The Bull fights still happen around Christmas time.

I wasn't here in "the Good Old days" Colombia and Cali as a whole is richer and safer so I'd imagine it's more to do today. It's the capital of salsa and traditions are kept and haven't been washed away by hordes of Gringos like in Medellin.

For guys looking for "the Old Cali" that was full of danger and desparate women I would assume that Buenaventura is your town.

There's a Drug war going on there right now. And if you need every more dangerous there's always Tough Tumaco half of the Strippers in Olympus is from Tumaco..

You've mentioned Buenaventura, Tumaco, and. Aguablanca. So I'm guessing you got to things for the sisters and know where they are.

My friend many of the ABB owners have cameras around the property, and THEY are probably monitoring your "activities". In Santa Monica the owner of a very nice place kicked out a guy for bringing in many chicas. I think if he had paid a double he would not have'had any problems. In another place I stayed a guy was scoped in the apartment next door. The video showed her casually walking out with his huge backpack stuffed with all his shit. So don't think your not being watched.

It feels warm, so I always wore my short pants. Then someone told me that was disrespectful, so I had to wear long pants, even if I was too hot with them.

Not as humid or hot as Panama, that's for sure!

Last time I was there the houses had fans. No central AC. Some breezes and alot of open windows, its not too hot outside.

Not as many mongers go to Cali anymore. Used to be alot of American men and matchmakers but now the women do not want to marry and leave Colombia like in the 1980's and 1990's when the FARC were scary.

I hear they got rid of the Bull Fights also. Not much to do there now.

Not a problem with bugs or mosquitos that I can recall. Women are darker skinned than Medellin.

How does the weather feel like in Cali? Couple degrees hotter than Med looks like, but -- does it feel hot? Is there usually a breeze? Can one breathe and function fine? Is the sky more clear or cloudy? Does one sweat a lot -- is it humid? Do apartments usually have AC? (No Ac in Med, no need really). Are bugs / flies / mosquitos a problem?
When I've been to Panama it was hard for me to enjoy it because of the weather, Cali climate seems to lay roughly somewhere in between Panama and Medellin, at least according to dry numbers, but I wonder what is people' personal experience of Cali's climate.

Your guess is accurate. It's a bit warmer than MDE, but not nearly as hot as Panama or Cartagena. Precipitation patterns very similar to MDE. Most places will have AC, but you should verify nevertheless.

Again Cali is a Cheap Charlie Heaven even if you come and don't like it you'll learn a ton about Colombia and it's a good alternative for Gringo land El Problado in Meddy.

There's an El Problado in Cali but NEVER EVER Go there. Actually there's a decent clinic there you can get bloodwork done for the cheap but generally avoid anyplace east of Simon Bolivarl Highway.

You can stay in an upscale strata 5 neighborhood for less than 15 bucks a night. To give you a feel for how cheap Cali can be I know a guy who got a 3 bedroom exclusive apartment for less than 295 A MONTH.

There's a guy on this board who gets a suite for less than 25 bucks a night so you don't have to pay too much but don't cheapout either There's no reason to stay in Centro because it's cheap or colse to street action. Also it is possible to get street action in any park at night if you know how to look and know the questions to ask. One thing for certain it ain't Quanto es?

I beleive I ran down the neighborhoods to stay in a previous posts but generally a first timer / short stayer should stay in or around the Grenada area as close to Av Sexta as possible. If you need or want Upscale than closer to the Boulevar like 97 Lofts is best or the Grenada excecutive suites is best. There's more security and the Excecutive and you need it as that's where the upper class mongers stay and you can pick up a lot of information from some of them who have been comming to Cali for years.

97 Lofts has no security and no elevators but the area itself is secured and you're close to parks and malls and av. Sexta.

Super High end would be the Hilton in the south (also an excellent place to stay smack dab near Unicentro mall and Ciudad Jardin Malls) or The Marrott in the north both are Girl Friendly (as long as you're descreet).

When in MDE I like to frequent ground zero aka El Centro but I would never want to reside there. I like the bars and strip clubs but when it's time to lay my head I want to feel comfortable. Belen, la 70, and Laurales are my go-to areas when trying to find a nice safe, and secure location without costing an arm and a leg. These locations were also pretty close to everything as far as when I want to visit El Centro, la70, or El Pablado (Parque llyres). I've stayed in Pablado several times and I love the fact that I could walk to the clubs at Parque lyres and the proximity to nice restaurants but too many street vendors are always there ready to pounce on the gringo tourist and try to sell them something.

All and all, I'd like to hear your guy's opinions on key areas in Cali taking into account price, safety, proximity to chicas and clubs, etc.

To answer your question basically you nailed it. You could say that the Boulevar is the laurelles of Cali. You could say that Granada is the El Probablo of Cali. I don't know which Barrio is the equivalent of Chipichape but lets say that's the high end area of Cali but Pance would be the Beverly Hills of Cali.

The difference between Meddy is that you can live in the most exclusive areas in Town for less than 40 dollars a night. If you choose to tay in an Airbnb because you think it's private and people won't see you running those chicas from AguaBlancas in you're wrong. Maybe if you live on Av. 9 in Grenada in a high traffic area maybe you can sneak a chica in sight unseen.

And in any neighborhood that you'd want to stay in you'd have night watchment who are literlly watching you. It' be a good idea to introduce yourself and slide him 10 million pesos and additional amount at the end of your stay per day. Beleive me EVERYONE on your street does this technically you don't have to do this but he doesn't have to do anything when she sees the chicas comming out with all of your stuff or seeing that yiu haven't left the room in dyas.

But having actual security is still better and yes you'd want to introduce yourself to him too. That security guard can even point out decent chicks to you or get your things.

ID stay in the Granada / Avenida Sexta area. Its safe around there and theres lots of restaurants and stores around nearby. And go from there to your sexo venues. Either walk or take cabs.

This is not a personal attack to you, and you can and should do what makes you feel comfortable but I'm not sure why anyone would come to Colombia and not stay in a place with security.

This is from a guy who never stayed in a Hotel in Colombia himself. But if something goes wrong especially a scope attack you'd want security especially on a first trip and that goes octuple for a guy that's pursuing anything anywhere near centro.

To thread the needle of privacy and safety I would reccomend taking Chicas to any of the many fine Cabanas / Love Hotels / Hourly Motels in the city.

Cali is a city that I intend to visit one day. So far I have only visited Medellin and things are going well. I have focused exclusively on Facebook girls in Medellin and things are much tougher to find Facebook girls in Cali. So far out of 1,100 FB friends, 1 girl is in Cali and the rest are in Medellin. If I ever got more serious about visiting Cali, I would try a little harder to find FB girls located in Cali. It may be a city where Tinder works better than Facebook. Cali is on the backburner for now but if I find more Cali girls on FB, I would move up the date.

Cali is a completely different city than Medellin, Coming from Medellin is like going to say Valledupar. It's the "real" Colombia I did the same thing went I first came to Cali didn't work, If a Cali girl agreed to meet you then expect to go on 50 dates with no sex because she would consider you an actual friend.

Facebook game developed in Medellin because of the scoplomine attacks from Tinder girls no where in the world does mongers use Facebook specifically to find pussy. Maybe you can use IG but even then it doesn't really work. If you really really want to come to Cali (and if you're fine in the Meddy market you probably should stay there) Then you'd be better off using Tinder and Bumble. I know guys who got drugged in Cali off Tinder but I used it for a year without any problems, For some reason I never heard of Bumble being a site that attracts drug gangs.

But if you really want defenite action I'd use Seeking SA is SA and works in every country where it's available.

FThe point is if you decide to come to Cali although a true google master who carefully RTFF would do well in Cali but if you need someone to take you hand in hand to the best places then reach out. If you want to see all these places they're pretty spread out you'd need a car to go to all of them. If you stopped reading at Cali is cheap and come anyway and it's not what you wanted don say that you weren't warned..

That would be great. We will be there Sept 14th and I don't mind trying the map but it we have trouble we'd definitely appreciate the help.

I enjoyed my visit to Cali and I would return. I feel that the people that say Cali sucks are biased or too lazy to find the quality women in Cali or a combination of both. Cali is a big enough city of over 2 million inhabitants and it can serve the needs of anyone who want those needs met. True mongers will find what they are looking for instead of complaining.

Again true experienced Mongers can find working girls anywhere just like working girls can find customers anywhere This is the land of Cali Curves but there's plenty of Skinny Mini Vennies here if that's what you're into it'just requires more research and footwork. Guys get lazy and spolied by Parque Llreas and the Clock Tower and if they can't point and click they don't want it.

Short story shorter if you need in your face Point and'Click action like Parque Llreas I wouldn't waste your time comming to Cali.

Triple your a prolific writer on the Cali scene. I can't add too much more on this subject. You pretty much analyzed it very well. My view is that there are 63 K posts about Medellin and 13 K posts for Cartegena and Bogota. But only 5 K for Cali. That pretty much sums it up. Cali is No. 4 on the pecking order and that's the way it is. Just not as popular destination for mongers.

I'm a Bar La20 and Son Sonero type guy plus the SW scene around there. Thats all I need to be happy in my sexo needs. Been to Dr. Amor a few times. Good quality place. I couldn't find Cyber World my last trip to Cali. But I will be in Colombia in 2 weeks, will make sure and stop in there then.

That's it that's why Cali is #4 in Colombia You went to Cyber world with me it's right on Ave. Sexta you're stomping grounds and YOU CAN'T FIND IT. I haven't been since then but it's the building with blacked out windows almost directly across from Caras Lindas. I'm telling you this and there's a 50/50 chance that you'd find it when you get here.

That's the essense of the Cali scene. You don't know what you don't know.
