Whatever happened to the casa that was a bit out of town? I went there once. Wow was something I hadn't been to before. Taxi pulled up. Few people standing outside. Little like quickie mart across the street on the corner. Walk in. Guy behind like metal caged wall taking the $. Had menu for the beers I think. Had trouble breaking like 50 or something hahahah. Sit at a little plastic table. Other guys together. All locals. Girls sitting in a row on a bench. Signaled to one and she came over. Quick talk. Went to her little room. Was a mattress on floor. Her suitcase. A washroom between her and another similar room. Wam bam. Go back out and have more beers like. I thing happened. Casa Maria or something.

I only out when it started because I was already researching travel requirements. Which in this day and age you should.

I've been reading and watching some videos lately claiming after getting off the plane it took 1-2 hours to go through!? On a Wednesday or Thursday even.

Yup this happened to me back in September. I thought it was because of Covid restrictions. I had to wait over an hour in the line.

Also, have a worker that makes sure only people with all their ducks in a row can get in line.

Whenever I am in a line I always think there should be one line for people that have their shit together and another line for people that do not know what the fuck they are doing.

Coming to Colombia from Orlando is often a nightmare because the Spirit folks allow people to get in the bag drop line without Checkmig and when they get to the counter also allow them and even sometimes help them fill it out at the counter while others that came prepared have to wait it out in line until they finish. This wasted time is a nightmare because after finally dropping off your bags, you might have to wait in another line for 45 minutes to get through security and then have to catch a train before you can get to your gate so any wasted time can be stressful.

Let me add that this isn't only a Checkmig issue. Sometimes, the Colombia folks are in the same line with people going to Punta Cana or some other destination that requires forms to be filled out and the same thing happens. Spirit should send out better instructions that inform people that certain things need to be done before even coming to the airport in clear and direct instructions, not links. Also, have a worker that makes sure only people with all their ducks in a row can get in line.

At JFK JetBlue will not let anyone drop their bag without showing them the CheckMIGnis filled out. If it isn't they will tell you leave the line and fill it out while they attend to the next person. Then once getting to the gate they force everyone to get a printed boarding pass who don't have one (utterly useless and time wasting because you have to stand on line again) then they check if CheckMIG is filled out and put a star or smiley face on the boarding pass. This is where the ones who only travel via carry on or the ones who get basic Blue seats that does not allow them to bring a carry on get blindsided and claim they don't know they had to fill out the form which holds up everyone else whose trying to get a printed pass for a stupid smiley face.

The CheckMiG form is one of the main things that screw things up coming into Colombia. It is not hard to send it to them on the internet but as you said a lot of idiots don't do their homework and cause delays. Also I don't understand why these idiots don't have their hotel info on hand as they will need it as they get into a taxi. One more rant most likely these are the ones who put their carry on bag side ways instead of straight in the bin. OK no mas.

I had the same problem coming in on a Sunday and leaving on a Sunday.

Most of the problems were due to having a Sprit plane landing in front of my plane and most of them did not have their documents ready. They didn't know the address or phone number of the place they were staying and took forever to search through their phone to get the info. This was mostly these all women travel groups doing this on arrival, men were breezing through with ease.

On the way out it was even more delay because many people didn't have CheckMiG filled out and when they approached the Migracion booth they turned them around to go back out and complete it. Another downside was there was only 3 of the 10 booths open to handle both foreigners and nationals.

They are all talking about it and one of my chicas said allot of Colombians seen the video and are not to happy with Black Americans because of it. I told her they can not judge all of us because one black guy does something stupid the same way we don't judge all Colombianas when when one of the girls drugs and robs us. The response I got was "claro, entiendo, claro" so she gets it.

IMO, Colombians folks, especially in tourists areas, and especially working girls, are on the paper chase and won't turn down money so I never saw that aspect as a real issue in the mongering game.

I rented a good ocean view condo in Boca Grande for 5 nights for under $100 a night on Airbnb. Security was good, but not excessive. There seemed to be a lot of short term renters and empty condos. The beaches were empty.

At 6 pm the cops come and kicks everyone off the beaches. Beach days are usually Sundays and you want to get there around noon, that's where you can shop all day long. Kiosk #4 is where you want to be but its closer to where Boca Grande Meets El Laguito.

When I stayed at the Pamelleto Sunset (don't ever do this, don't be me, don't stay here) I've woken up at 10 am and can see people at Playa Hollywood in the water playing.

I primarily use Seeking. It did not work so well in Cartagena. I had planned to take a Medellin girl with me, but her mother came to visit just as we were supposed to leave. Several girls supposedly in Cartagena we're actually in Barranquilla, Santa Marta, or Medellin. Although some of the girls pleaded poverty, the asks were mostly quite high $300 to $500. No way that I would pay that. The Cruiseship and crazy gringos throwing too much money around appear to have ruined Cartagena. No girl the first night. The next night I found a cute 21 year old college girl new to Seeking (I usually look for newer girls) for 300,000 Cop, all night. She was a lot of fun and I kept her three nights. She claimed I was her first older man. After telling a dozen overpriced Seeking girls that I was taking my money and my penis back to Medellin, I suddenly had four eager to meet girls for 300 to 400 mil Cop. I picked one. Of course, she did not show up. I contacted another and she came right over, but for 500 mil. She was attractive, but a disappointing performer. A few other thoughts about Cartagena: Too many street vendors, touts, and beggars; expensive unmetered taxis, too much gringo pricing; lots of good food at reasonable prices; and beaches are not anything special.

Wait until you try to get with that same girl again. I had something similar where I met a girl in Dolce on her first night working and I got her for 500 K all night no complains. I took her for 4 consecutive nights at 500 K no problems and she was great. 4 months later I came back and reached out to her and she wanted 800 K a night. When I asked her what changed she said she now knows her worth because she's been talking to the other Dolce girls. The longer these girls work the more they talk to each other and set a minimum price.

When I was just there a too many of my chicas were flown out by mongers to other areas. 3 of my chicas had mongers fly them into Medellin for the weekend which made no sense to me because Medellin is supposed to be cheaper so why fly a Cartagena chica there, the reverse would make more sense.

It is a much better strategy to take seeking women from Medellin or especially Bogota to Cartagena or some sunny spot. Cartagena is like Miami or NYC and the prices will always be higher. To be fair though, the rents in Cartagena and other living costs are higher too.

The seeking women I met in Barranquilla were great, but there were not that many of them. The one seeking woman I met in Cartagena was a beauty queen, and she was hot but cocky as shit. Any amount was not enough for her.

I actually think the women in Bogota are nicer than Medellin and the women there are all looking to get out of the cold and dark of Bogota. I cannot recall any of them not thrilled with the offer of a trip to a place like San Andreas, Santa Marta, or Cartagena, and the cool part is the plane tickets in Colombia, even last minute ones, are dirt cheap. I liked Santa Marta a lot better than Cartagena. Not enough Seeking girls in Santa Marta; lots of now shows.
