Only at one point this week did I have to escalate. The problem right now is there are so many incoming jinteros from so many directions at the Clock Tower no matter what your approach is if you're a single gringo it's not going to be a relaxing situation.....

Guys let me say it again, I can't be more simple and straight than this, look at these punks and after one firm "no thank you, no gracias" after their next blah blah blah say "fuck you you maricon stop molesting me your fucking pervert", then if they continue yell it at them, this is the ONLY thing that works.

Just yesterday I was in centro Medellin, the strip clubs, the Vera, Botero plaza, the bars, and my rule applies, after one no thank you don't fuck with this gringo.

When will you all learn that this is the only way to handle these jack asses. They will have zero respect for you if your meek and kind and polite, fuck that shit!

Okay here is the skinny from locals. Tony doesn't have any chairs (or a few at best) at all he just acts as the middleman by hustling and intimidating. There was a set rate that they are supposed to charge for the chairs. He will spot mongers and upsell you on the drinks also don't buy him more than a beer, and then he will just keep on pestering you for money all day. Thats how he operates.

Tony flourishes because he speaks better English than most of them which isn't saying much
so stick with one of the other guys like Oscar right from the beginning. Do not let Tony get you a chair. He will claim you and ride you like a Cuban jintero. He got mucho pissed off when I dumped him yesterday

Just an update on the clock tower scene Thursdays and Fridays and curfew is 2 am Rest of the days is 12:00 pm Action starts earlier than it used to in fact at 9:00 the girl started coming around. But it's almost unbearable as far as the number of jockeys coming around to try to sell you stuff, like incoming every few seconds or minutes at least. So it takes a little energy to firmly fight them off. Can't hesitate with your no. If you look them in the eye or hesitate slightly they will latch on to you.

At times itwas almost unbearable but I had to hang in there to make my choice of chica. Last night I settled on a skinny one fton Medelin who had been eyeing before she's more of the natural type that I tend to go for and although I had to negotiate for extra BBBJ action, she like the other two ended up being quite crazy in bed and wanted to get hee rocks off. When these chicks let it go to that kind of crazy.

With all those hawkers may not be for everyone. Right now they are a little over the top. It's not at all dangerous like it El Centro in Medellin can be, but irs little on undaunting if you're not prepared or just want to relax

I do not know that "influence" is the right word, probably relentless pestering is more accurate, he sends his little minions around too I'm sure. Never been a regular on that beach myself, I have walked the area a few times but I am not much to sit on the beach unless I am going with other people. Years ago though I hit up the board on advice about the place and I was told that Tony has all the chairs that have the umbrellas but this about 7 years ago and things may have changed.

I recently travelled to Cartagena and returned to the US. Unfortunately, the new USCDC covid testing requirements came into effect a few days before my departure. I met this requirement by visiting Clinica Medihelp in Bocagrande. I took an antigen test for 170.000 pesos. Their website suggests that the results take 3 hours; however, in my case the results were available in less than two hours.

The Medellin girls are the best. But Cartagena has the beach and cool vibe. The only daytime action here is play a Hollywood and it's loud and Tony is a pain in the ass. And they also have this horrible music. The noise pollution actually drove me off the beach yesterday. Only to find a nice chica from Medellin. I haven't been to San Jose but I believe it's a big city so if you have to choose between that and maybe I go for Medellin. Best women anywhere.

As far as Playa Hollywood. Done with it till Tony goes. Just the awful bands and music there is enough to keep me away for a while

Check out Oscar on Hollywood Beach. I have never had any issues with him or his area. He has the tables, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, ice and food. Good service.
