What's going on guys?

Making my way back to Colombia in 5 years. It will be my first time in Cartagena. I been to Medellin and Cali quite bit of times. So Cartagena is new to me.

As far as accommodations is concern, Is wall city or old town a good place to stay?? That is close to all regular non pro clubs, restaurants and shopping? How long is a taxi ride to LDV? Are there plenty of strip clubs in old town area?

One of my friend is going to Cartagena mainly for the pros! You think its best for him to stay near LDV in Bocagrande / Laguito?

As previously noted, I was told by locals it is not happening at LDV anymore plus Elektra is closed, probably for good. On my recent trip to CTG, I preferred hanging around Plaza Reloj (Coches) as it was a pretty mellow scene. After 10 pm, the girls start coming. For the most part, the talent is below par that you would find in LDV so you have to be patient and wait or hope for the odd gem. Obviously, more vetting is required and nearby short term hotels are better options unless you know or trust the girl.

Perhaps, LDV will be better as it gets closer to weekend so let us know. If it is dead next weekend, that would speak volumes.

LDV is usually best Wed-Fri. Saturday the girls are out partying usually with guys that they met earlier in the week.

Went to ldv last night and it's dead. Picked up Carolina really nice. But club maybe 10 girls 3 guys place is dead. I was here 3 months ago it was fine. Don't know what happened but it's not good.

As many times as I been to ldv I honestly don't know what there price structure is. I always buy a big bottle of rum and all the mixers come with it. I always tip the 2 guys at door on my way out 10,000 peso each.

The holiday may be the reason it was dead. However, a Colombian acquaintance who lives there told me a few weeks ago that LDV has been experiencing slow business for a while. Maybe their new and greedy price structure (buying X amount of drinks etc.) has finally caught up to them.

No I haven't seen her. She was a great find. I emailed her before my trip but haven't heard back from her. Today beach was packed with family's as usual for a Sunday. Few girls working beach but non interested me. Took nap and walked upto ldv and there was no more then 4 girls in there at 12:50. Never seen it that dead.

Took my nap and headed up to ldv around 11:30. Had made a drink and was finishing it sitting in area outside ldv. Chica approached me her name was Luce daddy (didn't care what she said her name was) she had a nice body offered her 150,000 for a couple hours. She was a great time BBBJ daty kissing a lot of fun. Then I went to bed it's now8:20 am going for a walk.

Got a flight out of ATlantic City spirit to ft lauderdsld and on to Cartagena. I love that flight. 720.00 round trip all big front seats except for 1 exit row.

Smooth sailing got into ctg around 1:40 cabb tide 20,000 to languitto unpacked walked fown said Hello, to tony and my favorite massage girl Luce marina. Great girl no massage till tomorrow. Weather was good but a little overcast. Shopped at Olympics now a nap and I will hit walled city.

I rarely make sense, but I try. I once gave a ctg girlfriend a lot of gifts for her birthday, went through a lot of trouble for her on this one. She responded with "Que poco de regalos". I translated this literally and was a little insulted because I thought she expected more and was insulting me. Later I found out that what she was really saying was "a lot of gifts". Go figure.

Que poco de regalos. Means in Colombia "Muchos Regalos".

"Pocos regalos" Means: Not Many Gifts.

I've never seen a situation like that occur. With the "papaya" mentality of Colombia, I don't think you will either.

Using bastante as a greeting makes no sense at all, doesn't compute. If Andrea was referring to the negotiation with her friend, I think in this case it means the 100 k is enough, but no more. She could have said "sufficiente" but that would have meant the negotiation is open to a little more than 100 k. She was telling you nicely that " dude, pay her the 100 k but don't let her talk you into more". Also because she used that particular word it appears there's a little competition or animosity between those two girls. She's definitely not doing her friend a favor.
