By all means sir do you. I understand your sentiments however your statement only reinforced what I said earlier about us Americans (Myself included). That individualism way of thinking has made it a sellers market in Cartagena. IMHO That's one of the reasons why it's out of control.

Notice the government of Colombia is only targeting Cartagena. An area I have witnessed with the highest concentration of SWs and Sex tourist. Our way of thinking and conduct it's not in alignment with the normal MO.

I can only imagine how we will conduct ourselves if everyone start going to Bogot. I give it a good year and the price of a SW will go from 50,000 pesos to 500,000 pesos because we have fat pockets, short time, hard dicks, little regard for The local establish market value and ways of conducting business.

I remember when I was in Cuba with Mr. E, his father and another DR Vet. It was their first trip to Cuba. Once they got settled in; they wanted to know where were the Chicas and what's the establish price. Those Vets pride themselves on staying on code. I took notes.

I think the idea of a tread on individual chicas can be beneficial to many.

There is many reasons a thread on chicas is beneficial.

It will help maintain the market price.

For example in Medellin, many girls from Gustos or La Isla can be had for a fraction of what they are seeking on weekends.

But with that said, they will not take that same money on the weekends during prime hours.

They can gamble and most times than not they'll get what they want.

It would be the first official visit that the president would make to Colombia and to a South American country.

The date for the meeting, to be held in Cartagena, is in the second week of December, between the 11th, 12th and 13th, when the summit of the Pacific Alliance will be held in the capital of Bolvar.

The summit aims to sign the Free Trade Agreement with Singapore and the presidents of Chile, Mexico and Peru are also expected to attend.

It makes a lot of sense that they want to clean things up if there is going to be a major international summit there with Biden plus the holidays with the lights and decorations in the plaza. I'm not changing my plan to get there Jan 8 for a week. Anyway I had all the chicas I could handle on my first trip without entering the plaza or bars. Had a recently sprained ankle with limited mobility but I took the trip anyway and just used a local tout with a phone full of photos who sold tours outside my condo building. And they were quality girls with excellent service. Even wifed up with one for 3 days. Yes I know he made a whole 50 mil pesos off the deal twice, the chicas told me, but then I made my own deals with the girls for repeats. He was super a super cool guy and it was worth the service to have him bring them to my condo. I gave him my left over beers and weed when I split. I hope he is around, I still have his number.

I call it the normal because it's been like that for years upon years, decades you might say. Let's be real for minute. What you were offering her is 5 to 10 x more than any Colombian would offer her for the same service. Sounds like you're trying to justify your actions of over inflating the market. This is why many other groups hate when Americans come and join the game.
I agree with you the Colombians are not hard on cash like the Dominicans. They are not a culture of bargaining on a DR level. In my experience there, I find the price that they ask you is actually the price they want you to pay. No negotiating. My friends and I have walked away from many chicas in Cartagena refusing to compromise.

I am also guilty. I tip too generously. (I took notes Mr. E) it seems we Americans are always targeted because we have more money than vacation time. We are willing to pay premium prices because we are burning vacation money. We rationalize our actions with all different reasons.
I can't get mad at the girls for taking advantage of this. I can't even get mad at the cabdrivers for wanting to get in on the action. I cant control what another man pays however; I can check myself and start with the man in the mirror.

Me personally I am guilty of paying a premium. But on my longer trips I will pay market rate with all options available. On my short trips I will not hassle with time not being on my side and especially if the trip lands on a weekend, even the average girls are willing to gamble.

You are correct however how often have you been to Cartagena? That wasn't the MO of taxi drivers at the beginning of the year. It was one of the things I respected about Cartagena. They weren't in the hustler mode that you find in other areas.

You didn't have to ask every taxi driver how much it was for a 3 to 5 minute cab ride. Overall Colombian had a standard price for everyone. The Colombians were more about business and less about hustle. In Cartagena the times are changing fast; But that's no excuse for my slipping.

I know now to always have the exact change before I step in the car. I just give them 8 or 10,000 pesos and keep it going.

I use to do the same with exact change or close to it and let them keep the coins. However now when changing out at the Cambrios, all the give is 50 mil bills. I've been to many and they don't have anything lower.

On a side note I changed out at 3.8 to $1 this morning, nice exchange rate due to I was haggling to get 3.6 last week.

The issue is simple. The girls are getting paid this from the weekend mongers. They get drunk and high and these average girls look like a dime and they give 'them what they want not to hassle.

The game the girls run is pretty simple too..

They're waiting for a big fish going to make them go hurry. I understand if they get a big fish then they don't have to work for another month but looks like they not eating that night. Looks like allot of them weren't eating at all because almost all of them were sucking on loli pops in the club.

I already have a good network of chicas in Cartagena. Been coming here for 5 years and its 5 years of weeding out the bad ones and keeping the good ones. My friend and I wanted 2 new girls that are friends so that they will get along well once we get back to the apartment but that went out the window. We ended up just calling over girls that we had at the same time before, this way they already know each other and know how we operate.

These same girls in the club going for those high prices are 200 K tops in the day, and a few of chicas are understanding that if they can't make it, they ask me if I want their friend. Then there are the jealous ones that only want you with them.
