My guess is that pretty much nothing will be open on Christmas. Unless you're in a big hotel, I'd stock up on food the day before. I prefer non xristian countries over Christmas -- at least you can find something to eat.

Will major restaurants be open? On Chirstmas Day in Granada and Chipichape no. But will there be bars small restaurants and street food availible in the south because everyone will be gearing up for the Feria de Cali one of the biggest events in the country.

A lot of the people I run across is from Cali so there's not a big going back to the village aspect of Cali. It's a city with over 2 million people there's plenty or non religious people there.

If you stay at a really nice Hotel you'll be fine or if you stay at a Airbnb with a kitchen you'd be ok.

I wouldn't nessarilily book a flight to most Catholic cities during Christmas but The Feria is a draw not a repellant. Either way I'll be here speading the Christmas cheer.

I'll be in Cali Dec 24 - Jan 1. Going to La Feria de Cali for the first time in several years. Sounds like you will be there for the first few days of it. You might have a couple slow days right before Christmas, but starting the evening of Dec 25, the city will be rocking.

Appreciate the confirmation on everything. After many trips to Medellín I am going to expand to a few other Colombian cities this year. Schedule wise it looks going to be April for Cali. Looking like right after Easter. I am a casa kinda guy daytime and strip clubs at night. Only occasionally do indulge in freelancers and I don't really do the whole wine and dine hang out and feed them. I get it, it's different strokes for different folks. I just wanted to make sure the casas will be full of talent when I get there.
