I stopped by Bananas last night in Santa Marta despite my better judgment. It is one block from Parque De LOS Novios as you walk in the general direction to the beach. There is a small sign above the entry and there are usually some security guys out front and the occasional girl from inside the club.

Frankly, I never saw so many gorditas in one place in my life. What really amazed me is they wear all sorts of spandex and tight shorts, oblivious to how they look in them. However, there are always one or two in there who are a step above the rest of the so called talent so you just need to be patient until they appear. Sometimes, they could be using the short time rooms upstairs or loitering elsewhere in the building.

I am a long standing supporter of the pay after, not before, approach but I made a mistake last night. There was a really hot girl in there from Maracaimbo, Ven who was giving me the eye. Young, great body, the best in the place by far, and so asked my helpful waiter to bring her over. They get right to the point there so she whipped out her cell phone translator, which made it all pretty easy to arrange a date. But I told her I did not want to use the upstairs rooms (they are truly disgusting) and noted I had a room close by. She wanted 300 k, I countered with 250 k and then she put in her phone $260 k. Pretty funny that she wanted that extra 10 k, which is about $2. 50. So I said ok and we started to walk to the door. But then She stopped at the front cashier and I realized that I had to pay the entire amount there before leaving. It was the same amount we agreed to but felt a little pit in stomach about this arrangement. Frankly, I should have declined right there and walked.

We must be 2 ships passing in the night as The Tall Man was in Bananas last night, spent 2 hours and a few beers talking to a few of the chicas and getting the lay of the land.

It is exactly as you described, probably counted 25 to 30 chicas and half of them were fat, no other way to say it other then fat, the other 40% were thick and I saw 2 maybe 3 that were doable.

I did not partake rather just observing.

Now tonight I went back to Bananas to check it out, just wanted to see if anything different showed up, nope just basically the same as last night other then many more guys in the bar tonight. After one hour and one beer I left.

Now for those of you that know of the Adelitas Bar in Tijuana, Mexico, a place where I have spent considerable time in back between 1998 and about 2012, well Bananas is identical, heck just a bit different music but identical and with the same chicas, fat and thick boned chicas with maybe a few doable ones in the mix.

Funny thing is that I am staying right next door to Bananas, got a room at the Adrea Doria hotel next door to bananas, literally my room is 12 fucking feet from the building, I pay 50 mil a night and it has a great AC, the TV does not work, but I am happy as a clam in the ocean here. I parked my car directly across the street in a parkadero so everything is convenient.

Thanks for the excellent report, sorry this happened to you, but it really helps out others to remember the pay upfront thing, so is your trip overall worthwhile? Any good experience from any of them? Is their enough to have fun for 4 or five day trip? Is beach fully open? Was their over 10 years ago and brought one with me from Barranquilla for long weekend and had a blast with her, from what I remember the beach was beautiful! But also drinking lots of Old Parr whiskey with cool chick that told me beer was for pussy's I'll never forget that! Floating her around pool and she had waiter coming in pool to full are glasses all weekend, those were the days! LOL.

Only go with the ones who seem somewhat genuinely attracted to you regardless of her looks and yeah giving money upfront like that is no bueno.

Deep down these girl probably all wish they could meet one wealthy guy that they are somewhat attracted to knock them up, get a nice house, go on big trips and get money from him while still proing on the side.

Then she wanted to take a taxi but I said my hotel was literally around the corner. The kid at the reception gave me a hard time saying she could only stay an hour, which is the time we had agreed to anyway. Once upstairs in the room, I immediately sensed a problem and my instincts were correct as she was basically a wash out from the get go. Even though she agreed to kissing in the bar, "whatever you desire", she said, her kisses were perfunctory at best but the worst part was she refused to do a blow job and once she did under my protestations, it was awful. What? They changed there policy? I was there in Feb 2020 and their night policy was crazy. During the day you're fine. But at night any visitors (not registered guest) had to leave the bldg by 9 pm. Then you couldn't have any visitors until midnight but they had to leave by like 4 or 5 am. Did that change?

A few reports back I saw some reports that one of Juan's apartment buildings was not allow visitors after a particular time.

I have stay in Juan's apartment 1 or twice every month for the last 5 months and on my way back to complete some work.

Not sure why space was so crowded on an early Sunday. Usually I can sit down much later at night there. I would not do that. Wayyyy too risky. Just have a trusted driver buy you some of that here. It is very easy to get. Going through the Columbian airport with weed prescription or not sounds like a really bad idea.

Thanks. This might sound like extreme paranoia, but I would rather not reveal my exact location on this public forum until I leave. You just never know what kind of crazies or even authority figures monitor this place.

I will say this. It is right in the center of Bocagrande right beside a big shopping mall. It is a high rise right across the street from the beach. The manual pull open doors are unique to this place I believe. Have not seen them anywhere else in a building like this in Bocagrande since being here. The views here are incredible here though. I love just sitting on my balcony drinking coffee or blazing up. Drinking up here is fun too.

Have had some epic sex up here on this balcony as well.

As for that last minute security BS, that's why I no longer stay at places that have security. Or stay at high-rise condo properties and only do apartments now. At anytime building management can change the rules and fuck your night up and the host cannot do a damn thing about it. Or Security can pull some bullshit that will take some pesos to resolve, or in your case you had someone who couldn't be brought.
