Just booked a room with Juan Ventura in Laguito for Dec. 18-21. Used to be the rooms were booked solid the week of Christmas with families from Colombia in Cartagena. Is anyone there now? Will the chicas have returned by January 3rd? I hate to keep asking questions but I generally only visit each country once. The action in Costa Rica, Panama, and Mexico was ok but I am really looking forward to the clock tower.

Try February if you want to be sure or end of January. I've honestly never known any of my regular chicas to be in town December or January. This year with COVID it may be different.

It really depends on how close Christmas you are talking about. The closer it gets to Christmas the more the chicas are going to start disappearing and spending more time with family. In normal times Cartagena is Christmas vacation spot for Colombians all over the country but I do not think that will be the case this year.
