Yesterday, I checked the AIR BNB site and noticed several reasonably priced and attractive units in the Manga area. I also noticed that under House Rules, several of them did not ban guests/visitors Make sure anyone contemplating an Air BNB rental to review this section. That being said, I was not familiar with this barrio and noticed it's a bit further out from Getsemani so I guess a taxi is the best way to get back from the plaza later in the evening.

It does seem too far to walk with a P4P in tow. What is this barrio like overall? Does it have the appearance and vibe of El Centro and do a lot of local people still live here? Are there any decent restaurants or bars there?

Have you ever heard of Google earth before? Some of you guys have to think for yourselves sometimes. A lot of questions in this forum are not necessary. A little research goes a long way!

Was in CTG last week for 9 days. Everything is pretty normal in Centro. Lots of chicas by the Clock Tower, but I was wifed up with a calea and didn't partake. Getting the negative COVID test to return back to the US was a breeze. Huge thanks to the gents who posted testing sites here.

I really suggest more guys use the AirBnBs in Manga. Most of them don't have doormen and it is still so close to Centro (8 mil pesos). I did it for a few months last year and I had chicas running in and out with zero hassle. Will definitely return in May.

Nicely done man, I also prefer the AirBnBs with no doorman when I'm in MDE. Just a lockbox and I'm in, no BS rules about no parties or mult girls at a time. It's not for everyone, you must a vet and not someone who use drugs or get too drunk otherwise bringing 2-4 chicas at a time can be a nightmare, and no doorman / security guard to help.

I'm looking at June / July for Cartagena right now.

Simple case of not being able to read minds. She thought that you knew you would have to give her more money than you did. Since you did not read her mind and do that, then she didn't show the next time.

So true that, and a perfect example of how well these chicas can put on the act. She figured you will know to pay her, and when you didn't it was a waste of time the next day. Some are up front and others even don't like to talk about it but expect. I personally prefer to have the dialogue ahead of time.

It's a bar but it is not the same class as Gusto. It's small, can get very packed. I don't know how people can stay in the bar when it is packed.

Yep. Just like it. Even though Cartagena is more expensive, the chicks in LDV won't start you off at $300 like chicks in Gusto's will.

On Saturday woman I met on SA came over. I thought we had a great time and she seemed to enjoy herself. We made plans to meet on Sunday. I only gave her Taxi money as she didn't ask for any money. However for some reason she flaked on me on Sunday.

You don't need to negotiate, just make an offer 150 k-200 k is more than enough. 90% of the chicas will take it.

Ended up 300 mill each for 2 to 3 hours. Game on! Turned out they were both from Venezuela. Instead of their hotel we went to my apartment. We had a great time. After three hours curfew had passed. I asked if they would stay until later in the morning and how much it would cost. They told me 400 mill each. I negotiated down to 400 for both of them.

Nice report my dude and glad your having fun. Try to negotiate sir. You definitely overpaid. Those hunnies around the clock tower usually will settle for 200-300 k all night, heck I've had some take less, like would agree for 150 k for an HR or two and end up staying cause we're drinking and having fun. Especially if late since they know they won't get anyone else. Never pay the immediate asking price, they will try you to see if you know going rates. It's obviously not an honest business and no honor or pride in it, hence you need to do your part or they'll take advantage. Yes we're all from the states and we all have dollars, but those precaution believe it or not are for safety too, and other obvious things like messing it up for the next dude LOL. Now those two vennies will walk away when I low ball, or they'll call you first before accept mine LOL.

Instead of paying 1 Million total for both, you could've paid 500 k total for both easily. Also when you make a deal for all night, be sure to confirm what time they will leave, and if they leave early, deduct from the amt. Don't be a target for being an easy gringo.

Nice report Quim. Very informative and well written. I have been to Cartagena several times but not recently. I have stayed in hotels and AIR properties so interested in how you found your apartment. It appears from your description that it was private access and you had no issues taking chicas back, obviously since you arranged an all night threesome. My last stay I had an AIR apartment on Calle Moneda only a few blocks from the plaza but other times I have stayed elsewhere. My other last visit, I also recall that I stayed in Getesemani but that was too far a distance from the main plaza action.

For my next potential trip during this upcoming June, it's possible that I may be able to stay with a friend at the Hotel Santa Clara, probably the most upscale hotel in El Centro, where he has reserved a double suite. However, as we both are fully aware, there are no visitors allowed here and they are quite strict about this rule. Several years ago, I went with chicas on more than one occasion from the plaza to a cheap short term hotel, which was of the poorest quality imaginable with barely any running water and dingy as can be. I think it was called the Tropicana. Ironic to have a very nice place to stay but have to resort to doing the deed at a dump. On another visit, I stayed at a halfway decent place only a few minutes from the plaza but can't find it on Google maps now. I believe it was at one time called either Mar why Playa or the Indio or something close to those names but they had to change the latter as the name was too close to another nicer hotel in ElCentro. It was one flight up from the street and had several interior rooms with an additional two rooms with small balcons overlooking the Calle. I know sometimes that chicas used this hotel for short term romps judging by what I used to see in the hallways of the hotel..

I spent about half a day researching Airbnb. Originally wanted to stay overlooking the beach. Found this place by accident. I always checked visitor policy under rules of the house. If not mentioned, I would message the owner asking specifically if I could bring guests. And telling them that I won't have parties. Interesting enough this owner said no problem with visitors, but after booking a note was made no visitors. I made a copy and also bookmarked his msg say visitors were ok. It's been absolutely no problem. It's in a building with many other units. The guard leaves nightly at 9 pm and is off on Sundays. I have my own keys to the building. When my SA girl showed up the guard took her temp and sanitize her hands. No asking for ID. He's been very friendly. I believe that timekeeper 4444 mentioned the same building but different apartment in a previous posting.

Is this apartment an AiR unit where you are staying? I was thinking of finding a cheap hotel for short term assignations for my friend and I, which both of us can use but unclear if these establishments still exist in El Centro?

I want to think all the guys who contributed to this form. The reports and comments you've contributed have been helpful in planning my trip. This is my second trip. Though I really consider it my first. I was here in March 2020 had planned to stay for a month, however as soon as I saw that the virus had arrived in Columbia I left. I only spent two days at that time. I arrived on Friday and had the same experience going through immigration as Ktsrf. Prior to arriving I was stopped and had my documents checked three times. So under normal circumstances I would've been pissed having to wait because so many people did not have their documents available. However I was very excited to have arrived.

Because of my work and travel time I hadn't had any sleep for almost 30 hours. That's a long time for this old man. So once I got settled in the apartment I rented I plan to take a nap for a couple hours. Unfortunately couple hours lasted into all night and when I woke up it was 3 AM too late to go out.

After she left at midnight I decided I would go to the clock tower which is only a two minute walk from where I'm staying. Soon as I stepped out of the building where I'm staying there was a very large group of people running and yelling coming up the street. Looks like a riot. Once they passed me I started walking, but then they suddenly turned around and ran really fast. Evidently they got into some big fight with someone who was injured seriously. They rounded the corner and stopped at delirium. Didn't think it was safe to walk past them. So I stayed a block away watching the action. It took the police about 20 minutes to show up. Then took them a little while to clear the area. So I finally made it to the clock tower. Walked around a bit saw a couple good looking ladies, however having just had my brains screwed out and thinking I was going to have a repeat session later that morning I did not partake. However for some reason she flaked on me on Sunday.

I had a good dinner at Buena Vida Marisqueria. I went there wanting to sit on the rooftop however because I didn't have a reservation I got a table on the ground floor. Wasn't very crowded and sitting near me were two very beautiful young ladies. Dressed very fashionably. The one facing me has beautiful legs I couldn't stop myself from taking long stares at her. After doing a couple of a walk arounds I just stood in one spot. After about 10 minutes beautiful woman approached me. Now I don't speak any Spanish, and she didn't speak any English. Have a translating app worked great. After we chatted for a bit her friend came over and they asked me if I wanted to take them to their hotel. Ended up 300 mill each for 2 to 3 hours. Game on! It appears that even during curfew you can call a taxi to take you to wherever you want to go. They wanted to go to a party. They kept on calling me their boyfriend and that they were my girlfriends. After they left kept on messaging me through WhatsApp to remind me how much they loved me and what a good time we had.

When I woke up this morning the apartment was a mess. This place has over a dozen towels, every single one was used. Beer and whiskey bottles, food trays all over the place. Took me an hour and a half to clean up. Now I'm going to have to find a laundry to wash everything.

Can't wait to see what adventure awaits me today.
