I have an Air BNB near the walls historical area and can bring guests to and throw as I please. I have 5 days in Cartagena and looking for suggestions from people on recent trips or up to date information.

I have numerous numbers from Photoprepagos and will of course use them. I know where the clock tower is and comfortable going to pick up there if anything looks decent. I know the place LDV but never went in as it was packed full of guys, but could pop my head in if needs be. I know where playa Hollywood is and was offered some young chicas from some young lads in the day but declined out of respect for the western girl I was with from the hostel.

I also have a number and address of Eden massage, if anyone has information on this place would be useful?.
Can you PM me regarding the girl friendly airbnb.

Playa Blanca is a nice beach with turquoise water and nice sand. It's reachable by a short boat ride or a long taxi ride. It's a full day's trip because of the travel time and costs. Weekends are crowded.

I would certainly suggest you go here and look at World traveler 69's map.

    http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/...artagena-Lists

scroll down in Cartagena list until you see World Travel 69 post #491 with the map link.

I'm heading down to cartagena in the first week of October any chance we're going to overlap. I like to fly solo but maybe we can exchange notes, meet up for a drink

Definitely make your way to space bar. All the ladies were hanging out there when the cops came to clear up all the traffic from the clock tower. All the women were just hanging out dancing / twerking, ready to be picked. Also, just making your way in that direction will give you tons of options from the street. They were all good looking. Have fun! Wish I was going too!

"The Sweet Smell Of Plaza de los Coches"

I found this excellently written article on a spanish language website. I assume that the journalist is writing in response to community pressure to not allow the chicas of the night in the plaza. It is written in spanish, my chrome browser translates automatically but otherwise I suggest copying and pasting one paragraph at a time into Google Translator on your laptop or desktop. If it does not become a link here just copy and pasted the URL into the browser window.

Excerpt : "What would it be about the Plaza de los Coches without this handful of Egyptian princesses who visit it every night to be there, standing, as lookouts, firmer than the Clock Tower, as if they were the ones who actually marked the time of the city"

    It happens

This incident happened in Canada I posted it on the Vancouver site. Its worth keeping in mind when you bring a hooker to your apartment for a drink before the real fun starts. I picked up a gorgeous blond I guess about 20-21. We agree to terms and now we are in my apartment having a cold beer to relax. I will skip to the important part. Not long after I made a trip to the head and we are laughing and joking she jumps up and says, you ass hole you switched beers. Now she is stumbling to the door and still screaming what a prick I was for switching the beer. All I could think to say was, HUH if I switched the beers I didn't do it on purpose. As she is trying to get down the 15 or so steps to the parking lot she almost made it but fell flat on her ass on the bottom step. Still trying to scream but now its almost a whisper. She gets up and stagers to a car and gets in on the passengers side and off they go. Man oh man, she had such a perfect ass. Now I'm back in the apartment where spike and I have a long conversation about whose in charge. OK all joking aside this was one of those close calls that I always think about when I bring a hooker to my apartment. Yea I still do that but I have set up many rules that I abide by. Think about it.

In the past (say more than 6-7 years ago) in CTG I have seen girls clearly aged below threshold. I understand that 15 years ago it was a wild world. Now, there is a different and higher sensitivity. In the last years I have almost never seen any girl looking below say 20.
I met a doll looking as colegiala, and she turned out to be 19 from Venezuela. She was the youngest I met last time. Many are veterans, even returning to CTG for a second round.

Reloy has always been full of girls, even 10 years ago. From 11pm to 4am, pussy parade. I was used to start my night quest routine from Reloy, thn move to Elektra after 3 if I was still unaccompanied. Other places were Tu Candela or other that now I lost memory of their name.
I have never been a patron of LDV. Too much gringo-oriented.

    Who remembers Giro Matto??

What changed is the security (Getsemani or even out of the walls were off limits after sunset) and the type of girls. I remember more locals and more Colombians.

Yes. As it was explained to me any non Colombian staying in a tourist establishment needs to present proof of their legal entry. It's just the law.

You want to register everyone. It's for your safety.

Even if their life in Cartagena is less than glamorous it is better to overstay their welcome and have some income. They say "it is better to serve in heaven than to rule in hell" so it must be better to serve in heaven than to rot in hell.

I have my eye on a couple of affordable houses that have private entrances, I just do not yet have vacation time approve in order to know when to make my reservation, and there is a chance that those will get reserved before I can get them, in which case I will definitely be staying again in El Laguito.

Here is an off the wall question though; Would it be a good ideal to as the chica up front to see her Cedula?

P.S. I am assuming that the codeword placement meant that they look like Jailbate?
There is nothing wrong with asking her if she has a Cedula. A more gentle way of approaching it may be to just tell her before you leave that the building you are staying in is strict with girl guests and with Venezuelans. Ask her again if she is there legally or is there going to be a problem when they ask for her identification.

As far as actually seeing it, I don't see the problem with asking to see it but I don't know if she doesn't want to show it to you is only because she is not here legally. She may have privacy concerns that go beyond her visa status.

If you know she is Venezuelan, ask her if she has a passport with a valid stamp and she what she says. Ask her to show it to you.

Tell her you have had problems in the past and want to see it before you go.

I have asked plenty of girls to see their ID and it is only the rare occasion they have an issue with it.

Most of all, you have to run your situation. You decide what you are comfortable with, what you want to see or do before you take her. She either does it or she gets left behind. You are the boss, act like it. If she has such a big issue with showing her ID, you may conclude she has an issue. There are many many girls looking to get picked for a night, would she rather throw away a customer and the money over showing an ID, 99% of the time I would have to say no she won't and she will show it.

Remember that these places asking for an ID and recording the information is a benefit to you and is for your protection as much as it is for the building. Always best to have a record of who she was in case of an issue arising later and it never hurts to have them validate she is of legal age before you do the deed. It is these reasons you should not try to bypass security.

She will also know when you sneak her in that she is there without anyone knowing who she is and that may be an incentive to act up or do something stupid that she would not normally do.

You never know, so why risk your vacation or fun time over a piece of pussy when there are so many others to pick from.

Yes, the codeword replacement was a reference to how old she looks.

The problem is that their passports do not have stamps due to them crossing the border illegally or they over staying the visa.

I think the government is putting pressure on lodging not to accept Venezuelan passports without the proper stamps.

Depending on where you are staying, you could or could not have a problem. Most places in El Liquito don't even bother to register in the girl if build a little rapport with the night security, just walk in and smile and nod and walk like a boss to the elevator. As long as she doesn't look CodeWord903, you should be good to go.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes my first trip was 2010 so that was 9 years ago. Then I returned in 2011 and again in 2013 but have not been back since. I can relate to getting my taxi stopped by police and having my pockets rifled. It gave some anxiety when it happened and as you say they did not search the girl (word to the wise: if you are stupid enough to mess with drugs in Colombia, let the chica carry them).

So I have seen these Youtube videos where there are like 50 chicas plus standing around the clock tower area (Plaza de LOS Coches) and I am blown away because it never saw that when I was there. That is why I asked if these were Venezuelans? Are there several chicas there every night or is it just a weekend thing?

    What is a Stupid

About the "Fixing the Stupid" challenge, someone here must know already the famous "Five Fundamental Laws of Stupidity" theorized by the economist C. M. Cipolla with his essay "Basic Laws of Human Stupidity".

He did a lot of work in his field (economy). This essay is just a half-humorous short text. It is readily available on the web (a PDF of about 25 pages, translated to several languages). However, there is a nice short summary on Wikipedia:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlo_M._Cipolla

We all may have a different concept of "stupidity", not to mention the fact that some others might consider also us as "stupid". Also Wikipedia refers to stupidity as a "controversial subject".

NEVERTHELESS, please note that this essay is a scientific socioeconomic treatise of the subject. Stupidity is defined objectively, not based on personal opinions:

"A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses."

Therefore, classifying someone as "stupid" (according to Cipolla's Laws) is not a plain offense. It's a scientific, objective assessment of a fact.

There is a lot to learn reading that essay! In short, two factors are considered when exploring human behaviour:
    - benefits and losses that an individual causes to him or herself;.
    - benefits and losses that an individual causes to others.
These factors can be placed on a plane diagram divided in four sectors by the two Cartesian axes.
This allows to define objectively 4 categories of humans:

    1) Intelligent people, who contribute to society and who leverage their contributions into reciprocal benefits;

    2) Helpless people, who contribute to society but are taken advantage of by it (and especially by the "bandit" sector of it); note, however, that extreme altruists and pacifists may willingly and consciously (rather than helplessly) accept a place in this category for moral or ethical reasons;

    3) Bandits, who pursue their own self-interest even when doing so poses a net detriment to societal welfare;

    4) Stupid people, whose efforts are counterproductive to both their and others' interests.

    Finally, there are also:

    5) Ineffectual people (center of the diagram).

Each of us will find lots of practical sound examples of all categories, just looking into his / her personal experience among all people we know.

This is the most interesting Law among the five:
    2) The probability that a certain person (will) be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person..

Of course, people from different parts of the world and different culture will do things differently, but that is not the point.
If stupidity is defined as above, then it is amazing to note that the percentage of "stupid" individuals in a group of people is largely independent on any other characteristic, including for example education, social class, richness, kind of job, and of course gender and race!

That means that it does not matter if we look at a group of university professors, technical engineers, accountants, office employees, seamen, factory workers, farmers, black or white, Chinese or white Americans, etc. Etc. We will always find the same percentage of stupid people, anywhere we look at. I think we all can recognize this fact, if we just look around us.

In our present case, "stupid" people are those who overpay a service, without reason and getting no additional service or quality.
    They are "stupid" because:
    1) they spend more money than actually needed indeed (thus, they incur in a personal loss);.
    2) they cause the market price for a service to raise, without a corresponding increase of the quality (thus, they cause a loss to others).

So, here there are the Cipolla's Five Fundamental Laws of Stupidity:
    1) Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.
    2) The probability that a certain person (will) be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.
    3) A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.
    4) Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places and under any circumstances to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.
    5) A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person.

I think we all agree in particular with the 5th Law.

In the past, I was used to find several ones, but Colombian (and no, in most cases they were not looking too young). A couple of times a tip to my portero made him to not insist to require it. Other times, we went to La Haiba.

Now, I guess that Venezuelan without cedula have a simple explanation: they over-extended their stay in Colombia, or entered the country not regularly, or whatever issue related to "illegal" immigration. It is a problem for them, if police stops your taxi while moving to Bocagrande (I think it's a pretty common. It happened to me once over 4 nights, and they were more interested to explore my pockets foro drugs than the girl).

"You can't fix stupid" is the best piece of wisdom! Never forget it.

You cannot convince a stupid, and the more you talk to him the more he will stick to his idea. He will also consider you annoying.
