You know what I find amusing? it is as if every state in Colombia is autonamous of the other. My wife is Rola however she seems to only make friends here in the States with other Bogotanas, Women from Medellin think Rolas are stuck up, Rolas think Paisas are Guajiras, All the women think Calenas are cheap just because they like to show off their bodies. I just get a laugh out of the stereaotypes they they label each other with. I have found Colombians to be extremely amable, but class conciense they are. Anyway just felt like spouting.

Cachaco has several meanings based on it's context, to wit;

Noun - Cachaco - a species of fish , which is particularly ugly; "tu te ves como un cachaco". adjective - slang - to be particullarly well dressed; "tu te ves cachaco/cachaca". Noun - slang - a well dressed man/woman. Noun - slang - a man woman from the coast.

Sardinas (female of sardines, the tiny fish) refers to teenagers of any nationality, not Colombianas per se.

Also, but that is what you would hear in Medellin or Cali not in Bquilla. Or Cartagena,or Santa Marta or other parts of the Coast.

The term SARDINA refers to a female teenager as a male teenager would be SARDINO.

But did you ever hear about UNA SARDINA CACHACA QUE ESTA BUENISIMA? :) Peter.

Cachaca is a name given by the people of the COAST , ex. Where I am, to refer to people from the INTERIOR part of the Country.

They can be from Cali, Medellin, Bucaramanga ,Bogota etc.
But it is mostly used to refer to people from Bogota. Peter.

What is the meaning of Cachaca as you have used it in your report? I know that cachaca is a Brazilian liquor made from sugar cane, but you have used it as your wife is "cachaca". Is that slang for a Brazilian woman? or ??

It is curious what the various latin countries call their young women. Examples:
Honduras= Catrachas
Gutemala = Chapinas
Costa Rica = Ticas

I dated a Colombian woman for a brief time and she said that the Colombianas are sometimes called sardinas.

So, what is a Cachaca?

I do not care how much the hotel is I have $$

I can not help you much in Bogota as I am based in Barranquilla. BUT I can tell you through experience that a very nice expensive Hotel will not let you run your show,they wil simply not let the girls in as they give the Hotel a bad name.
That is the case here in the 5 Star hotels that we have , and anybody that says the opposite is just a big liar.
What you need is a clean safe place that will be girl friendly even if you have to pay an additional charge. I am sure the true Bogota Mongers will be able to help you. Peter.

I have been to Bogota a few times since my wife is a Cachaca. In all of my previous visits we stay with her family close to the airport, and when I can dip out I usually look in the back of El Tiempo for a casa and jump in a taxi run off to the casa preferably in the afternoon since in the morning the only girls that seem to be in the casas are the ones that live there and maybe a 6 at best, plus they always try to Gringo price me for a short time. I have heard that local prices in a nondescript casa is like 30k cop.

Ok to my point... I will be going there this spring and will have 2 days all to myself in the city, on a secret agent mission. I need to know a few things.

1. I want to stay in a nice hotel close to Chapinero but not in Chapinero.

2. The house must be girl friendly I will pay double occ.

3. Are doormen good for sending fine chicas to your room, or should I call an escort service from the back of El-tiempo?

4. I have heard that lots of the web sited for acompanantes I have found have phony pics and lazy women. I want ardientes!! doty, gfe, bbbj cfs. Me gusta me chicas joven y limpia. Possible?

I have been married to a Bogotana for 14 years and she is sweet, OI met her in the states as a student. But you know I have that monger wander feeling.

All help is appreciated. I do not care how much the hotel is I have $$ I just dont want a walk of shame, I trt to be discreet.
