Posts: 55I think it would be better if you negotiate with a girl here in Cartagena, I don't see any point in bringing a girl from Cucuta, when there are many to choose from here, I can help you with that, so you don't worry about being robbed or something like that, just send me a PM.

I am a realist, not any of that other stuff you are ascribing to me. In grad school we used to have to do a swot analysis. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats. In the Navy we would say prepare for the worst, but hope for the best. Maybe you only subscribe to the hoping for the best part and looking at the strengths and opportunities, while not wanting to think about the drawbacks and downfalls. Good luck to you.

Here is a good account of what happened and is much more in line with what I have observed in Colombia:
https://www.washingtonian.com/2013/0...ne-year-later/
But on their way back to the hotel, Suarez claims, she stopped to buy condoms and told Huntington that if they were going to spend the night together, he'd have to give her "a gift" afterward. She says that when she named her price—$800—Huntington didn't flinch. They continued on to the hotel.
What happened next is a matter of dispute. Huntington's version, according to sources familiar with his claims, is that he never knew Suarez was a prostitute and he told her to leave when she asked for money. Suarez—who later wrote a book about her night with the agent—claimed there was no misunderstanding and that she had clearly set her price before she went to the hotel.
Huntington gave Suarez the equivalent of about $30 in local currency and demanded she get out. "Let's go, *****. I'm not going to pay you," he said, according to Suarez, and shoved her out the door.
Suarez banged on the door of Bongino's room, across the hall, where her friend—who didn't ask to be paid—had spent the night. Suarez demanded that Bongino come up with the money to pay her. Suarez said that she threatened to call the police and that Bongino pleaded with her not to. He eventually went from room to room, asking his Secret Service brothers for "scoots," the term they use for local currency, or any US dollars they could spare. Bongino came up with $250 in mixed currency and gave it to Suarez.
During the commotion, a Colombian police officer, apparently stationed on the hotel floor, inquired about the argument and told Bongino he should pay Suarez. There are conflicting accounts about whether the police officer was advocating for Suarez or merely suggesting to Bongino that he give her the money to keep her quiet. But once she had the money—about a third of what she claimed she was owed—Suarez left the hotel with her friend and got into a cab. They never reported the incident.
The manager of the Hotel Caribe, according to firsthand accounts, was incensed by a list of complaints about his boorish American guests. These didn't have to do with prostitution—which the hotel is accustomed to managing—but with loud partying at the swimming pool, broken glasses, and reports of dog feces littering public areas of the hotel and dog hair in beds.
The dogs' mess could be blamed on the Secret Service and military K-9 teams. The impromptu pool party was staged by a group of military service members, also staying at the hotel, who had trucked in their own alcohol, according to a source on the ground that night.
As the hotel was taking stock of the damages, the head of security for the Caribe called the US Embassy to report that a Colombian police officer had intervened in an altercation between a Secret Service agent, Bongino, and a local prostitute, Suarez.
End of quote.
It is funny how our fucking press got a hold of this and turned it into a woman who performed and got stiffed when the truth is that she was trying to rip this guy off.
And the notion of federal employees doing whatever the fuck they want and raising a commotion pissing off all the other guests is something I could certainly believe.
But the notion that the police were stumping for a working girl charging $800 a night is fucking crazy. The other crazy notion is that a hotel would back a hooker over a paying customer.
After reading this article though, this fits what I have seen in Colombia. I just shake my head at the way this story was reported in our media. It fucking cracks me up.

As for Venezuelans, they are notoriously short term minded given what has gone on in their country and the best Venezuelans do not go to Cucuta but get to Medellin, CTG, and Bogota where the bigger money is. I have actually found them to be much more short term oriented than Colombians but all in all, they have been a little bit better in bed.
I have done seeking.com and gotten longer term relationships like the ones you seek, but if you are getting a combination of looks, performance, and someone who is able to think long term, those are the types of women looking to better themselves via work or school or are relied upon by their family. Point is that you are not going to be able to find one who satisfies your needs. You will have to spread the wealth via two or three.
As for hotels, I would register a room and put down one of the women and (maybe both) after you have had done your interviews and tryouts with them.
All in all, CTG was the worst of the five cities I went to. I only found a few prospects there. I even dated Miss Cartagena from there, and she was a bit of a hothead. Character wise, Bogota was the best. Medellin had the best looking women but the least reliable. Barranquilla was much sparser but my three best fucks in all of Colombia were from there.
Anyway, my guess is that you are going to go into the hooker pool and wind up disappointed. The hooker types IMO do not do well with long term anything.

Todays chicas who are just getting into the market are about extracting as much resources they can from a man before they become too old to get men's attention, most new chicas are aware their body has a time limit, and will try to leche you as fast as possible.

So the questions are always the same; Where are you from? Where are you staying? When are you leaving? When the monger gives them answers to those 3 questions the chica can estimate how much money the monger makes that they can afford to travel to their country, how much money the monger is willing to spend to sleep in comfort, and how much time they have to extract resources from the monger.
Similar to Thailand, allot of the girls do not work in the area they live. They will travel in a group 2 - 4 minimum and take the hours long bus ride into Cartagena on Thursday and rent a room together. If 1 girl can get 1 gringo for the day, the room fee is covered. Any additional gringo is profit from there on so if they can do 5 - 6 gringos a day each then leave on Sunday afternoon back to where they are from. Then a chica may not come back for another month because she made so much money. If something goes wrong, by the time the monger wakes up, that girl is long gone and its hard to identify her if they met on the street. Mongers are getting smarter and asking for the Instagram profile just incase something happens they have photos of the girl. At least in Thailand the hotels make the girl leave her ID at the front desk and she cannot get that ID back until the monger gives the front desk the "all clear", they also make copies of her ID just in case something happens to the girl the cops know which monger she went to see so everyone is on their best behavior.
In my experience in Colombia, the hotels and the apartments I've stayed at with security, the girl can just leave, pick up her ID, and be on her way. Security don't call the mongers room to make sure everything is OK for her to leave, or require the monger to physically escort her to the front desk to pick up the ID.
