Hello Fellow Travellers! I am travelling to Bogotá in a couple of weeks (for a week's vacation) and was wondering if anyone knows of a quiet, safe, reasonably-priced "party-friendly" hotel?

Also, has anyone had any experience staying at Suites Real 97 (or 85), if so, your opinions on these locations would be very much appreciated.

I am just completely amazed at how expensive most hotel rooms are in Bogotá and was considering renting an apartment instead (I just can't afford $1000-$2000 for a hotel room for one week if I am to have any money left over for the real purpose of my travels.).

My principal concerns with respect to a hotel are are quietness, safety and privacy (for party-related activities).

On that note, does anyone know of any reasonably-priced hotels (less than about US $80 per night) that are quiet, safe, clean, and where I can party in my room without fear of having the door being kicked in by hotel security.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I promise a "juicy" trip report upon my return.

I know my co-degenerate following out there has been anxiously awaiting my trip report from my last debaucherous journey to Bogota. While I attempt to come down from Cloud 9 and collect my thoughts, I hope these pics will tide you over! One correction, the one girl, Mariana is from Casanova's, not Juan Pablo'. Over the course of 3 1/2 days, I banged 10 girls from Atunes, Juan Pablo's, Mezzanine Massages, Abejita's Massages in ZR, Casanova's, and other places that I don't remember.

I feel like a new man having discovered the scene in Santa fe. It didn't seem as dangerous as everyone makes it out to be (still shady), but I'm used to that type of element, so it wouldn't bother me. Plus I was with a wingman! I will never again spend 300, 000COP when I can get the same or better for 50, 000COP. Changes my whole perspective and brings back my dilemma of DR vs. Colombia, when DR's main draw was price. Oh well, on to the pics!

I've stayed at that same hotel many times but quit when hit with a chica fee one evening.

Try Extasis or Casanovas on Calle 86A.

Walk down Calle 85 to the grocery store, turn right (Calle 11?), walk half a block to Calle 86A, turn right again and the clubs are on the right hand side. They don't open until the evening with chicas arriving at about 10:00 PM.

During the day, try out Abejitas -- a poster gave details at post number 1995, a few posts down.

I just wanted to post a positive report on Marcia here. I met her IRL on Saturday night. She lives in Ibague, and fortunately I happened to be passing through, she will travel to Bogota or somewhere close though given the right circumstances.

She is short and very much voluptuous, in a good way, she has a nice big ass, smooth skin, and she's soft and feminine without feeling "overweight" in any way. She really likes sex and is into the adventure of it all. We went out dancing and then back to the hotel for a couple hours of steaming up the windows, at which point it was 5am and she had to leave because she goes to the 7am Mass (! ).

She claims she has "no limits". I'm into freaky sex but I just didn't feel like pushing the envelope that day so we were pretty vanilla. If you want something specific, ask her personally.

Overall I'd give her a 9 out of 10. Anyways, yes, Tony's posts are FOR REAL. The girls are semi-pros and charge a very moderate sum, they need extra money but are also doing it for the thrill. Viva Colombia!

Dude, who are you? Why do keep peddling these non-pros? I mean, no offense, its just a little weird.
