    The square is basically closed

Even if the girls aren't walking around the square, they'll be in the bars anyway.

I'm interested to hear how it is around there at the moment. I'm planning to return in April.
Since last Saturday no one can stop in the square. They have.

Barricades. Everyone has to keep walking. It'll be interesting to see how it goes win the crackdown hits full swing.

The initial stage of the crackdown is supposed to be 12/11 with full effect 12/24. They're talking military support and 11 new checkpoint type deals. Centro, San Diego and Getsemani all basically on heavy enforcement. Per the announcement Foreigners discovered seeking sex tout will be deported and label unwelcome people". How they are going to determine who is seeking is anyone's guess. I won't be back anytime soon.

Girls from Cartagena are already on Tinder and Hinge, some of my regulars no longer walk Centro or work the clubs looking for a Monger and just do it online.

The girls will always be there and the apps will always be there.

I'll post a report after a few days. Right now I'm just going to chill a bit with this chica for a day or two before going out mongering at the usual places.

This is what we were talking about a few months ago when I was in Cartagena, those American" posse" groups coming on to the beach putting on a big scene making the girls sit on their laps like they were at a strip club all in public. Then the parade continued in the evening if the clock tower taking pictures making a big scene and acting like big shots.

    Crackdown in Cartagena

I don't want to tell you I told you so but I told you so. Those large groups of gringos "the posses" were getting out of control, making a scene and here we go. Taking over the Hollywood Beach and acting like it was a strip club and making a scene in public, getting swarmed over the massage ladies, and beach girls. Completely not cool, and it was just a matter of time before people were offended. Throwing dollars out of hotel windows in El Centro would be similar. For some reason these posses lacked enough common sense to be cool....really a shame because they may have ruined it for everybody else!

Yes. That stunt the travel group Paradise Lyfe pulled back in August when I was there was beyond unnecessary. I kept seeing familiar faces but it didn't hit me until I saw this guy at the clock tower wearing a Paradise Lyfe shirt. Then someone mentioned they made flyers for a Delirium meetup, SMH.

I heard that same group did the same shit in Brazil as well but can't confirm.

Then there is the youtube crowd constantly filming and posting things online about it, advertising for everyone to see.

This looks bad. I'm all booked for the second week of January. Just did it a few days ago. Is this just for show? Isn't it legal if no pimping is involved?

Although its legal, its limited to certain areas and brothels. But others factors are taking place blurring the lines. There are supposed to get tested regularly and since there are many Venezuelans coming over no one can keep track. Police don't really enforce it but things are changing.

El ministro de Defensa, Diego Molano, dijo que se identificaron tres puntos críticos al interior de la ciudad amurallada, donde se ha identificado turismo sexual y que serán vigilados por las autoridades.
Looks like they know the three spots inside the walls AKA the Pussy Triangle "Clocktower, Space / Dolce, Delirium". I strongly believe this is due to the uptick in increased sex tourism because many of these mongers can not get into Asia to monger so they are going to Latin America. Getting into some areas in Asia required all kinds of crazy stuff like Vaccinated and negative test, buying COVID insurance, etc. I don't know if these are still required but those mongers looking for sex are just going to go to places that don't have restrictions like DR and Colombia but when they get there for the first time the the girls can smell fresh meat and empty their pockets like Dublin12.

This may actually be a good thing, maybe after this the new chicas I approach will stop telling me 800 mil and come back to their senses jajaja.

    Thank you

    Hey,

Thank you guys sincerely for the information and feedback.

In one comment, yes I agree should be more specific.

I have visited Medellin and Santo Domingo before. It would be my first trip to Cartagena and I really just wanted to make sure I did not waste a trip.

As far as quality of girls, I would be looking for top notch, spending money would not be the issue but also I am not trying to raise the rates of business LOL!

Medellin and Santo Domingo I had a great time in both places. Cartagena would be new and just wanted to see if that's where I should go or just revisit Santo or Medellin.
