I understand from Juan they're chica friendly, but would be good to hear from someone who's stayed there.

I have stayed at Juan's apartments ("Marin") a couple of times. I recommend them. I had not problem entering the girls into the building. Nothing more to add to the Mojo Bandit and Xpartan comments.

A couple of years ago I took two girls to a motel since I had read in this forum in the buildings multiples girls were not allowed. Actually I do not know if this rule actually exist.

I stayed in Marin and I was a little surprised by the fact that the apartment was actually a little nicer than the photos made it look, these apartments are dated looking and in the past were probably described as really nice but now they are just showing their age a little but still clean and the one I stayed had great AC, great hot water, and a washer and dryer. In the past I had stayed at Playa which is just next door, but I was surprised that from Marin there is a better view out to the open sea. The coast of Laguito faces a large island. Tierra Bomba but you still also get a view of the open sea to your left from you balcony. I have a Google Pixel phone that has "Night View" camera option but they still may not look as good posted here because they get compressed.

Like Xpartan said the building itself is not nice at all but no problem bringing in guests, and once inside the apartment I would say it is nice enough. Its certainly not luxury and not "posh" but not that bad either.

I did. If you don't expect luxury, you will enjoy it. I stayed in a 2-bdrm with a direct ocean view. It's clean, fully AC'd with a large kitchen and a good balcony. The building is totally nothing to write home about, but 100% guest-friendly (IDs checked downstairs), and Juan is solid and very responsive. While I'm eyeing some more luxurious buildings for future visits, I doubt any of them can be as guest-friendly as Marinero.

My phone has dual messenger capabilities. I signed up for the google voice and used that number for the second whatsapp that is on my phone. I happened to be in Florida when I signed up for the google voice and it gave me a list of local numbers from that city to choose from. I only add hookers to the 2nd whatsapp, so when I put them in my contacts I always put x before their names to make it easier to search and add to that whatsapp. eg. xLiliana 23 CTG.

I've googled dual messenger and it seems to be a Samsung feature. I have a Moto, so I guess, I'm out of luck. Thanks though!

I have tried twice unsuccessfully to get past WA verification. Are there any tricks to have it done? Do you get the number at home or in Colombia?

They are anywhere from 20 k to 50 k an hour depending on the hotel and the room you get. You can ask for the 'presidential suite' which I did once. It had a larger bed and was a bit nicer. Some of these hotels can be a bit run down. Stick to the ones in the old city (within the walls) and Bocagrande and you'll be fine. If you go to Isis, a strip joint, the chicas will take you around a corner to a love motel to bang. There are no rooms on site at that place.

This is where Latinos fuck their girlfriends and hookers. Most will live with their parents until they are married so they go to these places. They're common all over South America and a multi-billion dollar industry.

At night there's not much traffic and it's ten minutes to the old city. Cartagena isn't all that small but you're not going into Cartagena. You're staying in essentially one of four areas all by the sea and full of tourists. Cartagena itself has a different vibe (no touts and vendors always harassing you for example).

There are a few love motels even in places like Bocagrande.

I've been confused by some airbnb listings as they will say something like "no prostitution laws must be followed" but isn't prostitution legal in Colombia? This particular renter said that guests are allowed but can't stay overnight so I'm assuming that's OK.

Drinking is legal in the United States but its illegal in most places to walk through a family friendly park chugging a bottle of whiskey, smoking cigarettes is legal in the United States but you can no longer sit and smoke in most restaurants, prostitution is legal in Colombia but they do not want it in their face when they are on vacation in their apartment building.

And yes it is a bad location for mongering, good location for a family vacation, bad location for mongering. Manga is not really in the heart of the tourist area it is more a quiet residential area.

Great report. I am never pressed to fuck a particular girl. And my thinking is always that she needs money more than I need pussy, so I always negotiate. A lot of guys tend to say it ruins the mood to negotiate, but I am like what mood? She is a hooker. But I guess they mean their fantasy or something.

Theres also the possibility, that some mongers have very very low self-esteem and don't want to fathom the thought that a 3rd world hooker might reject them, so lest they do anything to cause that, they just agree to anything she asks for and don't ask for anything in return, just accept whatever minimum service she throws out, if any.
