Hello, fellow mongers,

I'm contemplating a first visit to Cali (after many enjoyable visits to Medellin). Any recommendations on where to stay in Cali? Preferably not too far from some action, but reasonably quiet/clean, comfortable bed, WiFi would be nice.

Any casas or clubs in particular exhibiting fresher/younger talent these days? Or better to troll for non-pros for that purpose?

Appreciate any advice, will post report/summary if I make it there and Medellin doesn't lure me back to her lovely embrace.

I've been lurking on this board for at a while, but have been traveling to Cali for several years. I wanted to drop a line at Caras Lindas. I DO NOT recommend this place! I first visited this place last year when it was located in Santa Monica. I never found anything to my liking there on that trip, but I had a few conversations w/ the owner (who speaks English quite well BTW). Back then I could tell he was frustrated by me stopping in his place like 3 times w/o doing a session. He tried to convince me that his girls were 'GFE' blah, blah, blah, but I told him that none of his chicks did it for me physically. I remember him saying somewhat jokingly that he should start charging guys to get in the place. Mind you, at that time he never had more than 6 chicas onsite.

That brings me to the present. In the new Versalles location, he now charges a 5k cover and the number of chicas has swelled all the way up to 8! I recently went there twice and again found nothing I liked. Don't get me wrong, his girls generally have nice faces, but none had the kinda body I like.

I would have nothing bad to say at place if not for 2 things: 1) he now charges a cover for a daytime casa in North Cali. This is the ONLY daytime casa in the entire city that charges a cover! On top of that, there are 3 other daytime casas w/I 5 mins walking distance of Caras Lindas that typically have 20-30+ chicas to choose from! 2) The second time I was in the new location, I asked to speak to a particular girl and they asked me how long of a session I wanted. I said no, I just wanted to talk to the girl so I could decide whether or not I wanted to session w/ her. I was then told that if I have a chica sit w/ me, I have to buy her a drink! This is simply unacceptable! Now of course, we're not talking at any big bucks here re: the drink or the cover, but it's the principle that matters. Of the dozens of Cali casas I've been too, this is the first time I've ever been told that buying a chica a drink is a requirement!

Bottom line: for a daytime casa there are less expensive, nearby options w/ more women and a better ambiance than CL.

P.S. As someone else noted on this board, they frisk you twice (second time by a chica who grabs crouch) before you take a seat in this fuckin' place! I find this very tacky. No other place in Cali does more than a quick exterior patdown. The owner is a overly paranoid as well as greedy!

Like these clubs because they are open 24 hours/day including Sundays and holidays. Saved my but since I was there on a Sunday night and a Monday (holiday). Calenas 1 seems to be more upbeat with more girls dancing. Calenas 2 seems to have younger girls. (50 mil/30 min)

Cool. Glad to know that their are two mid-priced options open on Sunday. I had a hard time finding a Sunday option in Cali on my last trip.

I visited both places last night. Got to FF a little early and they didn't charge me cover. Maybe the don't charge anymore in general. There were 12-13 girls. Only one 9 and the rest were 6's and 7's. The 9 was charging 240 mil for 30 minutes, the others were right around 150 mil. I don't know how long this place can stay open. They don't have the crowds or the women the used to have. There were only 5 guys during the 2 hours I was there.

I went to Escoces around 10:00pm. No cover as always. Very crowded. Nothing special though. The women are a bit more aggressive than FF. I left afer one drink.

I tried a place around Autopisto Sur con CRA 44 and it was packed too. Everything was much cheaper (drinks/women). If you are looking for a 7 or an 8 and don't want to spend a lot, this place is good. I had a lot of fun there. Any taxi driver in the area will know where this place is. I was told it's open 24 hours.

The waiter at FF is now available for pick-ups/drop-offs at the airport and take people around to clubs. He speaks English and he has very good instincts about Colombian women (which ones to avoid). He is charging $100 for both pick-up and drop-off and 2 nights driving around. That is a good deal considering taxi's charge $25-$30 one way to the airport. Here's his info:

I agree with Kdog. The Autopisto Sur place mentionned by Kdog is Calenas 1 that I describe in my post below.

Ok, I just came back from Cali after my 1st visit. I have been to Medellin and Cartagena so I wanted to continue my Colombia travels. While I liked it better than Cartagena (alot cheaper), I would put it behind Medellin. Medellin just seemed to have more things to do. I also like the fact that Medellin has strip clubs where girls actually continue to put on shows where as the Cali night clubs girls usually just try to sit with you and get you to buy them drinks and/or eventually take them to the back.

Quick Reviews of the casas/clubs:

- Flores Fresca

Waste of time, not worth going. Not many chicas, and ultra-expensive

- Escoses

My favorite night spot. Good talent, but a little pricey (150 mil/30 min) The club is usually good on Thursday-Saturday. Very slow Monday-Wednesday. Lots breast and ass implants here if that's your thing.

- Club Farron

Visited here one night. Interesting show with a girl in a pool giving a customer a blowjob. A couple of doable girls (50 mil/30 min)

- Calenas 1 and 2

You are correct, it's Medellin airport ride that costs around 60K, not Cail. Around 40K for Cali is what I usually pay, but I haven't negotiated it down like I should have. Lately, I've been taking the bus from CLO and MDE airports and then a taxi from the city to my hotel. Around 10K that way. When I get out of customs, I go straight to the airport ATM, then get some drinks for my stay at the airport (so I don't have to deal with the minibar), then check for a bus leaving the airport in the next few minutes. Typically, 15 mintues after leaving customs I'm on a bus headed to Cali/Medellin with pesos and drinks.

I stopped by some casas yesterday. Wow, really bad. I must have seen 25 girls with none higher than a 6. My guess is all the good girls are already in a room and the only way to get one is to wait and grab them the second they get out.

Checked out Las Calanas near CRA 44 and Roosevelt two nights ago. That night, to my surprise, slightly higher quality girls than Escoces at a fraction of the price.

I have been to Cali many times and 32k is about the going rate. You can always make friends with one of the taxistas outside the hotel (tora de Cali)

They will be more than happy to pick you up and drive you to your destination for that amount. $100K is about 195K in Colombia that is alot to pay!

Premium Plaza Shopping Center, Carrera 43A (Av. El Poblado) and Calle 30. They have a Nice Casino with No Smoking. 325 unique shops, huge food court, synthetic soccer fields, BodyTech gym, movie theaters.
