What you do does not matter, as long as you get laid. I think that's the purpose of this board. From paid AND free sex. The way you achieve those goals can be different for everybody. So what is the f*cking point argueing about this !!
We all have or own "style", we all have our own tricks. Its called personality, charisma, kharma, whatever you like it to be called.
One thing is for sure. Age has nothing to do with it (cfr. Antifreeze), it is common knowledge in Colombia a major part of the mid twenty aged chica's prefer men +35 and yes even double their age. Maturity, security and a wealthy cave to bring up their off spring is what they are looking for. (this is the non paid sex scene for a major part). They take their chances with their gringo boyfriend after a while. And convince him with their outstanding sexual abilities. Like putting the cherry on top of the cream jajaja !!!
Pro scenes .... well you have them everywhere. That's (for colombia at least) IMO a nice alternative. For days without a "freebee"booking. :-)
For many countries it is the other way around. You pay to get sex. I think Colombia is quiet different when you look normal, behave normal, show some respect, and show you are a "caballero" you get laid every night for free.

That IS a potential risk of running an ad I suppose. I have never needed to run an ad (as you know my problem in Cali is not having enough time to visit with all the chicas I already know), and my post was less about your comment on posting ads thanm the implied criticism of the hobby as a whole. Anyway, hope to see you soon (my girls are getting impatient (: ) and I got ofered a free room in Cartegana for Miss Colombia pageant so I am seriously considering that idea.

would you post an ad in your hometown newspaper? probably not. probably because you would be scared of what the other people would think. well, i would not, mostly because i would be scared of my own thoughts rather than the ones from other. i would not because my self-esteem would be affected negatively.
i respect everyone here (as long as ****s are not involved), but that doesn't mean that i have to accept every behavior as mine.
i personaly think that putting an ad is pathetic, and if anything else, plain dangerous (people do get kidnapped down here - for a tiny portion of the colombian society, having a list of phone numbers and adresses of gringos is a pot of gold).
anyway, not a big deal. i do not keep any hard feeling against anyone. i am happy that you had a good trip psii, and that worked out for you.
good to have some life back on that board (one of the reason i posted this, was to get some movement again here), i missed you guys!

I am not a fan of newspaper ads but I have used the internet extensively latinamericancupid as well as other sites and it is the same thing. So I can not call the kettle black. I think if a guy wants it, he has to use all of the tools available to him be it game/looks/money or newspaper ads. This guy PS11 has never been down to SA like many guys on this forum and do not realize how incredibly easy it is to get snatch paid or unpaid.
I can remember my first online experience when I lived in the states. When a hundred beautiful women half your age are begging you to come down it does stroke your ego.

Why not use an ad for a first time visit to a country, especially when you are not as fluent in the native language? Fill up your first few days with some sure things you met thru the ads. If things work out, great. If not, gain some confidence, and begin the hunt.
It appears that you are saying that paying for sex at all is to be looked down upon. Isn't that what this board is all about?
As for age, I will have to echo Surfer's comments. When I was younger I would put up with all the effort of the chase to get some pussy or when "it fell in my lap" Now after having been married once, I just don't want to deal with it. Sure I meet some ladies and have a nice dinner and maybe get sex. Then a lot of headaches! So it is just easier to search out some P4P and get on with it. Well, this is a forum which mostly dealos with paying for sex. So if you go to Cali for a rather short trip, don't like the casas too much, are a bit shy with hunting for tel numbers in a mall why not posting an ad. And even men who havenīt a personality, a lot of carisma or are good looking deserve as much sex as you do.

Putting an ad to meet girls is just one of the siliest idea I've ever heard. I am not saying that it doesn't work, but come on, what are you saying to everyone (including yourself) about yourself? "I am desperate" - "The only thing that I have working right for me is my passport and wallet" - "I can't compete with all the other guys on the same basis" - "I'll accept any girl because my dick is on fire". And then, what kind of girls do you get? The ones that are looking for an easy catch (which is exactly what you are). If you really do not have anything else working for you, and you really need to seriously consider running an ad to get some, then I'd advise to get out of the market. Forget about sex, you had your days (or maybe not), but now leave sex all together so that other people that deserve it can actually enjoy it because they actually have a personality, some carisma and else...

For those who are looking for students
First at all, you need to know some spanish words to get in contact with them.
In the south of Cali there is a university called universidad de la valle (Univalle). Every taximan knows that place. You can take also public bus, many of them stop close to the entrance (n°7,9 blanco negro...) .
The university is in front of Unicentro BY la pasochancho. You can go inside, there are watchmen in front of the gate, but don't stop go directly inside as you are working/studying there.
But if you look like a gringo ,wearing a flashy yellow t-shirt written Colombia, is better to have some good reasons (say that you are a teacher from USA coming to see a friend working in physical department!)
After that, is like you are in heaven, with plenty of young girls working in the campus.
The good place is the CAI ( a sort of canteen), have a meal or juice and look for your partner.Don't be shy and talk to them, as soon they will know you are a foreigner, you will have good chance.Most of the girls will have cellular, so take the number and call them later.
You can meet people who are selling "minutos" for calling cellulars. It's the cheaper place. 100 pesos for Ola and 300 pesos for the others networks.
And if you cannot find a girl there , go to Unicentro. You can find an office to put an ad (classificados) in a newspaper.

I tried that cyber cupido but can not translate all of the words on my own. It seems that it is a pay per month site. You can look at the photos but not too many. Then, if you want to write to one, you must pay like $20. I suppose you can use the internet to translate. Some are kind of cute. The photos I have seen of the girls in Colomibia are pretty nice.
Not sure what city is the best in Colombia. Seems like every guy has his favorite. Cali is real popular. Most of us can learn a little Spanish a lot faster than Portuguese so Brazil is out for now. Got ripped off by the Brazilians before so Colombia can be no worse.

I near help on where I should go 1st:
Cali, Mede, Bogota, Barq & Cart.
Which is cheaper departing from Miami?
I am ending 11 yrs of travling to Brazil because I have mastered it. (North & South), experienced 4 Carnivals.
Is Columbia cheaper?
Can I rent a studio apartment in a working class neighborhood. How much per night.
I would like to visit small towns outside of Mede, Cali, and Bogo.
