You got your directions must have been after a ton of drinking jajaja. The Hotel you speak of is directly across the street when you step out of Isis. Its Hotel El Viajero.

Also its easy to find guest friendly Airbnb's in Centro, a few are actually 1 - 2 blocks away from Space / Dolce and Delirium. It all comes down to what you are willing to pay per night, how early you reserve it, and its availability. Many mongers wait till last minute and that almost never works. I usually book months in advance so I get the place I want.

Here's a freebie, its on average $100 a night, guest friendly and located above the Exito Express directly around the corner from Isis. Literary 1 minute walk. Operating the gate is a little tricky though but once you get use to it its easy.

Thanks Nypher, yes for some reason I thought the hotel entrance was on the other side of the street. I just remember going up some stairs. Thanks for the Airbnb info, I forgot to mention I need one with several rooms which was making it harder.

On a side note, before I went to Cartagena in 2014 and Medellin in 2015, I remember barely seeing any content on Youtube. Now when you type in those cities there is tons and tons of content, including many new posts everyday. And 90% of that is young folks all of a certain demo openly and shamelessly talking and bragging about mongering, and showing all the chicas in the streets and at the clubs. And in the comments you see everyone saying they plan to apply for a passport and head to Colombia ASAP based on what they are seeing. Same thing on IG. Its insane how these folks who probably didn't know what a passport was until recently and would normally be scared to go to south America (and once upon a time would look down on paying chicas) are now flocking to these places. Social media + cheap travel + shameless people with herd tendencies is bad combo. Some people don't understand discretion at all and this problem seems to be spreading to other places too. I know it has been discussed here already but that's my rant.

But it is giving me second thoughts about going, and definitely makes me think twice about telling anyone where I'm going. The whole point of a vacation to Colombia is to get away from all the nonsense you deal with back in the states. Am I going to be seeing lots of these guys in groups around the city, or just at night at the three clubs? How many are we talking about on an average weekend? 100's of them?

On a positive note, before the clock tower crackdown, it looked like it was insane out there based on the videos. In fall 2014 there was nowhere near the number of chicas in the clock tower area and streets compared to what I see on youtube recently.

............if by chance you get a "no" then immediately unmatch. If you get a "Si" you next step is to take the conversation outside of tinder and continue it on whatsapp or instagram where you can discuss prices and services. Once you start the conversation outside of Tinder, go back and unmatch them because they can be vindictive and report you, once you get too many reports, they will ban you. I've been there, had to make a whole new Facebook with fake name and a new phone number just to use Tinder again.

Just finished up my trip in Cartagena and got to say it has beaten my expectations for a mongering destination. I genuinely would have stayed longer if I could have.

Thought I would write up this report as everything is shut today for the elections coming up so using it as a rest day.

I done most my punting during the evening and rotated between a few clubs some hip hop bar I think it was called tattoo, space and dulce vita. The hip hop bar was pretty great it was a mix of working and non working girls, more mixed / black girls in here with perfect bodies, probably my favourite atmosphere of all 3 places as was more of a club with some hookers.

Space also decent vibe, all working girls and dancing q fair bit so was a great way to feel their bodies before taking them home.

Dulce vita probably had the most girls but layout was a. It awkward with tables pretty much everywhere.

All 3 places girls were charging the same saying between 400-500 cop for all night but settling on 200-250 k for a few hours.
