However, I am the one who reported nice times spent at the casa of "Carmen" in Alcibia. Anyone here know the place and know what happened to her? Her phone is not working since 3-4 years. Maybe she changed number, maybe she's not hosting girls at her home anymore. I promised myself to go there on foot to check the place in the last years, but I never did. Yes. I do not remember the color of the wall outside, because I always went there at night, but you cannot go wrong. The name is "Quebracho Parrilla Argentina", it is in Calle Baloco (Google Maps gives Cl. 33, but taxi drivers know the traditional name).

Calle Baloco is the same calle of La Vitrola, which is maybe the most overpriced restaurant in Cartagena (many girls self-assessing as top girls will suggest you to take them there), good, classy, but really not worth the price. When you take a taxi, tell him "Calle Baloco", and add to leave you near La Vitrola. Walk 50 meters and you are at Quebracho.

As you read in my past posts, linked in my most recent post you liked, at one block you find Cuzco, which is my favourite restaurant for dinner in Cartagena. It's a extremely good, classy, and priced correctly. In all my stays in Cartagena, lasting 4-5 days, I was used to go to Cuzco 2 or 3 times! Search my name and "Cuzco" in this thread for details. Yippie, yes I totally agree that in person is better than online. Since I'm a newcomer here I thought it would be prudent to try all possibilities. Tinder was $30 for the month so if I did meet some nice woman it would be definitely worth it. I subscribed to Tinder last night to see how that would be in Cartagena Colombia because one of the girls I met told me that she met most of the guys on that site. I've been to Cartagena for many many years and let me give you a good piece of advise. Stop looking online. Go meet them in person. They are on the beaches. They are in the old city at night. As you say, Riquisimo is not bad, but just ok. No way I would waste my dinner reward there (for me a relaxing dinner in a good place is the reward of the day, and anticipates the thrill of the unknown future of the night).

I am surprised that on ISG many members report it as the place to go, as one of the best places to go to eat in CTG. Years ago, I was used to say to my local friends that Riquisimo was a place patronized mainly by "gringos y putas". All ISG members, maybe.

On the other hand, Carbon De Palo is much better! I recommend it for dinner, if one wants to stay in Bocagrande and is too lazy to move to Centro. The ambient and dishes are of an upper category vs. Riquisimo. Good meat on charcoal grill. Yet, definitely not a place I miss when in my country I dream about old times in CTG.

You should negotiate knowing fully well you are still going to pay the gringo price. Talking to few people will get you an idea about the approximate price. Do not make her uncomfortable asking her to negotiate for everything.

Only real girlfriend will do that. My Chinese GF negotiated everything when we were together and toured everywhere. She also knew to go to the airport and get the cheapest price at the check in counter rather than booking ahead. Many a time they upgraded us.

I do not know if you will be successful in finding a fun girl who is non pro. It is not Thailand or Philippines. Better to meet and stay together couple of days before taking any trips together. Unless there is mutual love it will be boring.
