I decided to try staying in El Centro, this trip, as opposed to my usual high rise condo rental in Bocagrande. Six one way, half dozen the other, IMO. I ended up checking out Bazurto Social Club, which has a cover (I can only hope it goes towards the live band, because there's no other way to justify a cover charge). It was decent, some people dancing, good service, and some interesting backpackers that were all yipped-up. I perused the Clock Tower crowd, around 3 am, maybe. I ended up getting a "Mexican Wrap" from Clock Tower Pub (See: hamburger patty inside a tortilla, with cheese, and guac / sour cream on the side).
