I personally would like to see LDV go away.

The politics at the door do go beyond ID.

There are legitimate reasons they will not allow certain girls in and crooked reasons why the same girls continue to get in again & again.

I know of guys who have their property taken from a bad chica in while in their bedroom. I also hear that after complaining, these girls are still allowed re-entry. The drugs in the bathrooms are a problem there as well as Elektra.

The need for drugs drives some girls to do things beyond the expected servicing. Once addicted to these drugs, they go downhill. As they go down in attractiveness, they have fewer "Johns" and make less money. I overheard one girl say that she hasn't been taken out in a month now. As time wears on the problem is perpetuated by newer, younger, more attractive competition coming in and working for less money. This leads to confrontations between the chicas. And guys like you and me can get caught in the middle just by "being in the wrong place at the wrong time".

No, often times those girls are denied entry because they don't know the gatekeeper. They aren't "in" so they find themselves sitting outside depending on the guy at the door's "whim".

The owner may initially come across as ok but I have no use for him.. AT ALL! He's arrogant, self-centered, profit driven opportunist who does NOT have his clients interests at heart.

I've told my experience, so I won't repeat it here but I did have a nice conversation with a couple of the policemen that work the little station there in Laguito last month. They referred to him as "un hombre muy malo" and gave me a face like he just chugged a raw lime.

If you ever have any problems there don't look to club management for help.

There are other places opening up and Cartagena will continue to grow.

I will look to them for my patronage.

LDV's owner encourages girls working the club, to go over to Elektra (his other business venture) at around 2:30. His favors the chicas who sucker you into going with them to Elektra. Also note: if you go to Elektra with an LDV girl you will be paying MORE for your drinks (presumably the girls cut?) Go alone and buy a drink, it'll cost less.

all of the fore mentioned reasons they sit outside are valid. another is that this year smoking was banned inside the club. personality conflicts, loud music, no ceduala or previous banishment along with the smoking habit all contribute. i picked up one last month outside and she was a dud from venezuela. total starfish but it could have easily been inside ldv.

i'm not certain why they were denied entrance. could be because they only allow so many girls on the premisies at one time. once they reach that number (whatever that may be) all others are denied entrance. it is a relatively small venue so i suspect they don't want 75-100 girls sitting around inside. it certainly wasn't based upon their appearance. all the ones i saw outside were nice looking.

dw 1987 says the girls not allowed in to ldv often gather outside at 10pm. my guess is that is pretty early, before many of the girls who are allowed in arrive. therefore it may be another reason, not who got there first, unless there is a lineup to get in to ldv at around 10pm.

(i have never been to colombia but my experience in the far east, brazil and the dominican republic is that very few people enter these types of discos or clubs before 11:30). also, girls who have no id often are ****, so maybe that is the reason they cannot get in. is age 18 the minimum age for these cartagena clubs? (what is the minimum age of a girl we are allowed to do there?) what will the cartagena cops do if you do a girl and she turns out to be ****? still curious why these girls are outside - maybe jailbait or diseases or something else?

The girls outside LDV sit there about 10 pm starting Sir Lenka says 11pm but I have sat there many nights at 10.Some of those ones sit outside because they have no ID,got in fights with the other chics or they are by theirself.I got many offer it at 75k pesos but was more interested in the 8 or Better chics the ones outside some are cute but not that cute.Sometimes the next day I would see same chics offered to me by Tony for 150k pesos I told him I turned it down last night for 75k then they both relize they were busted .LOL

Touts I was ready to start doing physical harm to them first trip in March. Last trip I would walk by them like I did not speak there language. Try some Star Trek language on them they will give up. If they walk with you walk the other direction. If its a half friendly one no gracias and don't look the slightest bit interested especially the Massage girls that Say "Promotion" thats Spanish for you are about to get scammed for 20k peso massage.

Street girls good luck! Some people swear there is girls walking aroung La Guito for 50-100k pesos I have never seen anything good. Discos like Mayorista? LDV in Laguito and Electra in El Centro.$100 bucks? Thats about right for overnight best looking ones. Not so good looking would not do them for free so don't ask me for prices.

Beach girls comb the beach in front of Hotel Dann is everyones best friend Tony. His girls are best ones 150k pesos allm the way down to da uglys 50k pesos. You can find girls on beach with there friends on vacatio but it depends what you look like and you speak Spanish or buy them beers. Never a Pina Colata{spelling? } you will get a 50k surprise from the beach tout!

We recently returned from Medellin and are now interested in a trip to Cartagena.
From what I have researched on this board it seems pricier and more difficult to find girls on the streets, in the casas and in the bars.

Can anyone advise on places to go in Cartagena similar to the Mayorista, or the area around 53 rd and DeGrief or the the casas and strip clubs around Nutibarra.

We like walking around and from what I have seen so far it looks like this may not be the city to choose for our type of mongering. $100 does not fly for us.
