Cali is the perfect balance between cheap women and and cheap cost of living. Trust me There's tons of places that would be excellent monger destinations if they had the money to improve their infrastucture and convert some potential hoodlums and brigands to cops and waiters. That requires gringo dollars either in foriegn aid or from the gringo monger stimulus plan.

Had a Repeat come in from last time I was here. When I met her at the door I forgot how gorgeous she was. Sa asserts he has a artistic child. The last time I bought clothes for her daughter. This time I brought her a few more items for her daughter.

Before Medellin became popular, Cali was the place to go in Colombia.

I'm talking the late 90's and early 2000's.

That makes sense because of the vast amounts of casas all over the city. It would seem like there couldn't be that much of a demand.

Coupled with the fact that it is probably the Salsa capital of the world and the gateway to the Pacific I can see that.

Medellin wasn't really considered remotely safe for gringos until the late 2000's and then just Poblado. Those checkpoints existed for a long time and I've heard a handful of stories from guys who were around back then having to pay 'fees / bribes' to get to the airport. Disguising themselves so they appeared more like locals, etc.

Had my stomach x-rayed at Cali airport once, they thought I was a drug mule because travelling alone.

Yes, Cali had Flora Frescas, Dr. Love and Pharaon back in the 1990's. And many matrimonial agencies.

Cali suburb Cuidad Jardin had a couple. Latin Connections was one, they sold a lifetime membership for $2,000. They fizzled out when the FARC died down and women no longer were motivated to leave Colombia.

I'm glad to do it and I want to see Cali develop more as a Monger haven. That being said it will NEVER be another Medellin Cartegena or Sosua. The reasons is if you look back to my posts from last year and my frustrations with learning Cali Mongering here requires more patience than the average weekend warrior / Point and Click cat has. There's no Hoe strolls, No Parque Llreas, No Clock Tower, No El Conde, and No Pedro Clisante here. I can't show you "Where the Hoe's at?" because it's not like that here.

I finally caught up with a girl I met on tagged last trip. I liked her because when she could not make it she called me and let me know. She tried to fit in my schedule but I never got around to her.
