Hello everybody,

I plan to come in Cartagena in Feb. / March for 1 month (for practicing kitesurf in la Boquilla meanwhile getting girls).

I plan to stay at one Airbnb located in the Radisson Hotel in la boquilla (I will not be a client of the hotel, but will rent a Airbnb apartment located on the last floor of the hotel).

I was wondering what is the current situation of the policy of hotels concerning bringing girls at one place since it seems to change quite fast depending on the various political decisions knowing that:

- my hotel will be located in la boquilla and not the centro, maybe it is less strict there?

- I will not really be a customer of the hotel, but still will have to enter through the hotel lobby.

- I don't feel really comfortable asking directly the Airbnb person renting the apartment.

It's almost always in the Airbnb house rules section if they allow guests or not. Also if not sure always ask They are trying to just make money and won't be offended.

The strictness with guests thing is a double edge sword. It greatly protects you when they photo copy their IDs so the girl would have repercussions if she drugged or stole from you but can also make things complicated with constant changing rules. I personally think it's worth the safety though of always having a security / front door person.

Saturday night I was not in the mood for anyone nonsense.

I was walking around looking for food and found my new annoyance! I honestly have no clue why you guys are still messing with the pros there. Seems like trouble just waiting to happen. A police shakedown or a drugging. These youtubers have single handedly destroyed the scene that you guys loved so much there. Will probably be back to normal eventually or maybe not? The covid vaccine mandates to enter certain buildings tells me that a world wide shift is taking place right now.

If I had my choice I would go retire somewhere in Asia maybe a in krabi Thailand but covid is changing that too. I will be on my guard next time in Cartagena though. A lot of those vendors are big trouble waiting to happen and I'm sure a lot of them are scheming ways to get police shakedowns as well with false complaints / lies.

I was waiting for the Hop On bus in front of the McDonalds on San Martin Sunday morning. An old cabbie approached me, kept asking what I wanted, finally asked if I wanted chicas. I said I did not want any but he kept hanging around talking, said he could bring chicas to my hotel for 400 K.

Finally looks like they settles on a price, and AARP Hawaiian shirt guy disappears with her leaving they other beer belly AARP guys there just standing around. Enough of this shit, I'm leaving, tried to get into Dolce they tell me no, their closed so I say fuck it let me go into Delirium to get a chica I know exclusively works there. I walk around and its a gauntlet of touts pushing magnum condoms in my face saying "magnum! No babies!" repeatedly like the annoyance of a mosquito in your ear you just can't swat. Finally I made it in and its a shit show. All the 1 up fake ballers are in there and its packed, can't even move through he crowd. I see my shorty but she can't see me so I wait, she comes my way and I ask her if she's busy working and she said no give her 5 minutes, then she disappeared into the crowd never to be seen again. Then I notice what looks to be a 6 month pregnant woman walking around in there with all that hookah smoke SMH. Cartagena is a strange place. Easy to love it and hate it at the same time. I might pop in Medellin first though. Check that out. These Panama women are crazy strict on first dates. So now were back at the apartment and we start talking, She know I went in there for another chica earlier because she saw me. So I joke how the hell did you see me I blend in, she points out I'm not like them so I stand out. OK weird but we laugh about it and call it a night.

Flew into CTG on Viva, arriving 3 PM, took a 20 K Pesos ($5) to the hotel in Boca Grande, hooked up with a wingman who arrived a few days before and has been hoing hot Tinder dates, rates were 200 K - 300 K Cops ($50-75) for 2 hours.
