What I can suggest is to use Tinder for daytime dates, if you find one you like and things are good then you can bring them back for overnight or day trips. Chicas in the day are way more fun, at night time they are more focused on the money because they know some gringos are out there throwing it recklessly.

Except. Every time I have gone to Hollywood I have not found the selection to be that great. For me my favorite part of mongering is the hunt.

"Mega hotties" is all subjective. For instance I've seen guys there snatch up chicas who I would consider overweight and to them, that's a baddie. To me, she needs to loose some weight. I've seen them go for the ones that suck the fat out their stomach and inject it in their ass making their ass full of craters and cellulite and to them, that's a baddie. I use to travel with a guy who would not touch anything under 200 lb, he just loves women twice his size, that's his "mega hottie", I watched him night after night look for the biggest girl and his grin was ear to ear when he found one. I truly came to understand "to each their own".

In Driver and DiDi are the other apps. Indriver will be better than Uber. I've had tons of Ubers cancel on me late night but when my chica use indriver we get a taxi.

Those videos are kinda funny and why there is a big separation going on in that community of travelers. The constant of recording interaction with girls for clicks and views trying to make the girls look like normal girls when those of us who been there knows the girls are working and that how he can get a number in 30 seconds with "hola" " de donde erres?" Yes, Thursday. Sunday.

Sunday is the day where its mostly packed but you have to be discreet about it as families are there.

I always say to try them in the day time and then if they are good then call them back for the nighttime. The same girls on the beach will sharply increase their price to $100 once the sun goes down.

I always make sure I'm prepared with everything so I can get out of an airport as soon as possible!

Everything printed, filled out, ready. I'll print out my reservation info in Spanish so it's easy for them to read etc. I usually keep a few extra pesos from previous trips too so I can just walk out. Get a taxi and go.

MDE is the worst for getting thru Customs. My last 3 trips took around 90 minutes to pass. In May I got thru Customs in CTG in about 15 minutes.

Spot on regards the line getting through immigration in Medellin as the line took me 100 minutes.

I was talking to my friend from Medellin, she's in Cartagena right now and she's complaining the Venezuelans are leaving for 200 k. And it seems from tinder, Instagram, and the videos being put out that there are a ton of girls there at the moment.

Any recent reports on how things are at the airport? Knock on wood I never experienced it. But heard stories of hour long waits at immigration coming in. Luckily I usually have early flights.

I'm debating a trip to cartagena in July. I wanted a trip for punting but also a beach. Reading the forums here and elsewhere it appears hollywood beach is good but a lot of people complain about beach vendors. Is it that bad all over?

Like Medellin is there a Cartagena version of the mansion or safe-ish gringo area I. E. Poblado? Any guidance for a first timer would be appreciated. Cheers.

I wish people would understand that Poblado is not the safe haven that most people think. A fact is more Gringos are killed in Poblado then in Centro. As far as the Vendors and other people who won't leave you alone, you will find that CTG has more of these pests than you could imagine.

Yes Hollywood Beach is good for daytime action but you will not get any peace and quiet while at that beach especially if your July trip falls on the weekend of the 4th.

I do not know of any places in Cartegena like the Mansion but there are clubs in Centro where you can pop in, see girls and talk to them and negotiate, take them to a short stay hotel or back to your place if you feel its safe enough. El Poblado is not as safe as people make it out to be, most of the stuff I see coming out of Medellin about shootings, robberies, drugging's are El Poblado or Laurels and these are the ones that are reported and make it to the news networks.

Cartegena is safe as long as the traveler use common sense, if its your first time, take the caution of not crossing those bridges that lead outside the walls.

200 K Venezuelans? I'm guessing this is daytime quick fun because at night time it will jump to $100 minimum.

The girls know what's up, they know its Juneteenth and the weekend millionaires are coming down because they have that 1 extra day off from work. The next big weekend to avoid will be 4th of July since it falls on a Tuesday, many of those weekend millionaires will take the Monday off and stretch that weekend in DR or Colombia.

As for the airport lines, I've seen a few stories on social media from state side sistas who like to drag us in the dirt for exercising our options complain about the line as well. For some odd reason some sistas are also running to Cartegena to see why all the brothers are going there so frequently. Unfortunately, most of the plane's land around the same time so pray you aren't behind the Spirit plane because that's where most of the delays happen when they approach the immigration officer and don't have their information ready.

I usually take the first direct flight out and aim to land the middle of the week but by the time I land 2 planes are usually ahead of me and its always a relief when its not the cheese bus LOL.
