My first time in Bogota today. I do not speak a word of Spanish, so I am finding negotiation hard. This place had no sign in front just the addrerss. Went in and wanted to negotiate 30 min for 30K with a chicka. We wrote everything down, since no communication. She said 120K for an hour, I wrote 40K for 30 min. She wrote 50K. I said yes because I was desperate to find how it would go with the language problem. Since I thought 30 min, I finished at 20 min and after a min of rest had her get it going again. Needless to say we went over time. I kept trying to tell her to stop since I did not want to pay more. Finally I realized that she thought we were doing an hour not 30 min. On second ride the bed broke in the middle and folded in a V on us. Third ride was on the chair in the room since the shabby bed was broke. Her name was Ximena and I would rate a 6. 5 but give high marks for effert. I saw 3 other girls and their were 3 locked rooms so likely 7 girls.

I need some one to tell me how to ask for price of 20, 30 and 60 minutes.

How much do you charge for XX minutes = Cuanto cobras por 20 (veinte) .30 (treinta) , why 60 (sesenta) minutos.

In the US we have show clubs that the most beautiful strippers get on stage and actually give a show. Is their such a club in Bogota? I have not found one. All the clubs I have been to just have a cat walk that is almost not used, and it is not the finest women in town.

It was a holiday on Monday and many things were closed. I was told the Penthouse in Zona Rosa would be open. Calle 84. It has been a hotel for 3 years. I asked the driver to take me to anothe bar with women. He took me to Paradise Club, Calle 83 #14A-28. Very high class club. 3 girls one spoke a little english the 2 others were a 6 and 8. On my 1-10 scale the woman that spoke english was a 15. I almost walked out right away when they handed me a wine and drink price list, but I was to tempted to talk with this 15. Once I found out that she was 600K and hour and would not come down in price, I got my check. 81K for 1 beer and 1 whiskey. I was tempted to use my visa card on her but she seemed to uch about the money for me. I walked out with both her and the waitress calling "where is my tip, where is my tip".

Clubs in zona rosa are all a rip off. Go to santafe calle 22, the one I like is called "las paisas". Paisas is how the girls from Antioquia region are called in this country, and they are supposed to be the hottest. The entrance fee is 5000 COP and includes one beer. There are plenty of shows and some of the girls are very hot. Some of the shows include lesbian and playing with toys. The price for a short FS is just 50. 000 COP. In santafe there are all sort of girls, from the pros that are working more than 5 years to the newbies that need money, come from other parts of the country and only know that place to go make some quick cash in the weekends. You can always find stunning girls there, some might argue that the percentage of hot ones is not so high, but there are real gems to be found.

The rooms in the back are opened from 9:00 am till 9:00 pm. The ones in the front have shorter opening hours, closing at 8 or sometimes earlier. They also open on Saturday and Sunday. Sundays there are just one or two girls per room. There is another place in street 116 carrera 15, a few steps north from the north west corner in a second floor. That one is also opened till 8:00 pm.

There is a place called manos con alma (as in "hands with soul") , you can find the address in www.manosconalma.co Or just google manos con alma. It is located in the north, rather close to Unicentro shopping mall.

They charge 110. 000 COP for 1 hour massage. Make sure to ask for the "tantra" massage which is the one with the happy ending. For some reason they wouldn't do the tantra the first time you visit them, but from second time onwards they do.

Some girls do what they call "espejo" (mirror) in which she gives you the tantra massage and then you are allowed to give a massage to her, she is in underwear only.

There is no touching and there is no sex available either. Even with the mirror massage in which sometimes they get really horny, they wouldn't accept any offer.

So, enjoy. The normal massage is rather good, you just need to ask them to give it hard (fuerte).

Not interested in a brothel, per se. I am having difficulty finding a decent place that offers a good massage, with a happy ending, at a reasonable price. I found many places that fit this profile in Medellin where the massage chicas in beauty salons would offer the happy ending. Anything in Bogota?

Not that I tried anything else) , where you select your location, click "Send Taxi" (yes, it's in English!) , and you get the license place, security key and (get this) you can track your Taxi while it makes it's way to you. Never had a problem, EXCEPT: you NEED a Colombian mobile number to register. I registered with my normal European one, and after confirmation, all Taxis cancelled the booking. With a Colombian number, it hasn't happened once.

I was in Santa Fe yesterday early and you are right, the pickings were slim. Normally on Sunday you have all the girls from Medellin and other cities who are just visiting Bogota to work. However, this was a three-day weekend, so I suspect many found other things to do. I called one girl I know and she was away from santa fe doing something, but might return about 3pm. Instead I made an appointment for today, which is a public holiday.

If you want to take a shower before and after, here is what to do. Go to Santa Fe, Carrera 15 and 16, between Calle 24 and 23. Almost all of the short time hotels here have a private bath/shower in the room. But there are no towels, so bring your own towel. Even the Sensity Spa in Zona Rosa (Calle 78 # 13A-20), which is very deluxe, requires you to leave your room to take a shower, but it does supply towels!

It is too bad you didn't sign up with ISG as a paid member before your trip, then you could have sent and received private messages.

This is my time traveling to Bogota. I will be arriving Friday night and have until Sunday evening before I meet up with my female friend. Note, my Spanish is virtually non-existent. I've gone through quite a few pages of reviews and have seen some great recommendations. But, it would be helpful if someone could summarize the best areas and places to go for someone who doesn't really speak Spanish.

For example:

- Which streets / areas of the city are best to hit, and at what time of the day?

- Are there specific places you would recommend for non-Spanish speakers?

So. While not much actual mongering has taken place, I do have a few learnings to share with you:

1) A prepaid phone is a godsend. I opted for Movistar, where I got 2GB of data (valid 30 days) , the SIM card and 100 minutes for 90k COP.

2) Transport in hotels that is carried out by the white "servicio especial" cars if a f*cking rip-off. Unless they go on the corporate account, stay away from them. 3) Santa Fe on Sundays is basically a huge gigantic party / market / something, but the pickings are extremely, extremely slim (to the point that after 1. 5h of wandering around in the early afternoon, all I saw was one Tranny that scared the living s*it out of me. I felt totally safe, but then again, it was during the day and there were 2 cops for every 100 people or something near enough that number.

4) Two words: "Cerveza Roja" from Bogota Beer Company.

I assume tomorrow (it's a holiday) will be just as bad, so I don't have my hopes up. I would still appreciate a recommendation or three. Taking into account that I absolutely can not stand not showering before and after, so a large chunk of the places are probably out of the question. I did get in touch with Adriana that works as "Sensual Massages Bogota". Does anyone have any experience with her?
