Yes, you are right about security of the city. The situation here are unknown, we hope the things will change with our new president, but at present I consider is risky to come here especially if you do not speak spanish or are caucasian looking.
I suppose that your friends are Colombian. If so, you can enjoy with your friend's advice. They will know well how are the safest places to enjoy free girls, shows, or some cute girls with different costs. Actually had a chance to go to "FLORES FRESCAS" but the night i was suppose to go, i went to la sexta with some friends and we met some caleñas that where willing to give it up for free, so you now how that goes; i don't pass up free pussy not in cali anyway. hey i got a question for you; how are thing now in cali?, i wanted to go for july but i don't know, i usually go to panama for a couple of weeks, then from panama fly to cali for a week; the last time i went everybody was telling me how dangerous it was but i know cali somewhat, know what area not to even think about going into, i also have some good friends in cali so they pretty much show me the way around cali. one thing with cali that everybody should know is that, for a tourist it is one of the easiest places that i've been to for scoring free puss... with a gorgeaous ladies you may have to spend some $ on drinks but thats all; alot of times just go to the bars in the area of la sexta, it help to know how to dance salsa and just be nice to the ladies you just don't know how affective that is in a place like cali. well next time i'm going to have to check out "FLORES FRESCAS" how much is it to get in now, i think somebody told me 90.000 pesos.

Yes that Bar still there, but you should try "Flores frescas" (Every taxi driver knows) the girls there are wonderful too!!!

I went to cali about 6 months ago stayed at this aparthotel right next to the casino at the intercontinental nice place, i think its call rayda; stayed their two weeks spent $150; at the inter would have spent that in one day for a room. any way there was a bar not to far away, about two blocks away, i think it was called "escocia" not shore; went their a couple of times incredeable looking girls a little expensive for cali but, cheap for american standards, think i pay $35 for an hour not many rooms in the bar, but if you want to take then to your hotel room i think $20 exit fee and then you negociate with the girl. can anybody tell me if this place is still open is very convinient and in the safes part of cali with all the major hotels near; one night took me two girls two my room all night cost me $200 had a great time in cali, some of the most beautiful girls that i have seen in my life truly.

If you are afraid about security, probably is better to go to another country, I mean, you will have more risks in Colombia than other countries. I think at present the security is similar in everywhere. You will find dangerus places, as well as safe places. In Cali, the north, where you find many discos and restaurants (Av. 6a.) must be safer than other places in the city. But you have to pay attention!!!

Regarding Girls, you will find very beautiful girls in discos looking for somebody. If you are looking something for money, you can talk to the street girls (there are around those places, too) or go to FLORES FRESCAS (tell to taxi driver for this or another place).
In case that you want to have your company in your room, you can ask to bell boy or buy the newspaper EL PAIS and see CLASIFICADOS (adds) in ESPECIALISTAS section.

Any body living in Cali or visiting there recently? Any information on the quality and friendliness of the girls(both working and regular girls)would be appreciated.
Also appreciate any info regarding the city itself, especially with regards to safety.
