A couple years ago they were asking 200 K and getting them down to 150 K wasn't too hard in most cases. 200 K today would be like 150 K back then, give or take.

I agree that there are plenty of chicas under 300 k. Offers and counter offers is the cornerstone of negotiating. 100 k-150 k at the clock tower is possible. If you play into their hand they will have you at the price they want. Be firm.

And confident. Make eye contact and don't look away or act uncertain and not self confident. 300 k TLN sounds more like it.

I guarantee you there is plenty of talent available for less than 300 K you have to know which girls to approach and how to approach them. 200 K is a lot of money and they are far more girls than there are customers.

First day in Cartagena report.

The curfew kind of sucked but everything is busy until 10. The prices though are crazy. Every chica, bar, strip club, tower, street asking for 300. Most wouldn't even negotiate. Hopefully better luck today.

It sounds like Cartagena is desperately rushing to price itself out of the market.

The curfew kind of sucked but everything is busy until 10. The prices though are crazy. Every chica, bar, strip club, tower, street asking for 300. Most wouldn't even negotiate. Hopefully better luck today.

I was left Friday I was getting girls for 150/200 you got to get them at 10 early on they won't I got girls down to 50 but make sure you say Colombian pesos it doesn't matter anyway it's still super cheap 300 pesos is like 78 usd.

Is there anyone in Cartagena that can confirm the following questions; would be helpful as we are currently in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica (which is going into a 9 pm curfew as of this Wednesday) and considering a side trip to Cartagena:

A) Do the girls at the clubs and Clock Tower start earlier and if so what time?

B) Is the curfew 10 pm daily as others have posted here?

C) Is the sale of alcohol in the clubs being prohibited still.

The curfew was supposed to have expired on the 21st and I cannot find any announcement of extended curfew rules.

Most of my experience with the cops come from Dominican Republic where 99 times out of 100 they are pulling you over or have a road block so they can extort money from you. If you can speak the language you know what they are asking for. If you can't speak the language you do not understand they are hinting for you to give them money; they get frustrated with the language barrier, and then let you go on your way.

I look at it the same as when I ask a woman how are you doing and she says not good. Curiosity killed the cat, so I know asking what is wrong is only going to lead to how she needs money from me, so I stick with saying, "I understand that". This cuts off her segue to explaining how whatever happened and if I could give her money.

In Colombia whenever the police have been involved in a vehicle, I have always been in a taxi and never have been the driver myself, so there has been no reason for me to say anything. The driver always does the talking. When I am walking in Santa Fe or around Parque Botero I have no problem speaking with the police in Spanish because I know they are not trying to shake me down. It is all in your Situational Awareness as to when to use which method I would say.

I have been chatting with a new possibility off of a social site and over the course of about 3 days she used the "oh I am sad" twice and the second time immediately blocked her. I always say "Yes I understand we all experience hard times in life but it will pass", this takes the steam out of their pipes because it always leads to I need money.
