The reports and information in this report have been very helpful. We went to Rio last year and had a blast. The thing is that when you go mongering as a couple, there are always little things that you wish you knew ahead of time. (e. G. Which Terma lets women come in as guests, what happens when your girl dances on the stage at Barbarella, or gets trapped in the girls restroom at Balcony?)
In Cartagena, will LDV be okay to bring my wife into as we, together, seek out girls? Is there a best Casa to go to as a couple looking for action? We spoke with Juan about an apartment, but opted to go with a place we found on AirBNB. A fantastic site and service if you don't yet know it (I'm not a shill). Our place is literally 1. 5 blocks from Elektra, which I hope reopens.
So, any and all tips for hitting Cartagena as a couple will be greatly appreciated. We leave Friday (in two days).
BTW, the wife is blonde, petite, and plays Alice in Wonderland for Disney Theme parks. So she will stand out a bit.
Also love the Hillbilly69 map on Google. What a great resource! Thanks!

Posts: 142Still closed as of Monday. It's now been closed for at least 5 days. I will be pounding on the door every morning at 3. 30 til they re-open. I will let the board know as soon as they do, unless someone else from the board has better information.
Until then, the best (and perhaps only) after-hours option is Morros 47 which has a very different vibe to Elektra.

FYI. Elektra has been shut for the last few days. Apparently the music was too loud or some other nonsense. I'm sure it will re-open soon though once appropriate palms have been appropriately greased.
Any more information on this appreciated.

I met an awesome freebie chick there and we had a long relationship, she was a Paisa, so for that reason I can never regret my association with the city, I guess. That said, LDV is inflated in price and reputation and overall the sleazy feel of the place makes it easy to skip for anything other than maybe a quick getaway weekend with a lover or a buddy. The walled city is good for a night, volcano and islands good for a day or two, some good eats, that's about it. I have spent more time than I'd like there, actually.
As far as the chica scene, lots of TLN action for around 400K pesos. That seems to be pretty standard, you can get down to 300K maybe. That's twice what you'll pay in most major cities and five times what you can get in some medium sized towns. For service, I think Masajes Rocio (mostly linked with sailors who come into the ports, located in el bosque) delivers and so does Los Angeles. Playboy and other strip club style places are junk in my experience, a little cheaper but worse, then the TLN only places suck, too because you really don't get a good feel for the girl before committing a good chunk of change and, significantly, a big chunk of time.
Overall Cartagena is worth a look but I would not recommend it highly for mongering, if that was not already clear.

Grind him down to colombiano prices, dipshit tony went on you tube and told some guy interviewing him the real prices.
2500 Chair.
2000 Beer.
5000 Umbrella.
I have seen him charge 8000-10000 chair. 15000 umbrella. 4000 beer. 25000 pina colada. I sat back and watched after one of my wingman in 2009, did not listen to what I told him, and saw tony try to hit him with a 150000 tab, I finally stepped in and had to tell Tony, no, I think he got 60000, because my friend bought pina coladas for 2 girls, a big nono

You can call Fernando at 315-273-6501, him and his brothers all have taxis and speak fairly good english because they used to live in the US. They're usually around laguito most of the time.

I will ask my wife if she might know when I talk to her tonight. Are you looking for someone to drive you from bar to bar (casa to casa) at night or take you on day trips?
I will see if I can help.

Hi!
Anyone know an English speaking taxi driver in Cartagena, who can be trusted.
Thanks.
