I spend most of my trips in the DR (love It). Going to give Carte a run for my money. I am a big fan of Sosua but the quality is not what it once was. How would you guys rate the talent as compared to Sosua.

All these years me and Old Kool have been arguing back and forth; me saying how Sosua has gone way down hill and him saying it is the best thing since sliced bread. I have always said that you believe that because you have not been other places and you did not see how Sosua was before you started going. Now seems he is getting the picture saying the quality is not what it once was. If he had seen the quality and prices when I started going then he would have left that place alone a long time ago.

That said, my first time to Cartagena I was amazed at how much more expensive the place is in comparison to the rest of the country. That is for girls, accommodation, and anything else. Not to mention all the sharks out for blood from tourists.

This is the place I stay in in Bogota for $30/ night with free breakfast. My first time in Cartagena I was staying in some rinky dink hotel with old classroom furniture for $80.

That is why you get generic. It is cheap. I was in a pharmacy in Santa Marta and the pharmacist said Durax was buy one box get one free. It was nowhere near the price on this ad. It was like $25 for a box of 28 plus a free box of 28. I sell them for $10 each so I made a nice profit.

Yes you can purchase those pills over the counter at the pharmacies. Don't forget to check out the Daytime Action at Hollywood Beach in Bocagrande. IMO the girls in Cartagena are better than the girls in Sosua by sheer numbers, variety, looks and service.

Talent is subjective. In my view I find 1 in 20 working girls in Sosua reasonably attractive (most of those attractive fall into 5 to 6 on my imaginary scale). If you want a good currency rate exchange head to the Cambrio next to El Bar tico in Getsemeni. There are 3 of them. Check each one, the ones in Centro will give you a little less, just a little.

Its hard to avoid the Clock tower scene when in Cartagena. I usually go at night by myself and get numbers. Theres alot of corrupt cops, drugs and petty criminals so stay off the radar.
