One lesson that I learned in the casas of Medellin and Costa Rica is that it is best to go early, but not too early. If you go right at opening time, the girls are usually late and it will take a while for them to trickle in, so selection is limited. If you go too late, the Colombian lunch hour crowd takes the best girls and / or you get "sloppy seconds," literally or figuratively, I. E. The girls are worn out from servicing so many guys. I found that the best time was usually at 11 am. Late enough for the girls to show up, but early enough to beat the lunch hour crowds and get fresh meat.

Would you apply the same logic to Dr. Amor and the other casas of Cali, or are the dynamics different there? Is late morning the best time to go, or would you suggest a different time?

I have also taken an interest in the two La Veinte bars and the other two bars near it (Son Sonero and Gardenias). I get the impression that these bars are afternoon and happy hour venues, rather than nighttime venues, is that correct? Is that because of their operating hours, safety issues in that neighborhood at night, or some other factors? What I have read about La Veinte reminds me of Atunes, the afternoon and happy hour bar in the Santa Fe red light district of Bogota. If you have been to both venues, would you say that this is a fair comparison?

I have been to the 2 La Veinte bars and Son Sonero and Gardenias many times over the years. In my opinion going to those places is best bet. 4-6 pm for the best selection of chicas at the max period time, when they have arrived. Going earlier especially Bar La Veinte is slim pickings. Going later at night that area outside could be a little dangerous. Son Sonero you could go a little earlier.
