Unfortunately, Escoces also charges a 40, 000 'Bar Fine', on top of what appears to be 100, 000 to 150, 000 fee for the chica.

I was referring to Cali not having a place like LDV in Cartagena, or Blue Marlin Bar in San Jose, or Help in Rio, etc. Would be a good business idea for this town.

It's a Friday night, 10 pm, I'm in Cali. But there's just no desire to do a third night of paying taxis to drive me around to the same massage parlors, with the same 4 or 5 girls (most of whom have that Cali luggage on their waists and asses). It would be great to sit in one place, with lots of new and different pros coming in and out to pick from.

I do have to admit there is some truth to your statement. Calenas do seem alot bigger than girls from Bogota or Medellin. Even the "models" or girls from the Mejor Cola contest for example are pretty 'thick". I wouldn't call them fat though,but after a child or two those already wide hips are gonna get even wider. Non pros are the way to go in Cali, in terms of personality Calenas beat every other by wide margin. You'll never hit it off with a Paisa the way you will a Calena right off the bat.

I am here in Cali right now typing this. I admit it's my first time here, but I have to say that it seems there aren't any pro hookup bars?

Is this place ALL about having to go to massage places and casitas? Isn't there a place (or a bar?) where there are pros to pick up and take back to your place?

I printed out the Cali list and tried some of those places on there, but it sure sucks to not have a pickup spot for pros.

And, to answer the previous post yes, the prices are quite cheap at these places (many have a 35K twenty min price), but BEWARE, there are a lot of fat girls here! Very hard to find a thin one (unless you're at the mall but they're only nonpro)

Have you tried El Escoses for more of a club scene with ALL pro hook ups? You can sit and get to know them, dance, take them upstairs or take out.

I've been to Medellin and planning to go Cali cuz I here casas and clubs are cheaper. Is that true? The mongering was great in medellin. In a lot of places I got a real gfe. Do you thing I'll get that in Cali?

My Dear Friend. First off two Thumbs up for the pics, but I am sure if you look you can find a great looking girls even in Nigeria and for that matter any part of the World.

But on average I find that Paisas in general are natural beauties where as Calena's many of them have to use plastics. I respect you opinion that Cali is a good destination for mongering.

For me I would prefer to rather go to Medellin where the girls on average are more beautiful and also the number of beautiful girls is plenty full.

Few places I like as good as Medellin. For example I would love to go to Rio, but due to recent hike in Brazilian currency, Brazil is no longer good value for Money.

Second place I like is Buenos Aires, but it is just too long a flight for one and secondly girls in general prefer short time, where as I rather like over night.

Cali Plaza Hotel is good place to stay in Cali. I had my first trip to Cali in July 2010. I went with assumption that I might find something different and or something better. In short my planned visit to Cali was for 4 days in Cali. I took a flight from Cali back to Medellin in 2 days. Nothing special in Cali and nothing you can do in Cali that you can not do in Medellin.

Only reason I decided to go to Cali was because their were no rooms available at Mansion/Castillo and even Frank Casio did not have rooms available, but even then I found out later that it is better to stay in Parque lleras then to go to Cali.

If you want to try a second city in Colombia my recomendation is go to Cartagena.

Unless you like thick dark girls which are plenty available in Cali. Girls are thick and they are dark. I like the dark part but have no taste for thick girls. Very few gems in Cali In my opinion compared to Medellin.

Then again to each his own.

I also prefer MDE to Cali, but 4 days is not enough to really judge a city. There are plenty of hot women in Cali. The best way to find them is to hire a good taxi driver for the night. This is a must for this city as they have no Metro like in MDE and things are spread out so a taxi is very important.

On my first trip to Cali a couple of years ago we hired a driver and he took us to so many places in one night my head was spinning. The best part of that was we did not go to the over priced places like Flores Fresco, but little bars and Casas that I would never of found on my own.

On my last trip to Cali this Feb. I even got a non pro lawyer who I partyed with for the night. That is rare for me so I do like Cali, but MDE rules IMHO.

I'm contemplating a first visit to Cali (after many enjoyable visits to Medellin). Any recommendations on where to stay in Cali? Preferably not too far from some action, but reasonably quiet/clean, comfortable bed, WiFi would be nice.

Any casas or clubs in particular exhibiting fresher/younger talent these days? Or better to troll for non-pros for that purpose?

Appreciate any advice, will post report/summary if I make it there and Medellin doesn't lure me back to her lovely embrace.
