I disagree. She could have wanted $,1000 or $2,000, or any amount. You can't just stand around and get scammed to no end. You have to draw a line somewhere. Michael Jackson said the worst thing he ever did was pay those people off when they scammed him. All that does is churn the water for more scamming.

Where they fucked up was snatching the girl's phone instead of going to get someone to get her out of there. This is a prime example of why I no longer recommend my verified chica friendly accommodations in Colombia. Because this shit happens and then the owner change the rules to no more visitors allowed.

Also another reason why I don't do group apartments anymore. We can stay in the same building, but different apartments. When they get into their bullshit its 100% on them, it does not effect where I lay my head.

Yeah I hear you. I don't share my main place with anyone except someone I have travelled with and know their demeanor. I found a couple of other places and I have a method to find other places in the same building. I keep that close to my chest.

So many ways this went wrong and could have been avoided. What can be learn from this?

What I hear about this situation is that she was with one guy (guy with braids) and the rate was for one hour. But the guy wanted many many many more hours with her after that. No one is talking about if there was a negotiation for the extra time, but from the video, I guess the guy thought she was with him cause she "loved" him soo much. I think someone posted a list once of what the most common doping drugs were and at the top of the list were Valium / Xanax type drugs. I read you can buy Rohypnol in Colombia, and that is the one that has been labeled the date rape drug. That would seem to do the work a lot better than scope but if you have taken a Valium or Xanax, I scoff at the notion that it makes you powerless. On the other hand, if you have already had several beers or shots and were given Rohypnol, yeah, that would be bad.

What you and I know is allot of this stuff gets talked about in private whatsapp groups and hardly make it to the public but when it does the usual suspects come out and try to defend bad behavior. Now I'm just doing things quietly, I don't talk to no mongers, and keeping critical info to myself as these new travelers after the lockdown have made things worse.

There is so much dumb shit happening and I've been saying it for the longest and people didn't want to believe whenever I call out bad behavior that makes the rest of us brothers look bad.

A while back on this forum mentioned these brothers sat next to me on Playa Hollywood, asked me a question and we spoke for a quick 2-minutes while I was telling them where they can go for girls in the night time. They ordered food and drinks and then left. Next thing I know the guy come bring me the bill with they shit added on it like they was with me. I had to sit there and argue and just ended up paying for my shit and left.

I also mentioned on this forum when I was with my chick and she was on her phone mad and tying mad angry, then asked me for some money which was odd because we never talk about money. Then she ran out the apartment gave the money to someone in a Taxi then came back in cursing up a storm. Asked her where the fuck my money go? She tells me some gringo took her friend to a restaurant, then dipped, leaving her there with the bill so she needed to borrow money to pay it. Fastforward to 2 weeks ago the same chica sends me this story.

I also mentioned when I went to Playa Azul and they brought me a high bill with extra things on there and I was fighting the extra items but gave in, and when to sign the guy took a picture of me and before I could react he grabbed it and ran off. I guessing enough people been reversing charges.

That would be great. Hopefully Dolce Vita will move back to their old spot in Laguito. The space is still vacant after they left about eight years ago. Have lots of good memories of gems I've pulled out of there and the neighbourhood had a good vibe with the chicas, hot dog vendors and coffee sellers hanging out by the steps. Wasn't as crowded as the narrow street in Centro.

A friend just got back from Cartagena today. She said that yesterday at the ATM on Wall Street near the clock tower she was behind a guy at the ATM with a chick on each side. She said they held out their hands and said money. The guy then told them the PIN to his ATM card. I said that guy was drugged and you just stood there and let him get robbed. She said he should have known what he was getting into. Be careful out there guys.

They are not exactly in the streets due to they are kicking all the working girls outside Centro all together. Those who like the thrill of the hunt can now find the girls outside the walls behind Mall Plaza right before the Roundabout (where I come from that's what we call it) others know it as a Rotary or Traffic Circle. You will know it when you see it.

This is going to be very interesting as the usual suspects who likes to act a fool no longer have the security of El Centro. So those that like attention by throwing money will get all the attention including 2 men on a moto waiting to rob them, and the ones who like to dip out on the bill can get some nice consequences in the form of street justice. Also interesting due to most mongers who like to point and shoot go to those 3 main clubs in Cento or Clocktower for the girls, without the abundance of girls I'm guessing the clubs will slowly lose revenue and die off but we will see in 6 months.

I think you're missing the point of the bigger picture. The large groups of American gringos have put the scene into a tailspin. The same problem is going to happen if the restrictions are eased. As as far as in calls advertised online I wouldn't trust any of those if my life depends on it. Much less having a driver take me to some location in cortehania that I'm not familiar with and rely on him to hang around? I just find that to be an invitation for problems.

It's not the influx of tourists. Locals have been complaining about it for years. Dumek just saw the opportunity to earn some political capital by closing these places down. Dau turned a blind eye to the garbage in the square of Torre de Reloj and he was crucified for it in Colombian media. Cartageneros do not want the pride and joy of their city to be filled with prostitutes.

And it's nuts that you wouldn't go to a hotel, where the chica has to register herself or her pimp. A place that can give you actual recourse if something goes wrong. But you'the rather meet a girl on the street who could go back to your room, drug you, rob you, and you'the have no way to get justice.
