Bill for one night, including minibat and all taxes was 109,000P.
Also, a couple of free internet stations in their "business center" - available 24 hours a day.
The next morning I used Jose to take me to the airport. 10 minutes into the drive his cell phone rings - it's the hotel calling to say I had forgoten a package in my room. We turned around, I go the package and still made my flight. Great personal service - will be using them again next week.

Hello fellow mongers
I am a resident in Bogotá, and i recently found this great forum you have here. I am specially interested in getting the phone numbres of Jacky and Jimena, if anyone still have them, as you have posted previously.
Some freinds and I have been doing similar efforts to establish a database of the escort service in Bogota, and we have gather a nice group of experiences and data that may be helpful to all of you. One of the websites was mentioned here befeore , http://cataresco.********.com, which was the first. I would be happy to help you with the translation of any article, or giving you tips or recommendation of girls i have had the pleasure of being with.
There is a second website, which is relatively new, but has good info too: http://www.foroswebgratis.com/foro-f...orts-27544.htm. We are sitill expanding it. Also, if you need translation of it, just let me know.
The motel situation in Bogota has improved greatly, there are many in and around the city, with very nice acomodations and services. I have also information on them too, if needed. They are much less expensive than hotels, there are many in very safe zones of the city, and some are even better than some hotels too.
Hope I can help. Good luck

Posts: 65El Greco, you gotta go eat at Palmetto de Bermudas in Zona Rosa, its in the yellow pages! I had their biz-card but gave it to a fellow hobbyist that's going down next month. Have fun, Bogota is one of my favorite places, of course, I have super sweet amiga that takes care of me when i'm in town.

I'd advise you to have them reserve Jose (taxi driver) for your trips. He's very reliable, knowledgeable, and honest, but speaks no English. Also, he works from 7 am to 6 pm., never later.

Posts: 1194Wubayou: Santa Fe is NOT The Most Dangerous Area at All
Not the best area, I grant you, but the HUGE ZonaSur (which I have not visited) is reputedly MUCH worse. That being said, Santa Fe (really the old part) is NOT for the solo sex tourist on a cruise.

Posts: 9Coming to Bogota on the 23rd for 4 nights...
Hey guys,
It will be the first time for me. I learned most of my lessons in Costa Rica and Cuba, with a few trips to Brazil. I got of easy in the USA, as I've never been married...I'm 40 with plenty of energy, though I'll be coming in from Cali, so who knows what kind of condition I'll be in when I arrive in Bogota. I speak intermediate Spanish, so let me know if anyone will be around for some fun over Thanksgiving weekend.
Any new info, or advise on a nice, but not too expensive, place to stay would be appreciated.

I stayed at the Hotel Suites Real 85, located on Cra. 18 Calle 84-56. In the 3 weeks I was there recently, I brought a guest (female) home with me each night and they didn't charge extra or anything. They also are located in a good area near La Zona Rosa and they call reliable taxis for you. Clean hotel with a rate of about 90,000 COP per night.

Shanidar,
You said you found work in Colombia, how so? I am desperately trying to move down there, as I love the place and have family there. I am trying to get work through my aunt at the embassy, but any other advice would be helpful.

The Santa Fe area is located in downtown Bogota. You can just tell your cab driver to take you to "Barrio Santa Fe" or to La Piscina. La Piscina is the best of the area, plenty of hot girls for 60,000 COP full service. El Castillo is next door and is huge, but rarely has many girls. A couple streets back you'll find Las Paisas, which has some good lookers but not an abundance. Girls can be had for about 30,000 COP for full service. La Casona is next door, and prices run the same. One I liked, but it was kind of a dive, was Venus Show Bar, on the same street. On the weekends, they pick a guy out of the audience, and a girl will give him oral sex on stage and possibly full sex, as a sort of a show. Its raunchy but interesting to say the least. You can take a girl upstairs for 30,000 COP, full service. Not high quality girls, but there are some cute ones. Keep in mind, in Santa Fe, the girls tend to walk from place to place looking for business, so you'll see familiar faces. There are also many streetwalkers hanging out of open doors in the area. Now, this is regarded as one of the most dangerous areas of Bogota. You should know spanish if you want to walk around there. I made friends with many of the security guards and bartenders because I tipped them a bit. I'm 25, well built, half Colombian, but I look like a gringo/Marine. I did stand out, and I also did not dress down. In the last two months in my two trips to Bogota, I was in Santa Fe at least 20 nights without a problem. Take that as luck though, not the norm. Just keep your head up if you decide to go there. If you are the type to get nervous when alone in foreign areas, avoid this section, as you will be surrounded by many groups of guys with their buddies that are heavily intoxicated and could cause trouble.
