I have watched the Gemini Man movie the other day. I was so surprised (call me ignorant) to discover that half an hour or so is set in Cartagena! The beauty of its colored walls is breathtaking.

There is a long dynamic chase sequence, with Will Smith and his antagonist running on motorbikes around the narrow alleys of Getsemani and even on the Walls. I think I was the only one in the cinema room knowing how those places look for real. It was really an experience seeing those alleys, which I have seen in reality, starred in an action movie. I try to imagine how they could close half Getsemani to the public (how long? 1 full day? more than that?) to shoot the movie.

I have not watched the movie. However, when I first saw the trailer, my first reaction was. Yeah, that background looked so familiar, and lo and behold, it was the walled city alright. I believe they even have shots of the clock tower.

On site for 6 weeks, but did not keep Getsemani closed to the public for 6 weeks. I wonder how long did they have to close the location to shoot the action scenes.

Now I understand why you keep the mystery about why you have to fly to MIA. I think it's EXTREMELY unlikely you will meet any work colleague there.

Once on site, you will see so many girls around you, way more your dick can handle (and I am not minimizing your power), that frankly FB and online dating will be not an interesting option for you. You don't call Domino's to deliver you a pizza, when you are sitting in a all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant.

Don't worry about the mystery, I can see its making you ill with worry.

Excellent news about chica numbers and availability. I have fond mamories of the beach on my last visit, chillin, chatting to chicas, getting rid of Tony the tout and then visiting my shag pad with the girls to "watch TV" or whatever. Hope to repeat that experience some 14 years after the original cum-stained adventure.

One last question: I recall at one point there was some kind of US Navy visit last time and the chica's were working flat out, as it were.

I suppose they're super secret but are there any known Navy visits by the US or similar to CTG during the end Jan\early Feb?

I am not an expert on foreign relations but I know that tensions are extremely high between Colombia and Venezuela right now. I also know that tensions have been high between Venezuela and the US for years, and usually when tensions are high large visits by the US Navy are announced ahead of time. Not to mention that when something as large and slow moving as a US naval fleet is going anywhere its hard to keep it a secret anyway from Russian satellites. Russians have troops in Venezuela now. So most likely it would be announced ahead of time so as to give some bullshit reason for the visit and thus not raise tensions any higher. But I am just spitballing.

I traveled to Cartagena in May this year. I stayed near bocagrande at an apartment. It was chica friendly, especially after I greeted the doorman with a little cash. The girls are everywhere, the beach, the plaza, etc.

Had a nice girl come from the beach to my room. 120 K for the hour. She was 23 and light tan and incredible body, GFE and everything.

Also pulled a nice babe from the clock tower at night, although it was a bit pricier. 160 k for GFE for an hour, real nice, late twenties and a great all natural body.

Also don't be afraid to use the internet, that can help you negotiate better. As always the more Spanish you know, the better it will be for all.
