I made a few posts on the CTG board a few years ago as a Newbe to that area and I got the same treatment from Urban Wildlife. He bombarded me with info that made my trip there point and click. Later I sent him a little info on areas that I was familar with. That how this game should work.

I'm looking at spending 4 nights in Cartagena, following my 10 day stay in Medellin in March.

What's my best option for moderate price, A / C, decent room & chica friendly.

Hotel or Apartment thru Juan or Mery (not a lot of recent info on hotels in the hotel thread)

By the forum, it looks like El Laguito or Boca Grande is the prime area I need to stay in?

How far are some of the bars and discos that are located in El Centro (Elektra, Mister Babilla, Babar, etc.) from Laguito or Boca Grande?

Dude. The info you sent me was great and much appreciated. I've reread it many times. I've crossreferenced the names of bars & other spots you mentioned with the addresses I got from "World traveler 69" Cartagena list and put them into a google map. Just some of the locations that resulted in google maps looked a little off. Hence the inquiry as to how far away some of these spots should be! Your info didn't have addresses. So I'm just covering my bases.

& there's just no recent info on hotels in the hotel thread. A couple of posts in 2010 and the rest is '09 & '08.

I'm actually looking for info on the exact same thing. Looking for a decent chica friendly hotel centrally located near the old city and the nighlife.

Can't decide whether or not to try and look for someone that will rent me an apartment for a week. This will run me about 50 bucks a day imo. Or just find a decent hotel for say 30 bucks a night.

Hollywood Beach is not that nice. It's crowded, rocky, and worst of all are the annoying guys trying to hook you up. One followed me around despite my objections. I did everything but push him. He did point out the group of girls working the beach, four cuties sitting with a couple guys.

I was walking away from him when I ran into Annie. She was in a tight knit beach dress, showing off her curves, walking up to use the bathroom.

We sat in a gated part of the beach where the annoying guy couldn't follow us. She flirted, and I don't think that she knew that I knew, that is until I asked her if she liked to make love, and to do specific things, actually. She wanted 200, 000, then 150, 000, but it was late afternoon and she settled for 100, 000.

Then she did something to my finger in her mouth that took my breadth away. This girl was the best I've ever had. Look for her. She's 31, blondish with freckles, from Bogata. She has a scare on her neck from a car accident and a big tattoo beneath her navel.

Absolutely fantastic in bed. I thought the girl from Cali was a nympho. Annie asked to get on top,"just for a minute," and promptly came twice more. I had to cover her mouth because it was quiet in the hotel at that hour.

I asked her to come back the next morning for a session before heading to the airport. This time she showed up in a white cotton dress and heels. Two hours of unhurried romp. I truly hated to leave. And I've been thinking of my next trip to Colombia since.

It was Thursday night and by midnight there was still nothing going on at Queens or Isis. Perhaps there were a dozen girls and handful of guys, but the energy was just very slow. This was the case for these two clubs my whole trip.

Time to head to LDV. It was very easy to get to, about 10 minutes taxi from the old city. You walk up steps from where the taxis wait on the street and there is a courtyard with a couple bars, including LDV. There were about 15 girls hanging out outside and then inside about 25 more, outnumbering the guys three or four-to-one.

I chatted up this light-skinned 19 year old from Medellin. She was thin and showing a lot of skin, tiny shorts unbuttoned and a bare midriff. Unfortunately she only did CBJ; her attitude overall was uptight in fact, so I moved on. There was a very friendly girl in a red dress, also from Medellin, a little curvier and older (25 I think) than is my usual, but I liked her smile. And I think she let me try out a kiss. Somehow I got the impression that she would be under a little time pressure to return to a baby at home, so, well let me see who else is interesting.

I ended up with a pretty girl from Cali, about 21 and thin. She wanted 200, 000 but I told her 150, 000 was the standard rate and when she thought I might move on she said fine.

She was great. Her mouth was wonderful and she loved oral both ways. (It's great when you come up for a breadth and she pushes your head back down) No rush to leave either.

I took her cell and made a date for the next evening. We had a drink and went back to the hotel for another great session. She insisted on 150, 000 again. It was before 11 o'clock so it should be less, but I didn't press it.

My plan for the rest of the night was to collect phone numbers for the following day. I ended up at Elektra which was really hopping. There were probably 30 girls and almost as many guys, but lots of dancing and partying, unlike LDV. Really great energy.

I woke up the next morning with a bunch of phone numbers, none of whom I could remember, so I knew it was time to head to the beach.

If you don't speak fairly good spanish, I would skip Cali and Bogota. Cartagena is a tourist town, organized around separating visitors from their money in return for providing fun activities. Not speaking Spanish is no problem there.

In Cali, the casa Clininca Doctor Amor has lots of beautiful girls of all sizes and shapes, prices starting at 35k pesos for 30 minutes. And you can stay next door at Apt Hotel Del Rio with a gym and pool. And the neighborhood is not too bad, close to everything in Cali.

In Bogota the inexpensive casas are all in sketchy neighborhoods. If you stick to the safer north part of the city, everything is much more costly, including girls.

I'm by no means fluent in spanish. But I know enough to get me through my previous solo / accompanied trips to Medellin, Lima, Peru & DR. I can get around town, and make a little small talk with the chicas. The problem is if they mistake me for being fluent and fire off rapid spanish. Then I'm lost until they slow down and repeat.

I'm reading thru all 3 threads at once 4 info.

I get the idea Cartagena is more bars / discos w / freelancers (which I prefer) as opposed to casas.

With Cali being more casas.

Do you know anything about the "Castle Cali"? Found a post from '09 saying this place is like the MDE mansion, as to helping setup guests with girls. The link for it just describes random services offered, not like a hotel website. I will post this in the Cali thread also to try and find out more, as it may belong there.

It's called a Condominium Association. With rules. Made by the unit owners. Just like Condo Associations everywhere in the world. Trying to 'bribe' a 'guy' working the door is not the class move, Pussylover. Anywhere. Find somewhere you can love all the pussy you want. At the same time. And report back.

Reference Mirador Del Laguito, I had a buddy who stayed there less than a month ago and he told the guard refused a bribe and would not let him take the 2 girls he had picked up at LDV to his room. He claims the guard told him they have a camera in the lobby area and he is not allowed to let any of the guests, who do not own a unit in the building, take more than one girl at a time to their rooms. He claims the guard turned down $50. 00 US to let them both in. I recently asked another friend about this new policy at Mirador and he told me Mery is even telling her customers that one girl per guest is the rule in that building. If this is true, I will never stay there. Not that I do a lot of doubles or triples, but I at least want the option should I decide to do it. Anyone else have any idea why they would start such a stupid policy which will discourage some of us from staying there?

Very simply, the owners of the apartments who actually live on the premises do not want the place to be over run with party people, noise, and theft problems. They want the place to be known as a family type of building. This comes directly from a couple permanent residents of the building that I know very well.

i like the idea of ldv in cartagena with freelancers hanging out & the beach. the cali thread gave me the impression p4p would be a little cheaper, but some reviewers stated of a lot of the girls being thicker & less attractive. the bogota thread seemed to be a lot of peeps unhappy with the clubs & drink prices & prices for p4p, although a lot of the girls were reported as being stunners, just asking us type prices.

What a fantastic town, Cartagena. First, thanks to all the posters who clued me in. Now here's my report.

My flights were screwed up and I arrived around 10:00 PM. The airport is small and newish. No problem. I had gotten pesos from an ATM on a layover in Medellin airport so I hopped a cab, agreeing the amount first (a little extra because of my bags. Fine).

As some veterans recommend, I stayed in a hotel in the old city, Centro Hotel. The room was about 80 USD a night (I'll leave more info in the lodging section of the forum). I recommend staying in the historic part of town. It's beautiful, interesting during the day, and in the middle of things at night.

It just took me a couple calls after searching the internet for a hotel that would allow guests. The hotel desk woman was a little shy but she said no problem, you can have a girl to your room. I took her name, and called back the day before my arrival to confirm my reservation, which they had lost. Anyway checking in I ask the clerk one more time about girls. He says I have to pay for an extra person in the room. WTF! I say I spoke with Tatiana on the phone."Well if you cleared it with Tatiana. No problem." Boy that was easy, but I was glad I knew her name. I continued to be nervous about bringing girls in the whole trip but never ran into any problem. It definitely wasn't a monger hotel, and I was moderately discreet.

By the way, I speak moderately good Spanish. It might be a little harder in Cartagena speaking only English. Obviously you can get what you want, but little glitches may be more irritating to work out.

So I set out on foot to check out Tu Candela, and the two pro spots, Queens and Isis. Tu Candela was rockin', great crowd and music, with a couple working girls with guys. (Isn't it funny how you can spot them immediately while non-mongers are oblivious? It's like we have special glasses)

Both Queens and Isis were boring, but there was a tall, dark local lurking outside of Isis that chatted me up and clued me in to the salida charge for a girl from either of those places (I don't remember the amount but it was steep).

So it's now after midnight and with nothing on offer I take a walk through the clock tower gate, down the long esplanade, and ran into Carmen. She was thin, about 20, and dressed in a short, tight skirt and heels. We chatted and walked while she ate some mango from a street cart. The coastal girls are dark, and less sophisticated (but still dressed pretty fucking hot). She was sweet.

I offered her 100, 000 (about 50 bucks) and she said ok fast enough that I knew I was overpaying. She later told me that if I asked her out again she'd take 70, 000, which probably tells you what the right price was. By the way, I always ask before talking money,"Te gusta besar?" (do you like to kiss) and "Por la boca sin condon?" (BBBJ). A less-than-enthusiastic response is usually a deal killer.

Carmen was plenty enthusiastic. It may have helped that I made her come first, but I think she just enjoys her work. I certainly did. She stayed a couple hours and would have stayed as long as I wanted.

I ran into Carmen every night of my stay, usually in the plaza between the clock gate and the Donde Fidel beer garden. We would have a nice chat, but by then I had moved on to the next.
