Check out the SXM board. There's 5-6 casas all within 3-5 minutes of each other. Two are literally across the street from each other. You just park and go from one to the next. Colombianas and Dominicanas. High season (Nov. July), there's a solid 150+ chicas spread out among the clubs. Thins out in summer like now, but it never gets fully dead. $55-60 (with room fee) a pop for 20-30 mins. Has been roughly that for the last 15 years I've been going. So no inflation here.

When you say SXM I assume you are talking about the island of St. Maarten. Half the island is Dutch and the other half is French. All the REAL sin is on the Dutch side. Gambling, night and strip clubs, and prostitution. I was there about 20 years ago. You need a car to get around to the 'houses'. Prices are set. But I didn't find the native people to be all that friendly. Wouldn't go back.

For reference, I'm Jamaican, and that is my usual spot. I visit my parents, then take 7-10 days in Kingston to do business, and hobbying. I have a very large roster built over years via FB, Tinder, Tagged. Not pros, just lot of single mothers who need some help and professional chicks that enjoy my company. Those Jamaica trips are minimum $3,000. $600 are / t flight and $400-500 a week airbnbs plus travel, food, taking the chicks out and what I give them as a gift. It always hits my pocket. Not to mention some are very needy, if not plain greedy. One chick asked me to bring her an iPhone 14 pro max in March when we'd never met before, all while telling me she doesn't suck dick.

I see you suggest this a lot to different people. I think you do it because people come to Cali with certain expectations, get disappointed, and then ***** about it on the board. On the surface, Sosua seems like it might have what I want, but it doesn't appeal to me. I live on an island with better beaches, better restaurants, that's cleaner and safer. Aside from the hoes, there's little reason to go to Sosua, except out of curiosity. Also seems to be overrun by weekend warriors, who just don't seem to know how to act. I am not that guy, and stay far from that kind of dumb crowd.

You've also said a lot of times that Cali is a city for walking. I love cities that I can get around on foot, on a bicycle, or with the odd taxi. Frankly, I hate cars. My car doesn't run right now, and I've not bothered to fix it. I live on a small island and work from home. I use my wife's car when I need to.

This is why Colombia appeals to me. Just walking around discovering interesting places and meeting new people is a good trip for me. Being downtown, in and amongst the people is what excites me. Mongering is a nice aside, but it's not all I need.

If I were you I'd go straight to Sosua and or SD especially for a first trip... if you're hitting SD and MDE first then Cali you're probably going to be disappointed...

If you're coming to Cali and it's your first trip I'd stongly advise that you use a guide and or holla at a guy who lives here and see if he could hook you up.

If you're going to do the Trick trail for going to Santo and Sosua and Meddy and Cali either you need more time or just expect that the trip is an extrensive recon and that you'll need at least three more trips and the advice of dudes with boots on ground and knowledgeble veterans before it really becomes worthwhile.

There's a dude that if you read several pages back does the same Trick trail several times a year and does bounce through several countries on a 14 day stay. Dude has generally retired from posting but he pops up (mainly in the Boca Chica board) to answer direct questions. You'd do well to do a search and read though his posts.

I'm in and out my hotel in a few minutes and head up to Carolina to get some food. What I found EXTREMELY funny is that I had a grand total of 5 meals whilst on SXM, and most of them were at Carolina. Went into the restaurant and ordered a burger, then swung by Crystal Bar to see if I could find that chica I saw the first day. Got in, and saw her sitting alone. I have seen some ads on mileroticos and have chatted on Whatsapp with a few chicks that I'd definitely follow-up on once I'm boots on the ground, but I do love the casa vibe. Just hanging out, chill vibe, drinking and having multiple sessions with some rest time in between over a few hours is my idea of a good time.

I also like the street scene, but it seems to be not so great in Cali, but that's fine. I definitely will try that in MDE and BOG.

Overall Cali sucks. Won't be coming back. What garbage is that I already pairs for the whole month for my Airbnb. Money truly solves everything.

Either my standards are too high, I only like paisas, Cali sucks.

Other tips. If you want reliable internet probable stay north of the river. If you want cheap restaurant with good food try the'loli in san Vicente. If you want probably the best Peruvian restaurant try Mar. Peruano in alameda.

This conclusion is a bit over the top. Meddy certainly beats Cali but there are multiple chicas that are good looking you would run in to here. Besides higher probability of better service than scamming Meddy. Spend enough time in Meddy, it will feel like you are in Manila or Thailand. Everyone wants to make a quick buck out of you. Its a bit tiring to be on guard all the time. If you are a short time or weekend traveler you would not mind the little things but long term expats are increasingly expressing dissatisfaction.
