I was searching high and low in Cartagena and Medellin for generic Cialis. They don't make it yet! Real Cialis (with hologram) costs the same as in the States.

Supposedly it opened last Tuesday. I went Saturday night. It was hopping. More than Dolce. It's a lot brighter than before and they play crossover music now. Hi Hillbilly69, how are you? When you say in "front of the clock tower" are you referring to the area outside on the sidewalk / plaza where the taxis pull up, or inside the Plaza de Coches? Also wanted ask why Elektra was not on your map, is it because of its being closed before, I just read a post that said that it was remodeled and open again.

People call it different names, Plaza the Coches is correct, I call it the clock tower, had a friend call it Tu Candelas, he is referring to out in front of it. I took Elektra down as it was closed while I was there, it reopened the day after I left. Figured I would read it after I got back in a few weeks. Alot of action at the clock tower, saw girls there every time I walked by at all times of day but right at dark they start coming in in droves.

All the action is in front of the Clock Tower. Dozens there at times, I saw girls there even by day and the moment it gets dark they were moving in. At one point it looked like musical chairs with girls coming in and leaving with somebody by the second it seemed.

Yesterday afternoon, I went to Playa Hollywood. It was crowded, perhaps due to the time of year, only saw about 9 chicas. Lots of other Latinas were accompanied. Also there were a lot of families and regular folk. Not what I was expecting. Also did not meet the infamous Tony Montana. Tout recommended by another forum member pointed out the available babes. Probably one of the reasons you paid 300k instead of 100 or 200k was that the tout got a healthy cut of that money, during the day it is best to camp a while on Playa Hollywood and shop around if you want to get the best price, personally though sometimes it is nice for convenience sake to just pay the price and get introduced to the hottest babe on the beach without having to shop around.

Board members, which is better Cartagena or Cali? Been to Medellin and while the women there are some of the most beautiful in the world, it's a bit spread out in terms of the casa locations to Parque Lleras (where the mongers stay). I am looking for close proximity of the action to my hotel. If the action is at a club or bar nearby the monger lodges, that would be the optimal destination. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I have never been to Cali, but I thought I would throw my two cents in because I have made a few trips to Cartagena.

If it is proximity you want, then Cartagena is good. But you say hotel. I say you should think "Apartment"! You say "casa", I say you should think "freelance". But if you are into the casa scene, thats fine too. Now let me tell you how to decide for yourself if Cartagena has the proximity you desire. In the Colombia forum that this "Cartagena Reports" thread is in there is a thread called "Cartagena Lists", if you go to "Cartagena Lists" and you open it and you scroll down to the last entry made by Hillbilly69, at the bottom of that entry is a link that will take you to a custom made Google map and you can see where Hotels, Apartments, Casas, and other places to find chicas.

My guess is that women are cheaper in Cali, but women travel from all over Colombia to Cartagena to sell their affections for money so that their family doesn't know, there are also local street walkers that are cheaper and less good looking but even some of them are hot. Between El Laguito, Boca Grande and The Historical Center. They are all a ten minute taxi ride apart, in theory if you go to Playa Hollywood during the day, and LDV at night, you could get laid twice a day and never leave El Laguito, the trick is to make sure you have a chica-friendly apartment or hotel. I always, these days, rent from the same guy in El laguito, an apartment on the ocean with a balcony and I pay about $90 dollars a night. You can find freelancers in many places other than LDV (La Dolce Vita is a discotecha that is nothing but freelance women, usually about thirty women ranging from 6s to 8s and 9s) almost always the women greatly outnumber the men so it is a buyers market. As of lately they have started a minimum drinking rule, so smart guys get there at about 11 to 11:45 pm and just wait outside for women to show up and catch them before they go in)

How is Cartagena vs. Medellin for a first timer? I don't know much Spanish, I can understand good bits and can speak basic Spanish but not much more. I have been to DR quite a few times and been able to get by just fine with my basic Spanish over there.

Just looking to get away for a few days and going some place that is safe (security wise) , offers GFE, good quality / quantity of girls (I prefer lighter skinned girls over darker skinned, but am not terribly picky) and someplace where I can do just fine with my basic Spanish. I've been to several mongering destinations over the past few years, but have yet to experience Colombia.

Is Cartagena worth it? It would be my first time, and I have read that Medellin is more better for Spanish speakers.

I forgot to mention that vitamin C is cheaper here than in Panama City and Rio de Janeiro. I shopped around and found 5mg month supply for $103USD. It cost $160 in Panama & Rio. No script needed. OTC. Best Price was at the pharmacy across the street from the Hotel Almirante. I didn't price V. Wierd, that the day before I purchased, was quoted $110 price.

When I walked in on Tuesday morning, I just got off the plane and didn't realize Electra had been closed. It looks better inside although the pizza place wasn't up and running, unfortunately.
