I do not know prices because I do not do WGs, but I would think this spot may get more popular as it is closer to the tourist spots. No one was hassling the women either.

Honestly, having the WGs at the clock tower has to be an eye sore for the city. The clock tower area was an amazing sight at Christmas, and families and children were out in force.

Those girls aren't really new. At night, Bocagrande has always had a working girl scene. It's just more spread out. Even better, a growing number of girls are renting rooms down there to make it even more accessible. In Laguito, Hollywood Beach Suites and a few others must have opened their doors to the trade because you'll see ladies advertising in calls there. And it makes a lot of sense. Tourists do not want to go to Pie de la Popa or Campestre where they stick out. It's a lot more safe and convenient. Very smart by the ladies.

I decided to pull the trigger and book a trip for middle of April. Tickets from south Florida have not dropped below 500 $ direct flight. Gone are the 250-350 days 😭128557;. Luckily the apartment stays the same price.

Already let my regular know the dates so she can arrange to be there from Medellin herself.

Hope the peso doesn't go down any further. That closer to 5 k was looking nice. I am looking forward to it! Almost a full year since I was there.

Beach: I don't remember the exact price quoted but it was 200+/ HR. As recommended in ISG, found Tony. You can ask for Tony, or there is a chair that says 'Tony' on the back. Tony is slightly better than other pimps around.

Clock tower: The street walker marker starts after tourist leaves, like 8 pm or later. 50-100 girls. But all were quoting high prices, like 500/ HR. The cops starts to move away the market like around midnight, and in 1 HR everyone leaves the place. Both girls, and tourists. Even towards the end, the girls were still quoting high price. I got one girl's number and negotiated for 100/ HR for next day daytime through WhatsApp. I guess that's the best strategy to get value for session, if you are looking at 100/ HR. I left Cartagena soon, since Barranquilla is just 2 hrs away and offers good value at 100/ HR.

First time in the walled city. Intermediate Spanish. Been to Medellin and Bogota plenty.

Stayed in an rental in Boca Grande. Probably should have stayed in Gensemani if I could find a quiet place.

Piggy backing on Breeders report, I did a lot of the same. I talked to a number of chicas around the clock tower and most were pretty cold and didn't have much personality. I preferred to be in a bar or restaurant doing work.

Delirium and Dolce Vita were two of the same for me. Lots of beautiful women. Not big clubs at all. Not much smiling. Mostly on their phones and drinking cups of water. Tons and I mean tons of plastic booty and tetas. Not my thing.

Had the best night at Space club. Definitely more urban. Do not run up a tab there, always pay as you go. Took a chica home from there and we didn't even discuss money. $50. She came and saw me on my last night with me clearly telling her I wasnt looking to have company. Freebie.

Tinder was super hit and miss but after a lot of work I found a normal civilian and we headed off to the islands for a few days. Zero money given but of course I paid for pretty much everything. So there is still hope but I would say 15/20 chicas I talked to just vanished or stopped responding. They are looking for that quick $100-$200 sucker.

I never made it to the following but I am sure one of you fine gents will and report back.

Just back from 2 weeks in Cartagena, my first ever trip there or to Colombia at all for that matter. I read a lot of posts in this forum and picked up some useful info before I got there, so hopefully I can give something back by sharing my own experience.

First let's talk about the elephant in the room, the drugging / robbery that seems to be rampant here. Being aware of the risks I took certain precautions with regards to location of my valuables and consumption (or not) of food / drink in the presence of girls. I'm fortunate in the sense that I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to this hobby of ours. I don't really drink alcohol, never do drugs and I'm not really into clubbing. I'm also not really looking for any kind of girlfriend experience. I just get straight down to business and when the job is done I don't tend to hang around. Finally, I travel solo and stick to one girl at a time, and I wouldn't be into any kind of group activity. I think all of these factors make me a somewhat difficult target, although I'm fully aware that nothing is impossible and I decided that I would take a calculated risk. I'm glad to say that all went well and no horror stories to report..

I appreciate the report and move the same way, with the exception of partying a bit. I do love to party. Having said, I'm heading out there for 8 days in late April for the first time. I speak intermediate Spanish. Can you advise on the prices you paid roughly? In terms of accommodation, I already found a suitable place having used this forum as a guide.

Looks like you have the game down. 99% of the cases where the guys got drugged and or robbed, they were trying to hang out or party with chicks instead of just fuck them. Way to stay focused.

Weird, I was living in Cartagena for 2-3 months and visited Androgeno plenty of times for an after party, never seen nothing shady like this going on, there is usually 100+ people in the place, this guy must of been resisting hard to paying the bill and maybe in a drugged state, I had issues like this in Mexican strip clubs, where they would overcharge your card without you even noticing and then ID just call the card company and reverse the whole charge, haha.

In February I'll be back in Cartagena for the first time since 2006, looking forward to seeing what's changed.

Reading these threads it seems a lot. A few of my old haunts still seem to be there but I've a feeling the vibe has been changed for the worse by all the new tourism.

OK now that's out the way let's talk about my experiences. First stop for me was Delirium. I'd heard a lot about this place and I wanted to check it out for myself. It's definitely more of a hip hop vibe, which wouldn't bother me. But I didn't like this place simply because I wasn't into any of the girls in there (although it should be noted that I'm very particular about what I like). On the plus side, there was always a good number of girls in there. If you like that kind of vibe and the women it attracts, this would probably be a good place to try.

Next up Space. This place was slightly better for me. Music was more my type and there were one or two girls that I liked in there, although it seemed to have less girls than the other places I went to.

Finally La Dolce Vita. This was my favourite of the three I frequented. Great music, lots of girls and the layout of the place suits me as I like to stand more than sit and there are plenty of spots where you can stand without feeling awkward.

I also spent a good bit of time around the Clock Tower (excuse the pun). I actually prefer to do this than even go inside a club. It's way more efficient for someone like me, who just wants to pick a girl and whisk her away immediately. The only issue is that in general its the less hot ones who are prepared to stand in the street all night. On the plus side, there is more opportunity to haggle with them and they are more likely to agree to any additional services you may require.

The thing I liked most about Cartagena is that even the girls who mostly go to the bars will usually spend some time walking around the streets in Centro. So the whole area is like one giant brothel after 10 pm. If she looks like a hooker she almost certainly is a hooker so all you need to do is go and say Hi and take it from there. You wouldn't even have to set foot in a bar if you were so inclined.

I'm glad I didn't have to waste too much time on the online thing. I did create an account on Tinder and Colombian Cupid, and even searched a few times on Facebook, but nothing ever came of any of my efforts. I'm probably just not suited to that sort of approach despite being relatively tech savvy. But when it comes to women I like to see with my own eyes what's on offer before I even engage with them, I just find it saves time and effort. Maybe online works well for others but it's definitely not for me.

Overall I had an amazing trip. Cartagena just suits me to the ground (the sun and the sea) and I'll most likely be visiting again around the same time next year. It should be noted that I've visited a number of countries in Latin America and I speak fluent Spanish which helps a lot although I'm sure you could get by without it.

I want to finish by saying thanks to the people who have previously shared their experiences here, the info I got here helped a lot in my preparation for what was one of the best holidays I've had in many years.

I was was there in October and had no problems.

Inside was 3 gringos and 25 employees.

We were prime candidates for a easy robbery.
