Clock tower square.

The square was not as crowded with chicas as in past visits even at prime time from 11 pm to 3 am. We saw groups of cops, perhaps checking for undocumented Venezuelans, that may have something to do with it. The street leading from clock tower square to LDV had plenty of chicas walking up and down. On the street we were quoted 150,000 to 200,000 COP by a couple of chicas.

La Dolce Vita (LDV) Carrera 6 #35-18.

Freelance bar. We were impressed by quantity and quality of girls all week long. I would estimate 50 to 100 chicas. Early in the week there were fewer guys, and by Friday it was closer to 50/50. Many chicas are opening with 150 US $ for one hour, which seems to be the current union rate or at least opening offer in LDV. Some ask as much as 300 US $. Some will take less but 200,000 COP seemed to be the minimum.

Space Carrera 6 # 35-20?

Next door to LDV and up the stairs is Space disco. Fewer girls than LDV early in the week, but also packed with chicas by Thursday and Friday. Prices here seem highly variable, similar to LDV.

Isis Carrera 6 #35-73.

One block further after LDV and Space is Isis strip club. This is a small place, and early in the week we saw only about 10 girls working there. They were asking 180,000 COP for a private room lap dance, and a 400,000 COP combination bar fine and fee for girl to come to your place, for an hour (The stage show was very intermittent. One or two dancers per hour get on stage and do a 2-song strip show. Quality was not that impressive. Not a good value.

Pleyclub Diagonal 21 (Avenida El Bosque) #48-08.

Although google maps says it is permanently closed I can report it is definitely open as of October. This strip club is about a 20-minute cab ride from clock tower in the Bosque neighborhood along the harbor. (we paid 25 K pesos although I see on the official rate sheet to Bosque from Centro should be 8700, perhaps 10 K with small tip) It's like a smaller version of Luna Lunera in Medellin, with about 15 tables and a small stage. The chicas apparently live there. Prices were 400,000 COP for a half-hour session on site or 700,000 COP for 4 hours off-site. Crazy prices. About 15 mostly very attractive girls from all over Colombia. Prices were too high for us.

I was handed a card for this new strip club while outside of LDV. Cab driver confirmed it was new and open, said it was mostly Venezuelans. We did not go there. The card said there was a cowgirl show and a lesbian show.

Tinder.

Several chicas we met at Dolce Vita or in the square mentioned that they work Tinder, so I checked it out. Sure enough when you see a profile with some sexy photos and get a match send them an "hola," and most will message you with their hourly rate. This seemed a fruitful way to get girls during the day, along with the escort web sites like photoprepagos and numbers collected from chicas at night. Two Tinder girls offered me 170,000 COP and 250,000 COP. One showed up and turned out fine.

When I was there a few years ago, where I stayed was a good spot.

Times have changed.

Being near the clock tower is most likely the best.

My buddy picked a few from there.

But, at that time Christmas time was not good.

The chicas go stay with family and or their kids.

Now, with Venezuela in turmoil, it might good.

I liked Cartagena, but it was too expensive for pussy. The rest of the country is half the price.

It was hard to find in the day time, it is all night time city, most of the better clubs are not close each other and in the city.

New to the site and fairly new to the hobby. Been going to Cuba (its muy bueno) and HK Club (live in SD) for the last 2 years or so. I'm going to Cartagena 1/21-1/29. Have learned a lot of very useful stuff from the crew here. A question: when not having hot Latina sex or looking for it, what does anybody recommend for daytime tourist type activities. I enjoy the beach and ocean and especially want to do some snorkeling. Also what's the best way to get cash there? Anybody else going to be there then?

What you want to do about the snorkeling thing is look for day boat trips out to Rosario islands or somewhere like that, not going to mention other web sites because that is taboo on here but there are websites with trip advise, and if you simply do a web search on a search engine "snorkeling cartagena Colombia" you can find gobs of tour companies.

Other than that do not forget that Playa Hollywood is where you can see the prepagos walking around in bikinis, and then if you get an itch you can take one to your apartment, daytime rates are usually lower than nights.

Most people just get cash from an ATM. Always make sure your bank is alerted to your travel. Take two ATM cards if you have them. I have had my ATM card shut down by my bank once when I used it in Colombia, I think that they are better now if you alert them first.

Great I'm staying in one of those new towers on the beach right next to Hollywood! Got it cleared with the manager that guests are allowed but they need to sign in with ID and get out by 4 am which is fine by me.

Anybody have experience with short term love motels to bring girls to in cartagena?

I see Las Velas de Augustine 18 k and hotel porvenir 40 k for 2 hrs; any experience with either of these or does anybody know of any other options?

Don't worry about finding a Love Motel. The girls know them all, and just go with that.
