Posts: 2688Romp ended by a damn holiday.
Well I guess my romp will be one night short. Turns out all bars, discos, and clubs will be closed at 6 PM tonight (Saturday) until Monday. I tried to find the holiday online, no luck.
Either way, I had a good night finding and gathering information last night.
Trip report will be out sometime next week.

Club Faraon (Pharaoh) Disco on the map is just a disco.
We looked for Super Expostos 2000 last night, and the club changed names to El Faraon, Avenida 2 and #22 and-59.

If there is any action, it would very late at night.
In the same area where you are staying.
I went to bed early, there was nothing around 9 pm.
It looks like there are two El Faraons in the same area.
The numbers are hard to figure out.
Mansion Calenas. Avenida 2 D Norte #24-113, Cali, LA MERCED, Map shows Piloto not La Merced?

Super Expostos is now El Faraon; small club, but nice.
All three Calenas checked out, the VIP did not move.
But, there is one more: Mansion Calenas. Avenida 2 D Norte #24-113, Cali, LA MERCED.

I've blown through 8 clubs the pas two nights. Lots of women with wide ranges of prices.
Still have 3 nights, but the list is huge and challenging.
Info for World Travel 69:
El Faraon is only a regular disco.
Club for Gentlemen and Deluxe Club are the same club.
El Eden don't exist.

Hello King,
About a year ago I played in the Wednesday 8:30 ish tournament NLTH at the Crown casino. Low stakes. 3-4 tables. I bubbled in 8th place – it was late past 2 am. Most of the 10 players at the final table were short. Shove or fold shallow. Folded to me on the button and I shoved Q 9 suited in diamonds and the SB called with 10 10. Hasta la vista. Decent amount of regulars. No other extranjeros.
I have heard they run tournaments (maybe a big monthly) in the south in or around UniCentro. If you can get that info, I am here until September so let me know if you play.
I stay in this north part of the city, but I do not know if I will be playing as my schedule here is more to bed early and up early, but I love the game so maybe.
PM me if you want to exchange local numbers. Cheers.
Masthope.

Tom -- If you are ever in need for a mall there are 2 major ones in Cali: Centro Commercial Centenario and Chipichape. Both on the north side and are as modern as any mall in the USA.
