it was midnight and i decided to head over to oz (calle 74 16-79). i always liked this place, but hadn't been back for a few years. it's still a good party place, a nice middle ground between the dives and the upscale places. 10k cover charge gets you into the two story place with basic rooms on the first floor and two small dance floors on the second. the dance floors are two small pits that you sit at surrounded by a row of raised benches. you're really close to the action so it's not for the shy. two dancers go at a time, switching floors, climbing over people, and going into the benches, doing shots. they had it going on last night.

I went last Thursday to La Manantial en Las Ferias. Cll 72 (which EVERYBODY still calls 68) a bit above Av Rojas. Girls are 50k for 30 minutes everything included. I was in Bogota with Parcero for three days the first of this week. We walked around in the barrio near the Piscina and in my opinion the street action was bad there.
