    Stolen once or twice?

I made the mistake having compassion for the plight of the people in Ven, left her in the room alone for 1 minute, thinking she would not have enough time to go through my clothes, but these thieves are fast. She stole my telephone with all my contacts, travel itineraries and docs, caused me extreme difficulties.

In Medellin within the 30 seconds I was in the toilet to remove her stinky condom, a pretty girl immediately went through my luggage. I caught her red handed; she retreated in fear.

I was on a long trip through a few countries. Lucky I had printed out on paper my ITIN, all flights, hotels confirmations, travel docs ect, otherwise I would have been completely lost and had to cancel the trip.

It's smart and is your right to secure your luggage. You should not trust anyone on the road, especially hookers. You don't have to show hoes courtesies. Keep your guards up or he hoes will make you suffer.
Whenever I see posts like this or my chicas tell me stories like this happening to other gringos I always ask myself "how the hell did they put themselves in that situation?

Saying High on Travel is right is somewhat vague as I don't know if I can 100% go by the events of someone who seems like they are under the influence of something 99% of the time. Their recollection of an event can be completely different than someone else who was sober jajaja. I Believe its how the monger moves and conduct themselves. I'm also a little confused, are you saying that a chica stole from you that you met in CTG at the clock tower, then another chica stole from you in Medellin meaning you got taken advantage of twice?

When a new chica tells me she's hungry I just open the Rapi app and toss her my phone and tell her "lo que quieras" and they will come back to me with my phone and ask me if its ok to order what they put in check out basket. I'm waiting for the day when I have this "getting stuff stolen from me" experience so I can come on here and post how untrustworthy these chicas are jajaja.

[QUOTE=CaptainSolo]You should not trust anyone on the road, especially hookers. You don't have to show hoes courtesies. Keep your guards up or he hoes will make you suffer.[/QOUTE]This is true on both ends, as I've said before, bullshit happens on both sides. For every chica that steals from a monger, the equivalent is the monger who wants to pay a chica less than the agreed price because he didn't like the service. Without trust on both sides we have nothing.

Take it as a learning experience. Don't let new chicas into your room without making sure you have a copy of their ID (Google Drive / iClould) where you can verify who they are when something goes wrong.

All documents for entry to Colombia must be provided at the airport pre-departure.

According to this article all documents for entry to Colombia must be shown at the airport pre-departure. This makes sense because Colombia does not want to deal with the people who might show up with no vaccine. No test etc.

    Keep your guards up

I stand corrected If you have not had at least one shot you cannot come

I stand corrected, thanks for pointing that out. I read it wrong. If you are not vaccinated (at least one shot) you can not come at all.

    Here is the exaxct wording.

For non-resident foreign travelers 18 years and older:

Vaccinated non-resident foreign travelers must present proof they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 for at least 14 days prior to travel.

If less than 14 days have elapsed or if the vaccination scheme is not complete, the traveler must present a PCR test with a negative result taken within 72 hours of boarding.

Unvaccinated non-resident foreign travelers will not be allowed to enter Colombia.

What you said appears correct. According to the US State Dept travel site, it says no unvaccinated people will be allowed into Colombia. I believe it's going to be enforced at your departure airport so be prepared. Maybe travel insurance might help if you have to cancel.

We won't know for sure until we hear reports from people traveling to Colombia tomorrow.

    About the vaccination requirement

They had not required testing but now I hear that if you are vaccinated you do not need a test but unvaccinated you need a test, you have to fill out the check mig form on the Colombian migrtation website.

    https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.c...reregistro.jsf

And guys are now saying that you have to prove your vaccinated or get tested so. I am going to research this about the vaccination to see how that's done. But in the mean time I monitor a Blog about the entrance requirements you might want to review the info discussed there.

No one knows where you are flying from or what country you reside in. It is best to check Colombia official Embassy site regarding COVID to see what information pertains to you and your origin of travel.

Information changes all the time, what is no test today can be something entirely different tomorrow. Check their info and plan accordingly.

    Cartagena

Thanks guys. I am going in February if Philippines does not open up then. Maybe I should book one night first and see how it goes. Ermita looks good as I have good status with Marriott. Do not know if locals care much about it. I can always cancel day before checking in and rebook day before also.

Since it will be first time I would be more of a tourist than mongering. I have had good experiences with Colombians in Costa Rica and Panama. But Cartagena maybe different.

Like everything else personal experiences vary wildly in mongering.

    Cabbies

Cabbies are greedy in any country.

For guys new to any location having only a few days, cabbies are very good resources to find gives. The definitely know where houses are. They have taken me to many excellent local hot spots, advise and watch over me while I indulged.

It's just good business both ways. It make good sense to pay them a little extra to get what you want quickly and cheaply.

Some time ago someone posted names of couple of people who speaks English and can arrange a nice girl to stay with me at least for a couple of days for a fee. I looked at several pages back and could not find.

If anyone who knows these people and can pm me I will appreciate it. I know there are some who rent apartments but I prefer to stay at upscale hotels. Since it is first trip would like to take in the sights as well.

    Thanks again.
The Hilton does not allow you to bring visitors to your room unless, as you say, they were registered as a guest when you check in. One thing is that if you do not have a chica lined up before you get there then just register for a day until you get one lined up then make another registration with the chica on it. You did not say when exactly you are going but I might suggest that the closer it gets to Christmas the harder all this is going to be to do. The Colombians flock to Cartagena for the Christmas holidays and chicas tend to gravitated toward the families and work less around the holidays.
