Just Back From Thailand; Sex is Great, But Romance Lacking

been to thailand 5 times, indonesia 5 times and the philippines almost 20 times but none have stolen my heart like colombia. for pure sexual debauchery, colombia is no match for los (land of smiles=thailand). pi is perhaps most similar in that there is more romancing and "love". thais are more detached yet the sex can be very hot (eyes rolled up in the back of the head etc). for watching sex, los is way ahead of the others (though only in pattaya and still nothing like 10 years ago when live sex shows were all over the place). thailand has a president who would be called a bible thumper if he was not buddhist. he really has been cracking down on sex, drugs and rock and roll. imagine an intelligent version of bush. kinda like uribe. yet many thais would ask me about bush with thinly disguised contempt. virtually the whole world dislikes him (and, by extension, us).

thailand is certainly much safer than colombia, but it is also overrun with sex tourists, backpackers and tourist couples (unlike colombia). if you like hanging out with drunken euros and americans, you'll love it. relatively speaking, even cartagena has very few foreigners.

i love colombia for the country, the people and the romanticism of the girls. i like thailand for the gogo bars, blowjob bars and easy availability of every type of sexual activity you could imagine. everybody who enjoys the hobby must try both (or they are a very incomplete hobbyiest).

peso under 2200, yen at 100, thai baht under 40, canadian dollar at 85 cents etc etc etc.. like aids, osama bin laden and every other evil, the right wingers will blame clinton but they cannot deny the chronological correlation between the decline of the dollar and the idiot moving in the white house (and the economic policies of the current us government.)

now as to "bj clinton"; i see you have a grand total of 5 posts, at least one of which is the typical verbal diarhea spilling forth from the mouths of the rightwingers. so why associate with us sinners here on wsg? go hang out with your own kind of people like jerry falwell, jimmy swaggert and the **** priests, ok?

plenty of americans (like 49.8%) agree with the rest of the world that dumbo is a disaster.

I went to see my med student in the afternoon. Good session of 1/2 hour. Then, back at work, a girl working in the building stopped by my office and asked howcome I didn't look at her more. After a 20 minute chat I told her that we'd be better to go and talk about that at the hotel. Another hour session there that was pretty good.

Back at home around 7PM, I did my 3 miles run with floor exercise, took a shower and started relaxing a bit. But then, my wife wanted some... Another 30 minute there.

I slept well yesterday. Viva Colombia. Do you now wonder why the name antifreeze? Who could freeze with a schedule like that?

    Hey Antifreeze,

Go to Forum Logoff at the bottom of The Forum heading, you'll be taken to another screen and select Logout on the lower right of that message. When you bring up WGS again in the upper right of the screen where you log in again, uncheck remember me.

No worries dude. I am heading out now for your neck of the woods. I'll be in Cartagena in 2 days.

Not sure if I'll make it to Cali. Getting a last minute ticket there is expensive even if you buy it over there.

    Back to ladies!

all. my venture into the political arena on this forum is a lose-lose situation. nothing positive could have come from that. thanks for letting me vent a bit. i did not intend to harm anyone anywhere.

enough political talk. back to the ladies.

i moved my office recently in order to get a t1 line in cali. a buddy of mine from delaware has a porn shop here in cali (offering chat services from cali to people), and got a t1 line. he's a pretty nice guy. so i offered to fill the empty office in his building and use his high speed internet and he agreed. now, not only do i have a t1 line, but i also have a bunch of pretty looking women running around all day. all that for $120/month. ain't that a miserable life???

i'll take my afternoon wlak to go and see my med student now. i'm sorry that i don't have more specific to say on that board (addresses of new places for example), but i am staying into a fine-tunned routine that involves only few places and preferred service providers taht doesn't allow for much new over time. if you guys have any specific question, i'll be happy to even get out of my way to find an answer for you.

    take care. peace and love.

Freeze, I don't know if you are aware, but the nation was split 50-50 down the middle, with few people having lukewarm feelings about the prez. Many people were passionate in their dislike of this president and his policies, myself being one of them.

So when you refer to 'you Americans' and when you write it is YOUR president, I wonder who do you mean by 'you'?

Surely one would not expect global statements from such a discriminate thinker such as yourself?

It's a little irritating to have members from other countries 'tut-tutting' about the poor Americans. I think there were plenty of us that understood the issues pretty well, but thanks for the feedback! I will be lecturing here on French and German foreign policy next week.

I can't imagine how we re-elected this guy either. It's seductive to think of Bushies as unenlightened sheep but I think that's lazy thinking. These people who 'voted Red' are a huge swath of this country and not just fringe loonies. They had their reasons voting for this dude and not addressing it may bring us more of the same *shudder*.

I think that there's something worthwhile, because the left were more vocal (Moore, MoveOn.org, etc) in this election than in the past and the voting went worse for the Dems.

Personally I agree we are in financial trouble. With the huge cost of war, raiding of Social Security as well as privitization of the fund, the disasterous give-away to the pharmaceutical companies in the Medicare 'Reform' bill, etc etc. it is no wonder the dollar is slipping. It's the whole reason I voted Democrat this election.

Gotta hand it to Rove. That guy really is a master of the political game.

Not to turn this into a polical discussion, but since I was one of the people that voted in this freakin' election I figure I oughtta have a say.

    Political chat

I am an American living in Europe for almost 30 years. I left because of my European marriage.

I have seen the dollar fall during Reagan's and Bush's years, increase during the Clinton years because of economic advancement and ellimination of the national debt.

GW Bush and the previous treasury secretary, John Snow are TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE for the weak dollar. They believed American industry could through exports of US goods abroad improve the US economy out of a major unemployment problem by deliberately allowing the dollar to fall, thus industry would hire through improved sales.

Well, it has backfired. WHY? The dollar is now over 30% weaker since its high about 3-4 years ago. Yet, most US products still cost the same as it did earlier. The importers are maintaining the high prices without reducing them in injunction with the falling dollar. Someone is reaping windfall profits. I can name many US products still costing the same price. Europeans are not buying.

The dollar is weak and will weaken until Bush raises taxes or reduces the deficit substantially. The deficit will increase because of an uncontrolable war and not finding the terrorists. Congress and the President MUST RAISE TAXES in 2005 or the dollar is going lower. Only an incompetent leader gives tax cuts in times of war or military conflicts. If FDR did, we'd all be speaking Deutsch today.

It will take 6-8 years from now to rectify "GW's" (Wrong) disasterous domestic policies.

Even a slight increase in interest rates has shown to be a negative effect on the currency. The dollar should have increased.

Yes, a majority of Americans are worried both at home and abroad but what does it help when a small majority of the population chooses a man because he is likeable, family oriented and church going. The president has to show results of his policies both domestic and intern'l. There are no long term results.

Now lets get back to the theme of this board.

"Everyone else needs to right their own ship before they start giving us advice."

    bj clinton:

well said: "everyone else needs to right their own ship before they start giving us advice.".

now that the bible belt has finished enclosing the entire united-states, and now that your moron in chief, with the support of his people, is on a crusade to democratize the world, you will have to live with the consequences of it (not a threat, just a fact). i can move. i speak 3 languages fluently and am professionaly mobile, i just need high-speed internet to do my work. most americans do not have this option and when shit hits the fan they have to stick around for the hard times as well.

i have personally escaped the u.s. 2 years ago when i saw that an integrist was in power (look at the pattern of wars and you'll always see an integrist in power), and truly appreciate my move.

here are some facts about cali. the violence is not as bad as what your cnn depicts during its 2 minute of fast-food view of the world. women are, i believe, the best of the world. they are not only sexy, but also feminine and have their priority straight. sex is cheap (the almighty hypothetical god made it free, so that's exactly how it should be) and good. economically, life is not as difficult as what is also left to believe. although i despite colombian men leaving their pregnant girlfriends for successive generations (and despite the women leaving the men getting away with such a crapy attitude), i believe that most people here are good.

i have the right to my opinions and you have the right to yours (political or not), this is one of the rare thing that you can't touch.

i was asked howcome the dollar is so weak and related that reality to the political reality of having an integrist in power. i know that i may shock about 53% of the population since about that many people voted for him. if so, let it be.

"the only thing that is needed for war to occur is for good people to say nothing".

Freeze tells it like it is ...

Well ... I have to say ... sometimes the truth hurts.

As an American myself, a veteran even ... I read what Antifreeze wrote about the US, and it's just the sad facts ... it's not just from CNN or the Times ... listen to Alan Greenspan talk ...

Trust me ... there are PLENTY of Americans (from the USA) that are worried about the future of the country.

... as a matter of fact, think about it ... if it were up to the Right Wing supremists from my country ... there would be NO mongering, NO WSG, etc, etc, etc ... Thank heavens ASHCROFT is gone !!!

Talk about trying to butt into other countrys' business ... I think we win that contest hands down.

Americans are for the most part ... GOOD people.
IMHO ... unfortunately most of them were duped in the last election ...

Like I said ... sometimes the truth hurts.

Freeze stick to what you know and don't worry about what we were thinking.

Is this board now the place to voice political opinion?

You asked, so I'll answer. We were thinking "Hey, how about we send a message to the rest of the world that we don't give a flip what you think about our internal politics!" Where are you from? Would you like to share that so I can diss your elected leaders? Unless you are British or Australian, you have no room to talk. Everyone else needs to right their own ship before they start giving us advice. Condi Rice had it about right, "punish France, ignore Germany, and forgive Russia. The people spoke decisively on Nov. 2nd and now its time to accept the will of the people.

I come to this board to read about finding women in different countries not to listen to some idiot regurgitate what he read in the NY Times or watched on CNN. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing!

  12. #822

Yes! Thanks to the moron in chief.

At least the first time he was voted in, people could have hidden behind the fact that they didn't know the guy. But this time, the American people have confirmed to the world that they are not so bright by giving him 4 more wars (I mean 4 more years - it's the same thing anyway). When it's only a President, that's one thing, when it's an entire nation that is fighting against the gravity of a 2 digit IQ, that's a huge problem.

Consequently, how do you feel the Germans want to invest in the US? How about the Japanese? Do you want to invest in a country where the typical Joe is out of his mind? Surely not... The lack of minimal ethical value for people managing public money also hurt a lot the country. When you hear about things like the ones happening at Enron and WorldCom, that doesn't help. The world has basically figured out that the US is not a heaven for investing that is any different than any other corrupt country. The only difference between the US and Argentina as an example, is that the US doesn't have the US that bullies him around while Argentina does.

The value of the dollar is set by the trust of people around the world in one's economy by a simple offer and demand mechanism. People do not want US dollars anymore because they think that other people will not want it also (bringing its value down). It's true that the US dollar was way overvalued before the tech bubble burst, and now it's closer to something reasonable, but still my wallet hurts.

My fellow Americans: enjoy the tax-break you have right now, because a shit load of reality is coming your way. When most Americans will start strugling with 14 hour/day jobs to put some food on the table like the rest of the world does, I do not believe the rest of the world will put an aid package together.

The sad thing is that I love so many American people and wouldn't want them hurt in any way. But WHAT WERE YOU GUYS THINKING?

Good luck through your 4 more wars.

    American Dollar

    KDOG,

Its not the peso thats gaining value its the America Dollar that is weaking against the Euro,Candian Dollar,Yen etc. The US dollar is geting beat up because of the debt and war. It is teriible considering just a year ago the dollor was worth 1.6 Canadian, it is now 1.16. Its going to get worse so move your money to Euros if you can.

    HAPPY C

Freeze, the only reading I've done over the past fews month is the Bible. I've change my ways. I only like to point-out dangerous situations to discourage others from mongering (just kidding, of course!).

I agree FF is too expensive, I just wish more casas were open at night. FF is one of the few options available at night. I wish someone would open another FF type place in Cali with reasonable prices (tennis courts in Cali with female strippers chasing the balls is another dream I have).

Freeze, do you know what is happening with the Colombian peso? It's about 20% stronger vs the US dollar than a couple years ago. That, combined with the increased Frescas prices could make Colombia a somewhat expensive place for gringos.

    Amen KDOG

amen kdog, and welcome back to the board as a writter (i'm sure you were quite a reader over the months that you were quiet).

a quick note related to ff. they won't see me anymore there. the price went up another 20k. an half hour for 120k, i think it's way too much provided the fact that you can get it pretty good in casas for about 40k for an hour.

i never picked anyone on la sexta either. i agree with your assessment that there is most probably something wrong (other than the fact that there are often minors offering their inexperienced services).

i haven't had the opportunity to go to pereira after all but sure would like the trip one day. i look forward to your report.

going around sexta in a taxi is a safer option, but there are two things to be aware of, first, the taxi drivers expect to be well paid for this task. i'm not sure why, because normally the taxi's in cali are a great deal. they don't tell you up front either. upon leaving, they'll ask for about 20 mil (then again, maybe i was just unlucky with the drivers i selected). second, since there are many safer options in cali for these women to sell themselves, they are probably on the street for a reason. it might be to make a little extra cash than in the casas, but it could also mean they are ****d, failed the medical test given at the casa's, or they are not female. personally, i was very cautious about picking up on sexta. i had two very bad experiences and will probably never try again (fortunately, it was just bad service and i only lost about 40 mil each time).

also, i would think twice about posting an advertisement that mentions you are an american. i know the whole kidnapping thing is way overrated, but there is still a slight risk, and if the wrong person read the advertisement, it could invite trouble.

i would like to second a comment made by poobah. if you go to ff, you can get into trouble by acting cheap. the girls all seem to speak with each other and if they think you are tight with your money, you won't get much attention. that's my experience anyway.

if anyone's been to pereira, i would love to hear about it. i plan on going soon.
