I've only been to Medellin. I was perusing the mundoanuncio ads and noticed that Bogota has like 4x the number of ads! I started looking at this forum and notice quotes of $150-300 for TLN? Is that the going rate here? Since it's not much traveled by tourists I thought it'd be much less!

i'll be in south america the first time for business. i read throuh adoo an have some questions.
1. it seems that most women are available only when they are young, e. g. up to 25. i would like to meet a woman in her thirties, any idea?
some adds look really good and i got my first replies, asking between 80 and 130. 000 pesos. is there a risk that they will re-negotiate?
the tatiana that you are refering to, is this the 25 yo international relation student?

Posts: 1281Yeah exactly. The girl makes the same money at the end of the day at the 40k house because there is less down time. She has to work harder (!) but the turns are shorter too. I've had a couple girls that used to work at la 49 and same problem, too many girls fill the place, no action.

For example, most Colombian guys at Fase Dos do not go to a room with a chica. What percentage of Colombian guys at New Life go to a room with a chica? A very high percentage.

Posts: 39My first trip to Bogota
I was there from end of Dec till Mid Jan and one thing everyone should note is that during this time of the year Bogota is very calm as everyone is out on vacation. So, it would be a good time to visit and get to know the city.
Weather was sunny during entire time, 70's during day time and nigths chilly around 45-50.
Chico is the neighborhood where I end up staying during my entire stay and booked my apartment with Bogota casa. The first apartment was not what I had expected. After infoming the management, got upgraded to a better place (carrera 18, 93 near parqe 93). Its one street up from Hotel Dann Carlton which is on 94. This is a nice and safe neighborhood.
There is plenty of action during this time of the year at strip clubs, casas, listings on colombian web pages are plenty.
There was a casa few doors next to my apartment. I notinced it one night when I went out to eat and saw few taxis parked in front of this casa. As I was approching to take taxis, noticed 3 girls walking into the door way, I followed and found out it's pretty much a bar lougne with about 20-30 girls.
They close at 5 am, so I left to grab something to eat and came back to check out the prices.
Cheapes drink 25k pesos and 100k pesos to the casa for taking out a girl and rest is with the girl.
At casa next door, going rate is about 300k pesos per hour. Some girls ask for 400K, but you can negociate and settle it for 300-400k for all night but that will depend on the girl!
There is another place on the Carrerra 15 (I think it's called Lilo or LoLo) where it's more expensive, but they have a rooms on site.
Girls quality are same at both palces (4-8) since girls do switch from one place to another.
If you take a girl from any casas, be aware of the taxi fees as they can charge you extra by saying they are special taxis (for the casa) at end of the ride!
Peace,
T.

Posts: 1281Just to follow up on a previous discussion. I was chatting with the girl I previously mentioned from the "Pasrela Show". The gorgeous costeña who was going for 40k. She used to work up north in a 300k house BUT. She kept running into her brother in law's colleagues (Policia Nacional) at the place so she switched to Chapinero to avoid that circle. Just goes to show it's many of the SAME girls working for 40k as working for 300k. Caveat emptor!

Her name Laura Chinchilla
Liberacion Party
Same party as present president Oscar Arias.
She was the vice-president during the current administration.
I personally would expect a lot of positioning and posturing. But actual closing of hotels etc. I doubt it.
Way too much money involved. And way too many tourists also that it would make it hard to pass Congress.
My 2 cents but what do I know
Enjoy

Went there about a week ago. Saturday night. We were partying with some girls from Cali but it didn't look like they were going to give it up so we headed west ehehehehe. We spent a long time in and out of the bars on cra 16. Most of the girls were decent looking with a few real stunners and real slobs thrown in.
Eventually my friend and I settled on the same girl, Natalia, one of the girls who was working in front of one of the residencias. She's from Cali as well (hah), very beautiful, braces, in a brown dress. 35k each. We wanted to double team her but she said no, one at a time. I dunno why she'd want to waste her time like that. On top of things she was a lousy lay, limits everywhere, can't do this, can't do that etc. Such a shame, because she's really nice to look at, but not worth the ride.
The worst is that my friend lost his cell on the way out to catch a taxi. A bunch of street girls converged on us. I instinctively put one hand on my money in my right pocket, the other on my cell in my left pocket. My friend wasn't so quick on the draw and in about half a second they had got his cell and CIAO! Be careful out there!

I have seen a number of chumps bring them back to the states. Before they get to the states, they are already a typical American woman.
