This is old news, it's a done deal but one clarification is in order: They are not going to be American bases. The agreement allows the U.S. to use, ie, lease space, at up to 6 existing Colombian air bases and those air bases will remain under Colombian control.

There is also a strict cap on the number of U.S. personel allowed to operate at the bases. Something like 800 military plus 600 civilian which is more or less the same amount allowed under the existing agreement.

Translation: Fuck you Chavez!

There isn't going to be U.S. bases in Colombia, the Colombian government has given permission for the U.S. to use some of their bases, big difference.

I wonder if there is any truth to this.

I hear that the US is planning a military base in the Cartagena area.

Does anybody know the exact schedule of the event? When is the swimsuit event? I believe it should be on Saturday or Sunday, but cannot find any info on that.

If somebody in Cartagena now, please check local newspapers, they should provide the event info with dates. They are available for free in hotels lobbies.

I'm also planning to be in Cartagena during that week (around nov 12-17), would be cool if somebody wanna hookup sometime and hunt for chicas together.

I stayed in tc803, 2BR 2 floors, it was pretty nice. Torre centauro is decent in general, and "american standard" (by this I mean the toilets flush, there's hot water, and no roaches)

In fact it was nicer than the Hilton, which DOES have roaches.

Hilton has roaches in the rooms or in restaurant?

Thanks Ricker. I wasnt puking drunk but I was drunk to the point that I dont remember evertyhing we talked about. I actually think being a little drunk helped me last longer in bed though. I would have been really dissapointed if I paid all that money and only lasted 5 minutes haha. She even said that I had a lot of experience haha.

One thing that I forgot to mention was that I paid her in the room. She asked for 125 but I didnt want to bargain because it would be a big turnoff so I gave all the money that my cousins gave me and she counted it. Mangos was good to see but it was an older crowd. I would say its a really really expensive show. some people dance but it is more of a "date" club. My primos are models in Colombia and have tons of game. Even guys like this couldnt pick up there. We walked around the whole club looking for girls to take out but everyone had a boyfriend. We ended up hitting on some bartenders but it is way easier to pick up in a normal club. We never tried the go go dancers though. It is also not very packed. I would say go once on a regular night and maybe see it on special days like halloween.

I went to Colombia in August to visit family in Medellin and Cartagena. I first went to Cartagena and had absolutely no plans of going out to strip clubs or brothels. I've stayed in tc 403. It is a very nice apartment. Ny next trip I tried to get the same apartment, it was taken. I stayed in sc 803. It wasnt as nice as tc 403 but the location is better. Right across the street from LDV.Clean and comfortable. I didnt meet Dave Jones, I met a guy named Giovoni. He is an Italian guy, very cool.
