If I can intercend here i was was down in in Cartagena in June and used Sol de Indias and very happy. The place is not run by Colombian's my friend. The Condo was spotless and the staff was was extremelty professional run by lawyers. Bro they a fairly large sophisticated property managment firm. Look at the main website. Why would anyone be that stupid to try to rip anyone for a couple of bucks. Mr 69 even you would be that stupid. Even you so hot against someone doing advertising that why are you doing it. We are all adults and can make our decisions and do not need anything to preach bullshit.

I personally know of 3 people who have been ripped off by this company on apartments. Go with Juan Ventura, Mery Salence, or Dave Jones if you are looking for an apartment, or search on Craigslist Colombia. solindias advertises there as well.

For 1) get in touch with Juan Ventura, his phone number or email is somewhere on this site, he is very honest, speaks english and rents apartments in laguito and bocagrande. I was renting from juan one time and mi novia and I had rented several DVDs from blockbuster were going to spend a night in when the DVD player in the apartment wouldn't read the blockbuster discs. So she calls him at 1130pm and we walk across the street and the dude had unhooked his own DVD player to loan us for the night, a class guy in my book

2) just go to La dulce vida. I just got back from Cartagena and was there one night during this trip and it had over 70 girls inside. There were blondes, brunettes, short chicks, tall chicks, cosmetically enhanced chicks and natural ones, almost anything you were looking for, easily a dozen 8-9s in my book. And yes unfortunately a handful of 3's. How they get business I have no idea.

Just a couple of quick other suggestions

Cafe del mar- is a great place to have a drink or two in the early evening, gorgeous view and a great breeze which believe me you will appreciate with the hot, humid weather. Also occasionally some LDV girls before they go there.

Mr. Babilla- a great dance place if you find urself with a good GFE.

I agree with this. I just got back from Cartagena about a week ago as well and rented frrom Juan Ventura. I have been renting from him for almost 10 years now and the guy is the best in Cartagena and a good person to boot. I rarely monger anymore in Cartagena as I have regular chicas off the fucking charts that fly in to visit me. This time one from Monteria and one from Valledupar bused themselves in for a 4 day fuckfest. I went to Cafe Del mar and is a great place, abiet expensive, but great. LDV was rocking and there were not too many tourists in town, so it would have been a buyers market. Just get in touch with Juan and have a great time.

I'll be in Cartagena in August for about a week. I haven't mongered in years (I got married), but it looks like I might have the opportunity in Columbia.

I've read a few of the reports of distinction on the city. It seems reasonably safe, and there seems to be action to be had if you don't mind looking around.

I'm just wondering if anyone can suggest (for an English only speaker)

1) Where to stay

2) How to find safe, low stress p4p

Caracol Noticias just reported that Bill Clinton is in Colombia right now too although no traveling with his wife who is also in Colombia on official state business. The report showed him in Barranquilla and said from there he was going to Cartagena.

Good chance he'll be at LDV or Tu Candela tonight or tomorrow.

I´m going to CTG in oct and im wounder if any one has been there in october? How´s the chica sceen then? Is there a low season with chics? Is there any super hot chics there or what? Like pornstar style? I been in a club in chile that had like mtv hot chics. And the wheater is it a rainy in Oct?

October sucked last year in Cartagena weather was good but beach was dead so was everything else.

November was there the week before Miss Colombia sucked then too won't go to Cartagena again in October or early November.

Due to the quility of girls in MDE it would most likely be worse than CTG if they had a beach. I was only having a bout of wishful thinking. For a guy like me I need something other than 24/7 mongering.

If you need something other than 24/7 mongering, your trips to Medellin must be pretty brief ones! A long weekend isn't much more than I can do there anymore -- Thusday to first flight out Monday morning. Good thing is, you are guaranteed to pack a lot of activity into four days.
