Ditto. It is totally pointless to waste time in pre-arranging girls in advance, when one once on site will be overwhelmed by possibilities. Not to mention the fact that everyone in photo is different than in reality.
By the way, those girls may look exceptional in Ohio, but in Cartagena are just average and would not stand out in a club. (well, my memory is from before covid...)

I am looking at doing my first trip to Colombia / Cartagena in two weeks, once the borders where I live open up. A friend of mines recently finished a trip to Cartagena and suggested that I try out Venezuelan chicks as well as Colombians. These are some of the chicks he suggested. He didn't have much info to share but the photos. I was wondering if anyone else had any feedback on these chicks, or should I just go clubbing and see what I can find?

I would say as a general rule that you can find an almost endless variety of Vennies in and around Cartagena at this time. I am looking at doing my first trip to Colombia / Cartagena in two weeks, once the borders where I live open up. I'll be back in early June but when I was there and the curfew was 10 they were girls there early but there were also a lot of touts and incoming bullshit coming my way which made it a little stressful. As long as it's 10:00 pm Curfew I think the girls will find their way out if it's much before that I don't think so but there's always the beach and I do think the curfews are opening up or will be soon I'm just guessing it's going to be 10:00 pm Everyday.

That's the funniest question yet once you get on the street in Bocagrande you'll know where the book one as a matter of fact they'll be chasing you down. By the way they now allow people on the beach on weekends till 12:00 noon.

I have been to ctg 2 times and I'm planning trip3. Like I always do I read the last 20 pages of a cite for updated info. I am confused all I need to know is the clock tower open with chicas and as always is it populated with chicas from 10 pm to 12 pm.

My experience last week was the exact opposite. My chica colombiana handled all the negotiating and I paid the 70 k for both of us. (35 k each and includes round trip boat transportation, lunch and a drink). We met them at Calle 1 A near the Hilton where the road loops around by the lake. After paying we followed them down Calle 1 A which is a dirt road that leads to the beach near Playa El Laguito. At the beach there were several boat and we were introduced to the captain. When we arrived to Tierra Bomba (Punta Arena) a chica received us and took us to our table with umbrella and chairs. We received a welcome drink and sat down. Later they asked what time we wanted to eat and the food was brought at that time. When we wanted to leave we were directed to a boat down the beach and returned to the same location we left from. No extra charge or hidden fees. 35 k per person was the total cost. This was last week and is current.

I did the same last time there right before covid.

It was lobster but unfortunately not great. Took a boat back to Laguito after.

There are public and private boats. If you want private, like Kafka told you, the moment they see you walking to the beach, they'll be all over you. The problem is they start with ridiculous prices, then easily go down, but that doesn't mean much. I remember they gave me a decent price for the transfer, but when we got there, it was like a hostage situation. The drinks and food they quoted me were insane. I wrote about our Tierra Bomba experience sometime in August 2018. Look for it.

Here is what I would do in retrospect: there is a hotel right on the beach (don't remember the name right now) over there with a nice pool, bar, restaurant, and comfortable beach beds. They quoted me like $15 per day for use of the facilities, but then our "jailers" showed up and they obviously didn't like that. Maybe they could organize a transfer for you there, too, I don't know. But that would be a much better way to spend time on the beach than being totally dependent on touts.

One of my friends in cartagena just told me there is a weekend curfew all day until Monday.

Your friend must not be in Cartagena or you have mistaken him for being in another city. Cartagena does not have a curfew all day on the weekends. Anybody that is currently in Cartagena knows this. Beaches are open during the week. Get there early.

Was headed to Medellin originally but detoured to Cartagena for obvious reasons. First stayed in Bocagrande with one of my established chicas. Place was ok. No doorman and keys were in a lockbox for my check in. Went to Olimpica to stock up on food and drinks. She whipped up some delicious food from scratch and it was awesome. Spent some time at the beach and quality time at night. After a few days I checked out of the place and sent my chica home.

Then I checked into a place on the 18th floor in El Laguito. Nice views of the beach and city from 2 vantage points. Sent for my other chica and she arrived and got registered at the front desk. We had an awesome time together. Did the beach thing, went to Exitos and stocked up on food and drinks for the apartment. This chica can cook too. Had some great homemade meals. We went to Tierra Bomba Island for a day trip. The cost was awesome. For only 35 k per person you get round trip boat transportation, a table with chairs and umbrella, a good lunch that was tasty and filling and an alcoholic beverage. Yes all for 35 k, no hidden fees. I had a good time in Cartagena despite the situation. Sent the chica home and headed to the airport for my flight to Bogota. By the way, Centro is closed but I did see options and the beach and on the streets in Bocagrande and El Laguito.
