I have been keeping in touch with the folks I know down in Cartagena. Some things I have been hearing. Keep in mind this is only what I'm told. It may not be 100% accurate:

    * Evidently there is some talk suggesting beaches may open in November. I don't know how likely this is but my tout is excited (the poor fucker).

    * Most of the Venezuelans chicas have left. I only communicate now with one who had her phone taken by her landlord (a common thing when they can't make rent). She uses her friends phone and lives with a bunch of other Venezuelans who are trying to stick it out.

    * Many and I mean MANY businesses have shut forever. Many clubs and restaurants are gone for good. Youtube "nadia cartagena" and look at her channel. It's a lady there that's been documenting the carnage to the tourist industry during this pandemic. She interviews many of the (former) business owners. Business owners who have been there for decades have had to shut down permanently.

    * Earlier today a friend (non-mongering) mentioned that Cartagena had its deadliest day today recording more COVID related deaths than ever.

I doubt we're going back this year, even in November. I don't believe it's going to be safe. I doubt you'll find many chicas but I am sure some will be around, especially the local Colombians. I wish I had better news but things are shaping up exactly the way I expected them too. It will be several years for "normal" to be back and places like Cartagena will change forever.

The USA has just dropped the 14 day quarantine for all international travelers.

There is the possibility of fast PCR tests at the border to lower the 14-day period, but there at least two issues: 1) the availability of enough tests for the expected number of people crossing the borders 2) the need of repeating the test after few days, with the attached burden to trace all people and chase them for the 2nd test.

I know some troll on other Colombia threads questioned the real usefulness of blocking travels in order to control virus spreading (or pretended to not understand), but I will just mention that person mobility is a key parameter in any epidemic model: if persons never move, spreading is nearly ZERO, as infection happens only between persons in close proximity, but their position never changes. If a government does not opt for local lockdown, at least they can block moving across borders. It's something, also when the epidemic is already rampant locally.

I thought about that many times, but La Costa is not really the place for that.

There are several, not many, in Medellin and Bogota, but nothing compared to vicious Europe!

I highly reccomend using PP, TNdr, FB, Millerotico or some other social media source if you want a bigger chance of finishing fetishes. This way you you can scout out whatever your heart desires. Leaving it to chance that you will be in the same place at the same time of your specific type you want is lowering the odds that you see it. You could be at club Space and she could be next door or working via social media only. Also I know a lot of Milfs don't even go to the clubs because that's a fetish. And being a fetish and not the highest sought after can translate to wasted time and money for them. There is a norm in the clubs and a lot of similarity amongst the girls. Obviously there will be standouts but they literally standout. I've gone enough times to consider myself a regular there. Every 3 months for 2 years. I always recommend newcomers with a fetish Pregame all your fetish girls before your trip and use the clubs as a filler in the night when you want to see what patches you cross. Photo of a big ass I enjoyed recently. It was breathtaking from the back and I could feel her abs from the front. I prefer this type also and they were available. In Medellin I see it more though but obviously found it with minimal work in Cartagena.

    Can you please elaborate

I don't mind dying 10-20 years earlier if I will be able to live a good life until then.

Do you know the recovery rate from death?

Do you know the long term effect of having had the virus at all? And one does. Consider Chicken Pox, herpes zoster. Lays dormant in the body for 40 years the reappears as shingles. Ouch.

While personally you may not be impacted, you will carry the society cost of so many people having poor health, lost mothers, lost fathers, lost grandparents, lost knowledge.

To consider the death rate is such a small part of the required analysis.
Actually, it seems more as if it may shave off a few years of the life expectancy. I don't mind dying 10-20 years earlier if I will be able to live a good life until then. People under 50 are extremely unlikely to die because of Covid-19. Good enough for me, I'm more afraid of the economic turmoil.

    I stand corrected.

    You're both right.

It is the end of the world.

Thank you for your wisdom and knowledge.

P.S. . This was at the tail end of the article concerning Covid deaths in Colombia yesterday:

"Friday's 21 deaths occurred in Bogota, Tumaco, Mosquera, Cali, Barranquilla and Leticia. Bogota accounted for two of the victims. All fatalities suffered from pre-existing medical conditions, among them, cancer, hypothyroidism, diabetes and cardio-respiratory failure".

We all know who this virus affects most. It's sad when anyone dies, from this virus or from whatever cause of death.

Yes, it's a very contagious, and potentially dangerous virus for some, however, it's not the end of the world.
