I finished my language class on Friday. I still could not speak Spanish, but at least I knew why. Spanish is not an easy language. I learned German in high school with greater ease. Then again, I had an hour long class, 5 days a week for almost 9 months. Oh wait. Now that I recall, I set foot in Munich for the first time I couldn't understand anyone nor could they understand me, until they switched to their excellent English. But, I digress.

My class completed and my pulled muscle healed up, I decided to go on a bender or at least party hard. I'd exercised restraint since I had homework after class and I wanted to mental clarity during class, in the mornings. But, now I could party.

I walked into centro near the plaza and per Google maps its wasn't a long walk away to Bar La 20 (though it would have been). But, I got distracted by the cool sights of the city and got going South instead of East. There is something appealing about an entire city block devoted to musical instrument stores. Got an Uber to pick me up (BTW Uber sucks in Colombia, or at least in Cali. The savings are nominal and the availability of drivers limited. Plus, you have to pay them cash, as Uber is actually outlawed in Colombia). The driver was not familiar with the name "Bar La Viente", though he recognized the location and assured me there were going to be some pretty chicks with big tits there..

So I went to Olympus around 0130. Naked chicks everywhere. Girls were young an one was hot but I felt like they were young enough to not give good service, so I moved on. I'm 44 but don't look it maybe they were afraid to talk to me. Moved on to Calenas uno. Talk about overwhelmed I didn't know what to do. Just a summary of my Cali trip. I am attaching photos of my passport stamps, for the sake of verifying my actual presence. Its kind of sad that I need to do this. But, I do. I have a lot of trouble with some people's TRs in general. For our purposes here specifically, I have problems with their descriptions of Cali. Here are a few things I've heard repeatedly that didn't jibe with my experiences in Cali.

"Cali is drab". See the photos below. Does that look drab to you? Cali has been described outside of this forum as "Colorful Cali" and for good reason. The number of trees on the streets and the abundant green spaces give certain neighborhoods a lush feel I never experienced in Bogota or Medellin. Also, its the Salsa capital of Colombia so you don't hear that ever present and awful Reggaeton that is so pervasive in Bogota.

"Cali is small" Actually it is a sizable city. Try taking a cab across town. One of the other students in my Spanish class, took an Uber from the south side of town to class every morning. It took her 45 minutes to a hour to get there. As if size really matters. Pattaya isn't that big, but nobody complains about that.

"The scene is small" Its actually at least as big as Medellin, probably bigger. The Cali map and list provided by World Travel 69 shows a lot of locations for punting, yet I sense there is a lot more there that is not on record. I actually saw some. The question is, how many pussies do you need to choose from? Yes, Cali has lots of options, though they are spread out. Another distinctive thing about Cali, or at least the area north of the river, is the density of "sex shops" (see attached photos). I saw three on one block. Not that they would have the selection of quality accessories you would find in St. Pauli. Still, its impressive.

"Lots of silicon" I didn't see that. There were a few in Dr. Amor that had ridiculous fake boobs but the rest I saw were all natural looking, at least. Those asses are real.

"Cali is hot". Not really. It is bordering on hot, but mostly it is humid, which makes it uncomfortable sometimes. Had it been a dry climate, it would have been comfortable most of the time. I'm from Texas and BTW it was hotter at home when I left than it was in Cali. But, if you are from a cooler climate you might have a problem, just because you are not used to experiencing "calor". If you reside on or near the Gulf Coast of the US, you will have no problem.

All in all, my perception of Cali is that it is a fun city with a friendly populace. The WGs are not the prettiest in Colombia, based on my limited time in Colombia. But, they are pretty enough and overall superior when it comes to service. They are indeed darker and you can see the African roots in some of them, in addition to their being a significant number of black people there (not too visible in Medellin and Bogota). The bigger asses on some of the darker girls are natural. My teacher from Bogota, make a comment on how big the girls were in Cali, though they all looked petite compared to the "heifers" we got up here at home. As soon as I landed at IAH, the first thing that hit me was how big the women are back home (not to mention their toxic attitudes). I haven't gotten a hard on since I got home and its been two weeks!

If I return to Colombia to visit soon, I will likely return to Cali. The place is cheap, the locals are nice and the WGs provide the best service I've experienced in Colombia. I'm also considering it as a destination for early retirement.

I don't think you'll have much luck. To the best of my knowledge, there's no real Facebook scene in Cali, or any city in Colombia other than Medellin.

I've been able to find a few in other cities, mostly Pereira, Manizales and Armenia, through connections with Medellin girls originally from those cities. However, haven't found anyone in Cali.

I'm having a hard time finding Cali chicas on Facebook. I honestly don't get how the search engine works. FB is not like a dating website, it does not allow to search by gender, age, etc. Basically the only search criteria available is the city, and even this one is messed up because it shows not only girls living in Cali but also all the girls born in Cali but living elsewhere in the world. When I do the search what comes up is dudes, various business accounts, girls of all ages living in and outside of Colombia. What makes it even worse is that you have you search by name (at least one symbol should be entered in the search screen, otherwise it won't even search). I have found probably 10 profiles that I liked, none of them responded or added me so far. I'm using my real profile.

Any advice?

I loved reading your Cali posts. I'm curious which country you think has more attractive women. IMO Brasil, Colombia, and Venezuela are all top-notch for hot-looking women. Sao Paulo is the best city I've ever been to as far as really beautiful women.

I'm one who thinks Cali is a bit drab. Don't get me wrong, it's not Buenaventura (which is downright ugly), but I think Medellin is a prettier, more pleasant city.

I've also come across an awful lot of silicone in Cali, but maybe it's just luck of the draw. The thing for me is, in Cali, it's not just the pros. The non-pros might be bigger adherents of silicon than the pros!

Also, I've never heard anyone say Cali is small.

And yeah, someone might punch you if you try to play Reggaeton (or Bachata, Hip Hop, or rock) in Cali!
