A fellow poster DM'the me a question, but I couldn't respond. I'll post it here.

His question was whether it was better to bring a girl he already knows or find one here.

The answer is always bring the girl you know. Trying to find GFE here on short notice is difficult. The girls do not know you and will just be looking to earn a quick buck. If you have a girl you already have chemistry with, bring her. All Colombian women would love an all expenses paid trip to Cartagena. The attractions are set up for couples. Take her on the tourist sites (Castillo San Felipe, Conventa De La Popa, Totumo). Take her for a few nights to a resort in Baru and do the aquarium and aviary. Do the things you'the reserve for a serious girlfriend, and it won't feel like a transaction. It'll be like a honeymoon, and that is an incredible experience.

I'm hearing reports that the center might be getting to some points of normalcy. I hear cops ain't bothering girls as much as before. But still hearing mixed views about the clubs in el centro. Some say open, some say closed. And Androgeno is the main spot now outside the center. It has 2 main rooms. One for hip hop, one for reggaeton.

After around 9 PM, they don't even bother regulating who comes in or out the square. The entrance to the clock tower on the street is unmanned.

High season is over. They may get strict again around Semana Santa when a ton of Colombian tourists pour in, but I'the say the coast is clear. I was in Centro with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, and when we left there were a handful of working ladies standing around in the square. Police couldn't be bothered.

In current situation I'd suggest Bogota Santa Fe, it's established but yeah sketchy but with rare passport bros prices are fair as well as higher volume. Medellins there too but requires more finesse.

Don't send mfs to Bogota to fuck shit up the way they did in Sosua, Cartagena, Medellin, etc. Bogota is much too dangerous and there is no beach. Stay away!

Why bother is right. Lodging is 2-4 x expensive for outdated apartments or overpriced hotels. The beaches are garbage. It's nice being next to the ocean and the city itself can be exciting. I mean it's got the only downtown worth visiting in Colombia, that's for sure. But once you've done it a few times, no reason to go back. I didn't really find the girl prices crazy more expensive, especially if we're comparing to Parque Lleras, but in general everything is more costly there, and you're more likely to get ripped off as a newbie too.

Yeah I don't advise it. Cartagena strength to me was it clubs, which are relatively safe with plenty nearby hotels. Short Uber ride from the Uber ride. Way more girls than customers, you really didn't have to compete too much. Now that the clubs / girls are decentralized, the hottest club girls have seemed to scatter its more effort if you're more an on site mongerer than an online game one.

Now I do feel you could still find some gems. The recent YouTube vid did have 10 or so girls I felt were on the 8-9 range, and less dudes than usual. Since they don't want to be walking around all night vs the comfort of a club and free drinks from guys the girls I imagine will be easy to isolate and negotiate. Even on a crazy weekend I just stick to 2 or 3 new girls and go wild with them all trip and repeat them during day.

Is there any value in going to Cartagena with everything going on right now. I usually do online game and massage places but occasionally go to clubs. Have gotten plenty of tinder matches in Cartagena from what I assume are working girls. But I'm not sure if it is worth going or if I should just spend an extra week in Bogota. If you "usually do online game and massages" and you already have plenty of hot matches in Cartagena then what's currently happening in the Centro will not affect your usual M O.

If you "occasionally go to clubs" the clubs are still there for you to go to it's just that the main 3 known working girls clubes are closed. The girls are now more spread out. They have moved to Bocagrande and outside the walls.

In regards to "sufficient quality and service" no body knows what type of "girls" your into and the type of service you want from them so all that will be 100% subjective based on your own personal preference.

I can suggest watch some recent street walking nightlife videos of Cartagena and make your decision from there. Also make sure to only use recent information. Don't be that person getting outdated pre Titan24 or pre pandemic information thinking it still applies today. Many things have changed but once you adapt you can adjust your experience.

IMHO, NO. I haven't been back to CTG in about a year, but from what I've read about the crack down at the Reloj and the crazy inflated prices the chicas ask for? Why bother? Stick to BOG and the low cost Santa Fe hood. Though I do miss the wonderful fresh ocean seafood of CTG. Luvchicas,

KBS Travels posted a walk thru of the clubs street view. Allegedly 2024 and you can see barriers. A fair amount of street walkers that are obvious pros and attractive and not just the usual clock tower hoodrats. The annoying thing about the walkthru Tubers tho is that they're not always truthful, reposting a night later in the year claiming its current. One funny encounter was a tuber accidently recorded another tuber who posted the same night and there was a date discrepancy. So take the videos with a grain of salt. A lot will also click bait & paywall only to be the same video in higher resolution..

Pickings are slim in that KBS video from today. There was only 1 girl I saw who is my ideal type, and it was the one at 12:10 and 18:38 in the black top and burgundy pants. Natural, cute, no crazy BBL or xylophone ribcage. As for locating the Dolce girls.

I can assure you majority of Dolce girls arent going to be in Androgeno as that place does not attract their ideal clientele. When we think about it, Dolce girls are mostly plastic surgery with inflated tits, ass and lips. The type of men who are attracted to these type of women are not going to be found in Bosque at Androgeno, so the girls arent going there. Those girls are now going to Tinder, Hinge, and Instagram while gambling their sugar daddies don't catch them on there. Jajaja.

The women in Androgeno are the ones from Delirium and Space and everybody knows the type of clientele they attract. One of my Delurium girls send me a video and I couldn't believe they were in there with gold chains and big shiny watches but from what she told me there are taxis outside waiting to take gringos back to the tourist area so its "safe". I'm good on Bosque.

The majority of my girls are no longer going to the clubs or streets. They figured out how to sit their asses at home and have gringos send them money or go to Medellin for the weekends to make money. I would say give the apps a try. The majority of girls I have in my circle were from Tinder and I could count on 1 hand the number of girls I met in the clubs who I still link up with to this day since I started going about 6 years ago.

Before I forget, Playa Hollywood is still untouched so mongers can hunt there in the daytime and try it out. If they like it then call it back for the night. Sunday being the best day to do it, I know someone is going to say "its a family day at the beach so they aint no working girls there on a Sunday" but trust me family or no family the girls are still there working at Kiosk#4.

I texted 1 one of my Dolce Vennies and she confirmed that while the 3 clubs are closed there are others like Andromeda & some lounge / clubs girls are being discrete in, but the bulk of the hot Dolce type of girls aren't going to Andro. She could be saying that so dissuade me from her competition.

If you're in CAR for 1+ weeks then you can play the online, civvy game. But for new people coming in cold I would wait 1-2 months for the high volume high quality spots. Ethnic Thematic was a cheap crappy girl friendly hotel that's strength was 1 half a block from the clubs. It would suck to end up staying there only to do 20 min Ubers fingers crossed that Andro was decent.

I do not understand this question. Are you serious? Do you think I keep the daily record of girls on an Excel file?

To me, the clubs are not an issue. Clubs are not casas where girls stay resident. The same girls, who I was used to see at Reloj around 23, later were trying their luck in Space or Imperium or etc. , then going in and out until time to call the night. I assume now it is better, because girls now have no place to "hide" and are all out on display. Yesterday I have seen a small group flirting with random guys at Eivissa. If a girl has the money to pay drinks, then the clubs are many and all full of people.

Photos were taken between 10:30 PM and 11 PM on a Sunday night and Wednesday night.

It's amazing then. Maybe Sunday is empty, but on Wednesday 31 January streets were full of night tourists (those who go out for clubbing) and lots of working girls.

However, a point to make clear is that last November I have never been a patron of Dolce Vita, I went to Space only at 1 am or 2 am if streets were lonely, and I entered Delirium only once, to run away after 30 seconds after having looked around, as soon as I felt more in a bar of New Orleans patronized by the local hip-hop black community rather than in Cartagena. My scene is outdoor. I like to see girls and approach only very few of them, if something calls my attention.
(It was different many years ago, when my favourite hunting place was Elektra. Oh! I miss Elektra!! To me, the best place in Cartagena.)

In a nutshell, I would say that Mr. Alcalde made me a favour by pushing all girls out of the clubs converting them in street walkers, as I can see what is available by roaming around instead of entering 4 clubs one after the other, if it wasn't that I REALLY HATE the barricades and the police sirens, designed to the sole purpose of pushing PEOPLE (not just the girls) away from the square. A square is meant to be lived by people. Benches are meant to have people sitting and relaxing.

Still, the square was not empty. There is almost the usual number of people, and many girls. The difference is that nobody loiters in a place, but everyone keeps on walking around. LOL. Mr. Alcalde wants girls keep their legs fit. I do admire the ambulant folks with their poor instruments playing music trying to get tips from tourists in the square, while the police siren keeps on splitting the ears of everyone. Still, they stand and play music, overwhelmed but not entirely covered by the siren.

I added the disclaimer for context because there be some people weighing in on the conversation and once others start questioning their "experience" we come to find out their information is way outdated because they have not not been to the place in months or years, they are going to the places at the wrong times or days such as people back in their hotel rooms at 8 PM or out there on a Monday night giving reports making people think its Friday night at 11 PM. Hell, even in the WhatsApp groups we got people weighing in on conversations and after a few questions come to find out their passport been expired for years or they don't even have a passport. Lmfao.

I had more photos to show how empty the streets were but the powers that be won't let them post. Numerous times I've posted pictures and some how they all don't get posted For example one of the photos where I showed 2 guitars talking to 2 working girls by the barricades didn't get posted, it was showing the back of the guys heads but the girls faces.

Same thing when I tried to post the pictures the chicas sent me from Princesita (glass table smash chica) point of view she had sent to other girls in a group.

Now I just mostly link to YouTube videos or news articles since the information is already public.

Disclaimer I was only in Centro for 2 nights. A Wednesday night and a Sunday Night so take this small report with a grain of salt.
For Cartagena. Its nothing anyone hasn't already known but the blockades are up totally blocking off the clock tower and strategically placed blocking off certain streets..

I have been there Tuesday through Friday (4 nights). I think this matter is highly subjective, so let me add my impressions.

We were not allowed to enter the clocktower area from the LH Hotel side and they made us walk around. Once we did we were only allowed to enter the clock tower area from the right side by the Control Point tent. They set up a whole outdoor movie show there and cleared out all the girls. Pickings were slim, this was like getting the leftover after all the good ones are gone. Girls were standing by the LH Hotel but 1 by 1 no groups.

Confirmed, but the point is that, if the goal was to clear out all girls, what they try to do is to clear out all people from the whole square after 10-11 pm or so (after they finish the pathetic family show, for which they have built a stage with theatre-style chairs in front).

They do not stop any girl or people to enter, but the entrances are narrow and limited to 2-3 points. No girl is stopped at the gates, but ALL PEOPLE is discouraged to enter (2 narrow gates) and to stay. The small police electric car was playing the ear-splitting siren continuously after midnight (is there no regulation against making noise at night?) without any other purpose if not annoying people and impeding them to relax. I am saying MINUTES without interruption, then again. This makes ears to pain and makes difficult to stay, simply stated. Now and then police comes and requests people sitting on benches to move. You know the "no loitering" warning in the USA?

Those poor ambulant guys were still trying to play music, but their sound was overwhelmed by the siren. Still, they obstinately continued to play, trying to be stronger than odds.

Now, if I can understand the logic of "push prostitutes away", I miss the logic of making the central area deserted after 11 am by "push ALL PEOPLE away", which is what they try to do. With no success, however, because the square is still with many people and many girls, but nobody stops in group. Everyone keeps on walking around (do you know damned souls in Dante's Inferno?). I did speak with many girls in the square. The problem is that they never stop walking, ahah.

However, after 1 am police leaves and the square becomes a relaxed place again, although the barricades allow only those few entry points.

The street where Delirium is located was blocked, the street where Dolce and Space is was also blocked, only foot traffic and horse carriages were allowed. No cars hardly any people. (...) They also told me Alchemico was closed, which was surprising as that's not one of the obviously known working girls club.

Fortunately for Cartagena, my impression here is totally different. The streets around are not empty, actually packed of tourists (and girls are there). I do not know when you took those photos.

Alquimico (not Alchemico) is so packed that people queues out and fills up the street. The Street of Imperio, Dolce, Space is full, and it probably where the density of girls is highest. They keep on walking around the area, circling back and forth. Well, maybe we visited at different times. I was used to roam from 11 pm to 2 am (before, I wish to enjoy a good dinner).

Girls cannot solicit in the Square, then they roam around in groups in a radius of 3-4 blocks. I did not see less girls than last November, my first visit after COVID. I saw a lot of girls, of all shapes and looks, but not all together. They are spread all around.

Good job for Mr. Alcalde. As I wrote before, he acted as the one who sees dust on the floor and thinks to clean by spreading it all around the house. In addition, he ruined the experience to all those tourists who just wish to enjoy the place after 10 pm (oh yes, good kids go to bed at 9 pm).

Overall, I am happy of my visit to Cartagena, in spite of these efforts to kill nightlife. I had a different girl every night, with experiences ranging from "OK, but I will not repeat" to "Why did I not repeat?? Damn me!". Paid from 350 to 400, including tips over what agreed initially, for girls in range 19 to 25. I strictly avoid silicon and "wannabe-model" types, so I always spend hours in making the selection, and I prefer "unprofessional service".

The negative point is that almosts all girls above some threshold of beauty and hotness now seem adamantine in offering service "todo con condom" period, including oral, which to me is a stopper. Almost all those girls speak professionally as in an industry, too professionally to my eyes. Standard fee by those girls is 350 for 1 hour, or 250 but with interesting options with adicional. Only some of them allowed natural oral, and they were the only ones I did consider. Years ago, it was easier for me to find GFE with girls around the streets of CTG.

Around Bocagrande and Laguito there are a few interesting girls, but less than in Centro, and however mostly from late afteroon until not very late in the night.
